SHARED AMENITIES -Washer/dryer THINGS TO KNOW This vacation rental is not equipped with air-conditioning. Parking notes: No parking available. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Location was amazing, the pictures make it look bigger but it was good for the 2 of us.

It is very close to the beach as described which is great. The building however is a four-plex so there are two units upstairs. While the balcony appears private it is not unless the other upstairs is vacant. If you are a light sleeper bring earplugs because any conversation or music in the other unit is completely heard even with the windows closed. Also if they are smoking in the other unit it finds its way in as well. You will want the windows open for cooler air in the evenings and again earplugs for us light sleepers. My wife had no trouble sleeping and enjoyed the sound of the waves.

It was a last minute trip to SD. Price was nice and location was great. Just a couple blocks from the amusement park a few steps from the beach. The owners were very good with communication. They texted us to let us know that it was ready early and we could go whenever we want it.

The room I booked through booking . com was completely different to the studio that vacasa gave me. It showed to separate areas with multiple beds. When I showed up, it was just a small studio with 1 bed and zero room for another bed. Very expensive and disappointing

Great location less than a block to the sand. The unit is pretty dated, but bed was comfy and I could here the waves when I went to sleep.

Pros : location. Very close to the beach.
Cons: absolutely filthy,
Stains in the toilet, crusty used hard hand towel in the shower, hair all over the “clean towels”, bath tub didn’t drain and outlets didn’t work.
Paper towels provided were dusty and dirty, looked disgusting on top of the fridge, no coffee left.

Great location but that’s about it. Needs a new mattress and a new couch. It’s basically just a place to sleep. Couldn’t really even cook using the pots and pans because they were so old and falling apart. If all you care about is location it’s the place for you.

Perfect for a quick beach getaway. Very close to the beach. I will advise there is no AC. It was fine with the weather we had while there, but could be a bit warm during the few weeks when San Diego gets really hot weather. If you’re like us and spent most of the time outside enjoying the beach, then there’s not much to worry about.

Wonderful studio with a view and big kitchen, bath. Big enough to enjoy, and direct access to the Beach. Great for simple romantic stay.

Likes: 1. Location, it’s super close to the water and Belmont park.
2. Room is small but cozy. Bed was comfy! Futon satisfied my kids. Full kitchen! Extra beach towels.
3. Breakfast on the porch is a must! Peaceful. Loved watching the ocean and people passing by.
4. Communication was great.
Dislikes: 1. Parking was a pain. Street parking was impossible so parked in the overnight lot south of Belmont park.
2. A/C unit is broken. Once we opened windows and put the box fan in the window, it cooled down and was comfortable.
Overall, great experience. I would definitely book again!

Nice view, my family really enjoyed sitting out on the patio for meals. It was a nice change to be able to sit outside and eat in peace without fighting flies and mosquitoes! Great location if you're there for relaxing on the beach and going to the amusement park and Sea World.
