About this house rental
Situated in Ocean City, this charming house for $342 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. This home has been family owned for 3 generations enjoying all the excitement of the Jersey shore. This first floor unit has been completely renovated to provide all the modern amenities, while designed to maintain a historic appeal. You will notice refinished original hardwood floors, solid wood 5-panel doors, accents of seashore tiles, and a stained glass transom. All mattress sets are 'Heavenly Beds' by Simmons for luxurious comfort, and all bedrooms along with living and dining room have ceiling fans. The newly designed kitchen, with all stainless steel appliances, provides open access to the living area and front porch, great for family gatherings and entertainment. Granite counter tops include a double sink and additional bar sink. The front porch also includes a breakfast nook complete with a built-in window seat. A newly created outside seating area includes private area for sitting, watching the passer-bys and grilling! A gas Weber grill will be provided. High-speed wireless internet is also available. Actual address is 831 St. James Place. This unit is 1 block from the beach and the start of the boardwalk. Our end of the boardwalk hosts the 1st street lifeguard station with bathrooms and first aid, if necessary. Close by on the boards is Brown's restaurant,famous for their fresh morning donuts, and Anthony's Water Ice for those hot beach days. The property also has an outside shower and changing room for rinsing off after returning from the beach. At the opposite end of our block from the beach, there is a deli, restaurant, pizza shop, and ice cream parlor within 1-3 short blocks. My mom and I so enjoyed our stay! The home was immaculate and the beds were so very comfortable. My mom really enjoyed the massage chair. It was so nice that the paper products were included and the kitchen had everything that we needed. The location is perfect with just a short walk to a fully stocked deli, the Island Grill restaurant, Browns doughnuts on the boardwalk (you must try), and the beach. Having our fur babies with us instead of having to board them was a wonderful bonus and helped us to relax even more. Adding to all of that is the fact that the owners are so very nice and attentive to your needs. You will not be disappointed!

House was clean and perfect for our family’s stay for a few days. Tristin was delightful to work with and very responsive. My only issue would be the parking situation since I didn’t realize until right before our trip that it was street parking only. I had to drive around for almost an hour looking for parking the day we arrived and ended up parking over a half mile away. As a result we took Lyft or Uber everywhere we went, which got a little expensive

My pup and I had a wonderful stay at Tristin’s home. It was cozy and clean, and a short walk to both the Boardwalk and downtown OC. Tristin was proactive in communicating about our reservation, and made sure we had everything we needed for a restful vacation. I would be comfortable recommending this property to other renters!

Clean, Comfortable & Close to Beach and Boardwalk
Myself, my husband, son, daughter-in-law and 6 year old grandson were very comfortable here, and there was plenty of space for my son to have work meetings and my daughter-in-law to do floor exercises. And for all of us to play marathon Monopoly games! The kitchen was very well stocked with cookware, plates, and cutlery. The only thing lacking was a tea kettle, which I mentioned to Tristin. The other thing that would be a very welcome addition is an umbrella to shade the outside seating area for the ground floor unit, which is the one we rented. But that space was equipped with plenty of comfortable chairs for all of us. We had a minor flushing problem with one toilet which Tristin very promptly had repaired. She responds quickly to texts. It was not the best beach weather, but we would gladly return to this rental in the future.

It was clean, more than comfortable, and had everything you might expect in a top tier rental. The massage chair, beach chairs, boogie boards, and bikes added a special touch that really made us feel like we were living the true beach life for the week. If my family and I ever find ourselves back in OCNJ - this will be the first place we look to stay again. I can’t say enough about the experience from start to finish.

We spent two weeks here, and it was so hard to leave! We loved the house. It is as beautiful and charming as it looks in the photos - even more so if that's possible. It is comfortable and clean. We can't wait to go back!

Excellent stay
Having stayed in Ocean City many times, we knew the area well. This is property was accurately depicted in the pictures and had to be one of the cleanest properties we have ever rented. Check in process was easy and we very much appreciated Tristin's letting us know that we were able to check in earlier than anticipated.

This home was GORGEOUS. We were in awe of the cleanliness, beach proximity and Brown's donuts access. The pictures do not do it justice, as it was sooooo spacious and homey. We would love to return in the future.

This property is absolutely beautiful. The owner takes such pride in the home and it really shows! Everything about our stay was perfect ( well, we can't control the weather!). Beautiful kitchen and comfortable bedding! Check in procedure was very well explained. Owner is receptive and pleasant! On street parking can get a little tight , but the home is within a short walk to the beach and boardwalk, so no need to drive anywhere. Bikes are also provided and we really enjoyed our daily bike rides! I would highly recommend this vacation property!

Wonderful weekend at the shore
This is a lovely property close to the beach. Easy access to the ocean city boardwalk which provided opportunities for exercise, recreation, shopping and good food. The property is up-to-date and the communications could not have been better. Thank you for a lovely weekend.
