Situated in Mission Beach, this lovely condo for $180 per night is a great choice for your next break. Summary: Just steps to the sand, this property has recently been completely updated to provide you with the feel of beach luxury! This unit is laid out to comfortably sleep 3. It has a separate dining area and a full kitchen, so you always have the option of dining in or experiencing the vast array of PB restaurants and bars. The Space: This is a second floor unit. Enter into an open L living room with a dining nook off the updated kitchen. Updated plank flooring and tile in the kitchen and bathrooms which is ideal for the beach. Smart TV to meet all your needs. Kitchen is fully appointed (gas stove, oven, microwave, blender, coffee maker, toaster, and all the things to use them). Updated step in shower with lots of natural light in the bathroom. Sleeper in the living room converts into an over-sized full bed. Luxurious queen in the bedroom....wake up to the sights and sounds of the Pacific Ocean literally 100 steps from your door! Guest Access: The whole unit is yours. This unit is part of a small and quiet 6-plex. Check-in is contactless. You will be given a door code 3 days prior to arrival. The Neighborhood: Within walking distance of all Mission Beach has to offer, this charming unit is both centrally and conveniently located, yet offers the quiet comfort most look for in a vacation getaway. Best part of this location in north Mission is that you are a quick jaunt to all the nightlife, cafes and restaurants of Pacific Beach but you get to come home to the quiet of north Mission Beach. Getting Around: We provide a single covered parking space. It is accessed off the alley and as such can be a tight fit (as with about 90% of the parking spaces at the beach). We recommend a small- to mid-sized car to make it easier to park. We also recommend backing into the spot as that makes it easier to get in and pull out. There is free street parking available, but due to the high volume of beach-goers, don't count on parking nearby. Also be sure to read parking signs! Please mention that Vacation Rentals By Aaron sent you! Other Things to Note: This is "typical" beach parking so we do not recommend large cars. The spots will not accommodate anything more than a mid-size car or SUV. For stays longer than 30 days, I require a deposit in the amount of one month's rent to be paid offline due 60 days prior to arrival as well as a formal lease agreement. Despite any stated cancellation policy, I will refund 100% for any cancellations made prior to 90 days from your arrival date. Thereafter I will refund your rental fee to the extent I am able to re-rent the unit for the days cancelled. We only offer the air conditioning between May and September

very clean, superb location and loved there was parking (for a small car). I appreciated there was coffee, paper towels, and bathroom supplies (soap, shampoo, etc), as these small things matter.
I loved that I received notice that I could get into the property Early (check-in) 👍
The only difficulty was a 10 AM check out, as this really doesn't afford enough time for breakfast, cleanup and departure. I would stay here again.

Again, we had a great time. The location was excellent because its 2-3 minute walking distance to the beach, 2-3 minute walking distance to Mission Bay Blvd. and then walking to bar, restaurants and shops located around the Mission Beach area. The condo good for 2 adults and/or 2-3 children, any more than a bit tight. Beach chairs and body boards were provided. A parking place for our rented car was provided and we heeded other renters advice to rent a small or economy size car, so that we had a vehicle to travel to other places in the San Diego area. The condo structure also had its own outside shower to rinse off the sand off ourselves and paraphernalia from our beach visits. I'd rate our condo place a 5 out 5; it was that nice!

This was a wonderful location just a short walk from the beach. The beds were comfortable and it had an A/C unit which was fabulous. The kitchen was small but easy to cook in and had most needed utensils available. There is a parking spot that is very tight (as advertised) but we had a Chevy equinox and it fit just fine. The only issue I had was that there is no outlet in the bathroom and no mirror near an outlet so doing my hair was a bit if a challenge.

Great location. Had most everything needed for the stay. Unit got very warm. There was a potable AC unit but only cooled the room it was in. Bathroom was always a hot box. Maybe more fans available for warm days. Toilet in the bathroom could be updated. It was nice to have a parking spot but was a very tight fit (which we expected after communicating with the owner). We brought our own bikes and missed having a convenient place to store them. We had to lug them upstairs to keep in our unit. This wasn’t the best fit for us but overall was a decent rental.

Great location, well stocked and clean. Property manager was very responsive to our needs. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is that the rug in the living room didn’t lay flat and we had to roll it up and get it out of the way so we didn’t trip

The property is exactly as described- small but perfect for my and my 2 kids. The only cons were that the water pressure is a bit low and the parking spot is very tight - but honestly neither really bothered me at all. The location just cannot be beat! Literally steps away from the beach. Lots of restaurants/shops within walking distance. Check-in was a breeze and communication was prompt and thorough. Would most definitely stay here again!

