This house is tucked back on a wooded lot, with a circle drive, making it easy to get in and out of! Lots of little wildlife to watch from all the downstairs windows. A great place to stay for Ironman Wisconsin, as it was a straight shot drive to parking and the race course! Also close to grocery stores and restaurants. We’ve stayed in A LOT of VRBOs and this one was one of the cleanest we’ve ever stayed in! Plenty of towels, and incidentals in case you forget something! We will be staying again! It was a great stay!

We really enjoyed staying at Richard’s house. It had plenty of room for everyone, the kitchen was stocked, the outside seating area was so nice. Richard was very nice and helpful. And quick to respond if we had any questions. We would definitely stay here again!! Thanks Richard!!

We stayed at the house along with family members. The home was immaculate. Richard was always available by text or email. The bedrooms were beautiful. The kitchen had modern facilities. There were two beautifully decorated dining rooms. The bedrooms were clean and comfortable. The back porch was supplied with chairs and tables. Our overall experience was terrific. This property was incredible.

We had a girls weekend here with 12 girls, and we all absolutely loved it! Such a beautiful house with tons of original charm, and a beautiful property too! The personal touches and effort they put forward for the guests is amazing. From the cute antiques, fully stocked kitchen, towels in every room, firewood and fire starter, and even spare toiletries in every bathroom, this home was truly a gem to stay at! We will absolutely be coming back for another fun weekend!

We stayed here over the Christmas holidays. The weather was brutally cold with snow. The house was warm and has a nice wood burning stove to stave off the chills. Although we couldn't use them, there are several fire pits for outdoor fun in the evening. The owner, Richard was very responsive to our messages and a great host.

Our 8 member bridge club stayed here for a 3 night getaway and it was perfect—beds for everyone and lots of space to spread out. We ate breakfast in every morning and there was a large kitchen table that accommodated us all. We found the location so convenient to restaurants and for a trip to the UW campus and patio and also an afternoon boat ride on Lake Mendota. We would definitely stay here again when we return to Madison. Owner was wonderful too!

We came to town from Minneapolis for a shower and bachelorette party weekend. This house was a perfect place to have breakfast, play games at night and get a good night sleep! The place is stocked with games and everything we needed to be comfortable. Will definitely try to rent it again!
