Wonderful location, private walkway from the house directly to the beach which is spectacular.. Older home, functional kitchen with dishwasher, laundry on lower level. Clean and comfortable. Property manager lives in separate part of the house. Would definitely come back!

A wonderful retreat to spend time with family and enjoy the beach. Through all kinds of weather (mist, sun, rain, more sun) the sound of the surf was powerful and calming. Close to Tofino yet felt away from it all. Bright and comfortable home, with lovely large rooms, huge vaulted ceilings and stellar views from all living spaces and primary bedroom. Everything we needed was right there. So appreciated Janine's inobtrusive yet kind and helpful assistance. We'd definitely stay at Seapsray again!

Loved the location and we had no issues during our stay, for the area it is a reasonable price and we had two good sized rooms. Quite a few stairs we had to block off for toddler in between rooms, but that was a problem specific to us! Quite a lot of directive notes but I guess each to their own.

This house was built in the 70's and has all original finishes: cedar accent walls and cedar sloped ceiling, wood floors, original retro-cool countertops and linoleum in the kitchen and bathroom. We loved it! We felt so relaxed and comfortable there. The kitchen was well appointed for cooking. A caretaker lived on site, but we always felt that we had complete privacy, and when we did need something, they were very helpful. And what a treat to enjoy the ocean view, and just walk down to the beach whenever we felt like it. And to dip in the hot tub after getting cold in the ocean. Sunsets were magnificent, and the stars! Tip: check what time of day the moon sets, if in the late evening, you can get a great view of it disappearing into the ocean. Reminder: anywhere in Tofino, they're on water advisories for much of summer, so must use sparingly.

We had an incredible stay at this little piece of paradise. Our girls were over the moon about the hot tub and being right on the beach. We enjoyed the well placed deck on the sunny days and the coziness of the wood fireplace on the rainy days. Being able to bring our golden retriever was the icing on the cake. We hope to be back soon!

We have stayed in Tofino and specifically on Chesterman, and this was our favorite place yet. The location is incredible, right on North Chesterman, with beautiful views from the back windows and the hot tub. The place was cozy, had everything we needed, and clean. Can't ask for more than that.

This property was absolutely amazing, loved every minute of it. The caretaker made sure we had all we needed and still kept her distance so we could have privacy. On the way I ended up having a emergency and the owner let me bring 3 of my dogs and a litter of puppies with me instead of sending me home. They are very accommodating. after trying for years to stay in tofino we were finally able too and it was amazing. thanks again so much for sharing your beautiful home with us

We loved everything about this place. The view is stunning...ever changing with the weather but always interesting. Even in the fog seeing sea and then islands come in and out of view is fun. There is a warmth and generosity in everything Meg has provided. Comfortable beds...even the sofa was excellent. Everything we could think of was there. We couldn't have wished for more. Its not the most modern or up to date property but we much preferred its cosy charm, thoughtfully chosen paintings and wouldn't change a thing. Thank you Meg and Doug for sharing your special home with us. We felt so fortunate to be there and can't wait to come back. And the stars and milky way from the beach outside the house I will never forget....along with the sunsets, wonderful walks ....and the hot tub!

We really enjoyed our recent stay at the SeaSpray Cabin. We’ve rented other places on chesterman previously but found Meg’s place to be well setup & accommodating, excellent views and even a nice hot tub to enjoy after the cold swims in the ocean. We’ve already rebooked for next summer!

Should you stay here? Yes, yes you should. So well cared for. While it is a dated home, the care and attention by the owners and by the caretaker are obvious. Perfect location. Great view. Very clean hot tub. Everything we needed for a relaxing family getaway. Thank you so much for welcoming us into your home.

Despite the rain, the waves were perfect. Watching surfers from the cozy property, woodfire blazing, was great entertainment. Hot-tub soothed. The cares of the world were left behind for a few days. Mission accomplished. We'll be back. Cheers.

Grateful for the prompt attention to the property. Beach access was maintained despite widespread flooding in the area. The girls loved it and ran back and forth from ocean to hot tub. Kitchen is well equipped for family meals.
