About this house rental
Nestled in Corolla, this lovely house for $965 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Please use "Message host" link to contact your Host with any questions you may have. - The address is 647 Wave Arch, Corolla, NC and it is located in Ocean Sands, Section O (Also known as Ocean Lakes) - 1 Minute Walk to the Beach, less than 275 feet which is perfect for families with kids and lots of stuff. - Unlike many properties, IN OUR RATE - WE INCLUDE BED LINENS AND BATH TOWELS FOR 14 PEOPLE. - Tennis Courts are available in the neighborhood, about a 3 min walk from the house. Recent house updates include: - New Nags Head Hammocks Composite deck furniture on top level deck. (See pics) - New furniture and flooring on ground floor Rec Room level. (See pics) - 5GHZ wireless router Frequently Asked Questions: - The house is on the beach block and is about a 1 minute walk to beach. - The house is owner managed and we do not charge any additional reservation/booking fees. The Host fees cover cleaning and optional pet fee if you bring dog(s). - The house is a Sat to Sat rental, Check in Sat at 4pm and Check out Sat at 10am. - The house includes Linens for all Beds and Bath Towels for 14 people, including a packet of towels for the kitchen. - The house is non-smoking. - The pool is unable to be heated. - The house does not have a Keurig. - The house wireless, high-speed internet (5GHZ wireless router) - The house is 1 mile to Food Lion, 0.5 miles Harris Teeter Grocery Stores. - The house has a wifi enabled keypad lock and an access code will be provided so not necessary to check in off site at a rental agency. - The house has a private pool (non-heated) and hot-tub and two private outdoor showers. The pool is in-ground gunite (concrete poured) pool and much larger than many of the newer, smaller fiberglass pools being installed. NO DIVING - The pool deck is surrounded by large, mature pine trees to provide ample privacy. - Pool opens beginning of May to mid May and closes in early Oct. - The house is a very short less than one block walk to beach. - The house has a basketball hoop in driveway, a basketball is not provided. - The house is dog friendly and you can bring up to two dogs (with a fee), sorry no cats or other animals. - The house is in Ocean Lakes, you have access to Tennis and the Ocean Lakes Pool with Kiddie Pool right across the street, less than a 4 minute walk with kids in tow. - The house is a family rental and can only be rented by adults over 25 years of age. - The house has a booster seat with tray attached. - The HOA prohibits trailers or motorized vehicles (ATVs, golf carts, etc are not allowed per HOA rules). - The dunes are quite steep in all of Ocean Sands with many dune crossover steps, just be aware in the event you have a member of your family that has mobility issues. Some crossovers are steeper than others. There are two crossovers on our street, the one on the left is not as steep. - The house does not come with beach chairs, umbrellas or a beach cart. I suggest bringing or renting from a local firm. As you walk inside you will notice the uniquely decorated interior, appropriately accessorized with a wooden replica of a lighthouse. Inside you will discover a spacious great room, a sunny kitchen and decks with ocean views. A short walk will bring you to the crashing surf for an active time of swimming or shell-gathering. Return home for a more tranquil pace and swim in the sparkling private pool or linger for hours unwinding in the hot tub. Relax on the porch swing and on the multi-level decks. Retreat to the inside to experience the Rec Room with flat screen TV and stereo sound. A truly memorable vacation awaits the entire family at Lighthouse Point and you can bring the family dog. Ground Level: Rec Room w/TV, Warrior Table Soccer (Foosball), mini-refrigerator; BR w/2 Pyramid Bunk Beds (Double on bottom bunk, Twin on top bunk); shared Full Bath. Level 1: MBR w/ King has private bath en suite and deck access, BR w/2 Twin Beds has deck access: BR w/ King has deck access, shared Full Bath. Level 2: MBR w/K has a private bath en suite and deck access; Great Room and Dining area has deck access; Kitchen; Half Bath. Level 3: Ship's Watch w/desk and chair for working and reclining chairs.

Good location for accessing the beach. Kitchen well stocked for food prep. Pool water a bit cold for swimming but you never know how it will be in September. Good communication from the owner. Close to Harris Teeter & Food Lion and other shopping & eateries. Worked out well for our group of 8 adults.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sean’s house. The listing and photos were accurate and the house had everything we needed. The proximity to the beach was amazing and made going with 3 young kids stress free. This was our second time to Corolla and we love the laid back vibe and beauty of the area. Sean was great with communication and made sure we had everything we needed for a great vacation. We loved that we could bring our dog too. Thanks for a great vacation!

The house is beautiful and the location was perfect. The pool and the hot tub were equally perfect. The reason for the 3 in cleanliness was this, the outside garbage cans were full when we arrived causing a large number of flies around that area which included the BBQ grill. The pool area is surrounded by pine trees which gives great privacy but also causes pine needles to accumulate on the deck. There was no broom in the house , as I would have been glad to sweep the deck, but as it was we walked on pine needles while enjoying the pool area. Also the concrete deck was green, needing to be power washed. All in it was a great week.

Great Escape
We had the most amazing time with our family of 14. Sean is great and pesticides excellent service. The house was beautiful and location perfect to walk to the beach and we had 8 kids to get there and back. Our family didn't do much site seeing but just spent time at the pool and on the beach which was perfect. Thanks for the amazing place to stay.

Vacay with 6 kids!
We had a wonderful week and enjoyed the pool and the beach! For the most part, the house was well-equipped and we had the kitchen utensils/dishes that we needed. Fortunately, we brought lots of toilet paper because there was not a starter amount in the house. We also purchased some
cleaning supplies and sponges for dishes that we left for the next group. Everything was very clean and the bedrooms are very nice. Working with Sean was a breeze!

Lighthouse Point was a great venue for our two week stay in early May. The house had everything we needed and was perfectly situated, close to the beach, shopping and restaurants. Our grandson was able to put his toes in the sand for the first time. Great memories. Sean was a great host and easy to work with.

Ocean Sands was perfect in every way! Great location, clean, especially the bathrooms which seem to have been newly updated, the beds were very comfortable too Sean was easy to communicate with and our check in was very easy. I would highly recommend this house!!

Perfect Getaway
Check in was perfect, right at the door of the house at 4pm. House was very clean and pool and hot tub a great plus to this house. Walking distance to the beach ( 3 mins max).
You can tell that whoever owns this house looks after it well. I would have liked to see the broken chairs removed from the closet and poolside but that’s just me being super picky

This is our first time in the Outer Banks! The house is so close to the beach very convenient for families with small children! Plenty of space for everyone to enjoy. The weather wasn't the best but we still had a great time! Can't wait to be back.

Well worth the trip.
Everything about the house was as advertised. Could not have been happier. The whole family enjoyed the week . No problems. The weather was great, wish it was warmer because the pool looked very inviting. But, we had a hot tub. Very short walk to the beach, the steps over the dunes could present a problem to someone with limited mobility. There was a great view of the "blood moon" from the top of the dunes.