The location is a huge plus! You can’t beat the short walk to the ocean or even the same equal short walk to the Mission Bay side. We had a great time and loved our stay. It has what you need for a great beach vacation. We stayed with our teenage son and he comfortably fit on the futon couch. It had all the beach equipment that one would need for a great sunshine escape. It is a bungalow with a small kitchen, so just make sure that you know it isn’t a gourmet kitchen. The parking is tight and definitely only plan on a small SUV or compact car for the spot, but such a nice plus. We had one issue with a clogged bathroom sink, which did get addressed quickly by the manager.

We originally had booked this rental for my son, myself, and a friend, but my son and I were unable to go, so just my friend went, and he said it was absolutely wonderful. Before I knew I was not going to be able to stay, I had been in contact with the host and he was more than helpful with all of my questions, very accommodating with fun suggestions for my nine year old and in such a timely manner. I wish I would have been able to stay in such a great place, but I am glad that my friend was able to enjoy it!

Couldn't have been more pleased with our stay at Ben's Beach Bungalow. It was not far from a number of restaurants and shops, easy to walk to and from. The neighborhood was surprisingly quiet. The location is just far enough off the beach that you don't hear all the commotion on the boardwalk. So easy to access the beach and boardwalk to see all that is going on there. For the price we paid, the accommodations were exactly in-line. The apartment had all we needed to enjoy our trip. We thought it was wonderful that there were beach chairs and towels in the unit. The communication with the host was seamless, no issues with finding the unit or check-in. We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed recently to tour colleges with our daughter and show her the San Diego area. Our stay worked out perfectly! The location is great! A block from the beach, walking distance to restaurants, shops and everything you would need. The place is very comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. I was having trouble getting any messages to my VRBO Inbox, but once I realized that, I contacted the property manager who made sure to directly copy my email so that I could access messages. We would definitely recommend this beach bungalo and would be happy to stay here again!

We wanted a place close to my daughters family in Pacific Beach, as well as a property near the beach. This property was steps from the beach and the esplanade. We could hear the waves as well! The first night we couldn’t find the heater controls so I called the host. He responded immediately and helped me locate it. We would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay. Aaron was very responsive with help. The bungalow was clean and well equipped with beach chairs etc. It did get a bit warm but cooled off at night. Dining room chairs had leg splayed out so we tripped on them most days. Location great close to huge beach and walking to restaurants.

Property is nice. Very convenient to the beach. Listing says it has a/c. It is a freestanding unit that isn’t adequate to cool the living room. No a/c in the bedroom. 2nd floor units get hot solid a/c is a must. Owner said fuses blow if a second a/c is running so we were told we have to move the a/c unit from the living room to the bedroom at night. So our daily ritual was to move it back to the living room in the morning and back to the bedroom at night. The heat vent tube is super flimsy and made installation in the window quite complicated. We had to stuff towels in the gap in the window to prevent hot air from entering. We were told to open the windows at night to cool off but only one little one in the living room opens. The others cannot be opened!! No screen door either! The sofa bed is a joke. Only big enough for small children. Kitchen chairs easily tipped over backwards. My daughter sat down and fell straight back. Very dangerous. The legs are splayed out too far to the sides and we kept bashing our feet on them. We eventually put them aside out of the way. Kitchen well equipped but only had 2 small pots.

Clean, nicely painted/decorated, but extremely hot when I arrived at 6pm. Even with the portable A/C unit turned on at 65F it never cooled down until dark when the breeze picked up and I could open the windows Sleep was bearable 1st night with my Vortex fan blowing on the bed. The ceiling fan in the living room works great but not the one in the bedroom. 2nd night no breeze through the bedroom, 3rd night slept on the Futon in the living room, it was too firm but I got some sleep. I think each bungalow needs a mini split A/C to make it comfortable in the heat to get some sleep.

This cute home had everything we needed to make our stay great! Being moments from the beach was key - with a child, it was great to be near so we could run home to grab lunch, bathroom, etc.
when we arrived, windows had been opened for us and the cool breeze had the apt at a lovely temperature. Slept pleasantly with breeze and overhead fan.
Futon was overly firm so not too comfortable for our daughter but was ok for a short stay. Otherwise, great! Hope to stay again!

Great location
We loved being able to walk to the beach or bay in minutes from this property. The place was clean, check in was easy and communication/response team from management was quick and easy.
Only complaints are that they only provided 3 bath towels for our entire trip and wanted to charge us extra afterwards for cleaning because they said the towels had to be thrown away because they were so dirty. We had 3 white towels for 4 people over 6 days after multiple showers a day post beach. The furniture was also a bit cheap and uncomfortable. Particularly the dining room chairs and the futon sleeper. The body of the description says the unit comfortably sleeps 4 but realistically the futon only sleeps 1 and it is very uncomfortable. The bed is comfortable for 2.

My husband and our 3yr, had such a wonderful stay. This rental had everything we needed from beach items, full kitchen, extra pillows blankets and more. We loved how convenient this location was. We were walking distance to alot of restaurants, a market and just a few steps from the beach. I highly recommend this spot and would book this rental again for the future. Thank you!
