From the moment we arrived, everything went smoothly. Check-in was easy, and our host was extremely friendly and helpful. He showed us to our accommodation, but we were a little surprised to discover it was a caravan, as we had understood that we had booked one of the cabins.
After discussing this with our host, the situation was resolved very quickly, and fortunately, there were still cabins available.
The location is quite remote, literally in the middle of nowhere, but that was exactly what we were looking for! It was peaceful, relaxing, and a wonderful place to get away from it all.
We also went horseback riding, guided by our host's wife, which was a fantastic experience and something we would highly recommend.
All in all, we had a wonderful stay and would happily return anytime. Highly recommended!
Everything in the cabin and area was good, cannot complain about anything.

Everything was fantastic. We loved the tour to hear interesting facts about the history, and meeting the animals.
Our room was perfect, and a really warm comfortable space with everything we needed.
It is half hour drive to the shops so make sure you have everything you need before you arrive.
We didn’t dislike anything.

Fantastic location. Right near the entrance of the park and a 30 minute drive in the opposite direction to Clear Water. Horse riding was fantastic. 2 beautiful ranch dogs and a baby goat the stole our hearts.
Was really looking forward to the ranch tour. Had an email before arrival advising of preferred arrival time if wanted to do the tour. Arrived within the suggested time however owner unable to do the tour as was having an end of season get together with other locals who ran hotels/accommodation. Suggested the following day for the tour. Got back to the ranch the following day at the time suggested…. No one around or available. Gave up after that 2nd let down. Accommodation was OK. Really poor water pressure but appreciate the location was remote. Got “upgraded” on arrival to accommodation that had a microwave in the kitchenette. However, no heating as there was a log burner. No kindling or fire lighters and damp wood made it impossible to keep a fire going. It was freezing in there so we moved back to the original accommodation. There was also a fly issue. The bedroom of the upgrade was swarming with flies. There were fly stickers on the window in the kitchen with dead crusty flies stuck to it, right where the food prep area was. On reflection, we should have said something at the time but felt that this would have made our stay “awkward”.
