About this cabin rental
This beautiful cabin with all modern amenities, sits lakeside on a calm bay on gorgeous Sheridan Lake. Sweeping views of the lake are enjoyed from all rooms in this cozy cabin.
Picture yourself sipping your morning coffee on the waters edge while enjoying a spectacular sunrise. This clear water lake is ideal for swimming, kayaking, and waterskiing, and the large, grassy yard is perfect for Bocci and ladder ball matches. After a fun-filled day spent on the water, enjoy a cozy campfire under the stars.
Sheridan Lake is well known for it's extraordinary fishing with nearly 300 000 fish stocked into the lake each year. The Interlakes Trail Network is at your doorstep and is perfect for snowmobiling, dirt and mountain biking, ATV'ing, and hiking.
Cabin amenities include your use of kayaks during the summer months and snowshoes in the winter. We're just 5 scenic hours from Vancouver and one and one half hours from Kamloops, and we're dog-friendly.
The space:
There is a queen size bed in the downstairs bedroom, and two queens and one twin in the large upstairs bedroom. The separate games room has a queen bed as well.
There is a full bathroom downstairs and a lovely little outhouse behind the cabin.
Our kitchen is fully appointed: Appliances, pots, pans, utensils and plenty of dishes, coffeemaker, toaster, slow cooker, microwave, etc. There is a propane Weber BBQ on the back deck.
Guest access:
I won't be there to greet you but am only a phone call or text away to address any questions that come up. You will receive a code for the keyless entry prior to your check-in.
Please Note:
This cabin is perfect for couples, families, and quiet gatherings of friends. If your plans include parties please look elsewhere. If it is determined that all guests were not accounted for at the time of booking and/or that there are more than 8 guests accessing the property, your party will be asked to leave the cabin and your damage deposit will be forfeited.
Check-in time is 3:00 pm. Check-out time is 10:00 am. By necessity, we are unable to accommodate requests for early check-ins or late check-outs.
To ensure the safety of our guests, we have enhanced our cleaning procedures to include the disinfection of all high touch surfaces including remote controls, light switches, door and cabinet handles, flat surfaces, etc.
A quilt is provided for each bed. Guests are required to bring their own sheets and towels, and we do recommend our guests bring their own pillows and extra blankets.
We provide wood for use in the fire pit. The Government of British Columbia often restricts burning fires in the summer months to prevent wildfires. Burning during a ban is dangerous and the penalties are severe. Guests are responsible for following current fire restrictions during their stay. Fire restrictions can be found at bcfireinfo.for.gov.bc.ca.
Using the kayaks and waterfront involves risks and responsibilities that you should be aware of. Please ensure you provide appropriately sized lifejackets for everyone in your party during kayak use and for your children when playing near the water. Please supervise your children at all times when on the property.
The cabin is conveniently located next to a boat launch. You are welcome to bring your boat to tie up at our dock. Fishing boats can be rented from a nearby resort.

Since my husband and myself have never stayed at a VRBO before, it’s difficult for us to know what to expect. We found that the kitchen was well equipped with various cooking utensils. The one thing that was missing was teaspoons. The spoons were more like soup spoon size. The beds are very comfortable. However, at night it is very dark unless you turn on a light. If we had known, we probably would have brought some night lights. The setting of the cabin is stunning! Beautiful views, lots of birds. We were visited by hummingbirds, wrens, a northern flicker, a pleated woodpecker and numerous ducks, loons ,blue herons and other water fowl. The men went fishing, but failed to land any of the huge trout in the lake. This cabin is quite remote. There is a market at Interlakes that is well stocked. They even have lactose free milk and ice cream! We were there for 10 nights and did go to the Market 3 times. A little pricey, but understandably so. Our daughter in law works remotely, and was a little concerned about the WiFi , but we were all pleasantly surprised. Wifi is excellent!I’m 84 years old and on a waiting list for hip replacement, so didn’t get too involved in activities. I did however spend a lot of hours painting with my watercolours. No end to the subject matter!

The cabin was comfortable and equipped with everything my wife and I along with our 18yr old son and his friend needed. The weather didn't cooperate for much of our trip so we stayed indoors more than we wanted but were able to keep busy with the boardgames provided and TV with cable and streaming capabilities. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again if we decided to visit Sheridan Lake another time.

Cabin was perfect for my family of 7 adults. Instructions and access were clear and easy. Cabin and property were clean. Cabin supplies were well stocked. Only difficulty was we couldn't get the coffee maker to work, but the French press provided, solved that problem. No fishing luck for us but the lake is beautiful, many waterfowl, and amazing early morning sunrises. Thanks Martin

Location was great and property was clean. But some essentials were missing.No bed sheets and no towels. Well those were mentioned in the ad, so not a big deal. But also no soap and no shampoo in the bathroom. It was a bummer to realize those essentials were missing on the evening we arrived.Other than that, no complaints.
