Fall colour fun include walks, hikes, cycling, fishing, golf, mountain biking, birding, local vineyard tours and more. Winter fun includes skiing, snowshoeing, skating, tobogganing, horse drawn sleighing or just staying warm and cozy inside by the fireplace enjoying the winter views. Enjoy! The cottage is pretty spacious and has a few different areas for people to hang out. Great views from the dock. Really cool decor and the piano sounded great!

Rich-Haven is in a beautiful location. We loved sitting in the dock in the morning and evening, going to Sauble Beach, hiking at Bruce Peninsula, and taking a boat to Flower Pot Island. The house itself is a little musty smelling as it is old. There are a lot of rooms if you need time away from everyone. It is a very interesting house. Owner was very attentive.

The property is a great family get away home with rooms on 1 level - 3 bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, dining and living rooms, 3 bathrooms. and a great loft. Books, artwork and a lifetime of collections decorate the house. No complaints at all.

My husband and I stayed at the same property last year - as we did last year we enjoyed our stay very much. Enjoyed sitting and just being by the water. Also enjoyed playing the grand piano! Would recommend this rental highly.

Spacious family cottage with clear clean lake across the road. There was some local road traffic, but quiet area in general. Nice enclosed sunroom to view the lake anytime of day. The amenities were as listed. Host was wonderful to work with.

Cottage is charming and well maintained. Lots of helpful info on local activities. Well set up and convenient to use. Access is steep so difficult for those who are mobility challenged. My family had a wonderful, relaxing week.

My husband, our kids and my parents stayed here for a long weekend. The place was very clean, spacious and had a beautiful view. We enjoyed walking along the lake and hiking the Brucetrail. Can’t wait to stay here again.

The lakefront property is situated in a lovely spot. Overlooking the water was very calming and peaceful. With respect to the house, everything was within arms reach. The kitchen was well equipped. The bedrooms were comfortable and the bathrooms were well stocked. Plenty of books and an array of music cd's were provided. The piano was a bonus for those of us who practise. My husband and I are seasoned travellers especially outside of Canada. VRBO is a terrific web site to deal with. It's a bonus to communicate with the owner of the property and much more secure. We would recommend VRBO and this particular property to our friends and family.

Our family loved our visit to the Colpoy’s Bay cottage. A great place to relax in between hiking and exploring the Bruce. Nicely appointed kitchen for cooking meals. We loved the fireplace during the rainy colder days.

We liked the stay at this rental very much. The house is full of interesting artifacts from around the world. It is full of interesting books and musical instruments. We brought our Seadoo with us and we’re able to use it five out of the seven days we were there. It has a very nice dock but not suitable to leave the Seadoo over night. A nice addition would be better access into the water from the dock ie a ladder or lower platform. Very easy check in and great communication from the owner.

We had a lovely five night stay here. We did not have great weather at the start so couldn’t enjoy the dock and grounds but bundled up with movies and played the piano instead. Great location, easy communication, great hot water, clean and well stocked (though butter, sugar, teabags would be welcome!). We would definitely book again!!

We had a wonderful time at this property. The home has has lots of personality- in a great way. The house was very clean and there was lots of room for the 5 of us (3 adults and 2 kids). We were all very comfortable. The location was perfect and the view was unbeatable!
