The owners occupy the second floor, are available for any assistance, but are completely unobtrusive. The second unit in this home is a two bedroom and can be viewed at VRBO 221163. Rented together, eight guests can be accommodated. Please e-mail or call if interested in both units. Each unit has its own private entrance, exits, grill, covered porches and decks. This is a no smoking facility both inside and outside. Located in a quiet residential area, this one bedroom, two bath unit provides a quiet and relaxing getaway to a beach that is never crowded. This unit was completely remodeled and features new appliances, furniture and jetted tub in the master bath. The second bath is equipped with a roomy shower', Sliding glass doors from the living room open to the covered outdoor dining / sitting area. My husband and I enjoyed a week-long stay at this cozy apartment that included everything we needed for a relaxed getaway. The location on Fletcher Avenue provides quick access to the downtown area. It was easy to prepare meals; they provided a drip coffee pot and a Keurig. It was clean and very comfortable. We loved the proximity to the beach; at the end of a long walk with our dog, we were happy to see the white flag flying at the beach steps; it helped us find our way back. The owner has compiled a very informative notebook that lists local restaurants that are pet-friendly, grocery stores, and information about the island and local wildlife. I saw rabbits hopping through the dunes but not the land turtles. Contact information for the owner is also listed if you need assistance.

The property was wonderful, very clean and beautifully decorated. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking. Even special little touches like lavender bath salts. We loved the walkway to the beach so our dog could run and play in the surf and sand. Great location.

Old Florida cabin style with a beach vibe. Kitchen was incredibly well stocked. We found the bed very comfortable. Location was wonderful, right on the beach.

I loved this cute and convenient little bungalow. I loved having 2 bathrooms in a 1 bedroom. It was comfortable and suited our needs perfectly. The light above the sink did not work which made the kitchen area a bit dark but other than that, it was perfect for us.

This was a great place for a wonderful vacation. The location was perfect for everything. It was quite and relaxing. Short walk to the beach that was so clean and not crowded. Would stay again. Our little dog loved it.

We absolutely loved our stay here! We were so grateful to have a dog friendly beach right out the back door. The unit was incredibly clean and well stocked for exactly what we needed. We brought all our food to just have a weekend in, and we had plenty of space and amenities. The only thing I wish was different was if there was a King bed instead of a queen, but that will absolutely not stop us from returning to this perfect little spot!

This is our 2nd stay at Jim and Brenda's place. My daughter and I stayed in the one bedroom unit three years ago and loved it so much that we brought more family members and rented the two bedroom unit also. You couldn't ask for a better beach vacation home. It is spotless and has everything you could possibly need. Brenda is an amazing artist and has her paintings throughout both units. Outdoor areas are amazing! Would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay at your lovely condo. The entry way was unique and welcoming, the personalized sign removed all doubt to our being at right door! The instructions on where to park were very helpful, especially after a long drive. The layout of the condo was perfect as well as immaculately clean, the bedroom was very cozy. The kitchen was well stocked and spotless. It was very convenient having a washer/dryer in the bathroom, and the bathrooms had a generous amount of clean, high-quality towels. I really enjoyed having large screen tvs in the bedroom and den. Most of all, I loved the back deck and the beautiful view of the well-landscaped property. The deck furniture was well placed, clean and comfortable, we sat out there for hours with our dog Lovie and just enjoyed the gorgeous landscape. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your slice of paradise, and being such welcoming and friendly hosts. I look forward to seeing you again!

Wasn't sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. Hosts were very friendly and personable as well as other guests. The Pelican unit was as pictured and described. Everything you would need was provided as well as some food items. The house is beachfront and we loved the sounds of the ocean. The outdide areas were very comfortable. We really enjoyed our time here and have already booked for next year.

Well equipped, shore decor, clean, comfy 1 bedroom 2 bath. Very roomy for a 1 bedroom. Loved the porch view of the dunes and water. The beach access walk was such a treat. We loved coming and going to the shore whenever we wanted. The information binder they created for our use was fabulous. We referenced it often and planned each day accordingly. Brenda and Jim are truly professional and kind hosts. Thank you!

This is our second stay at this property. The first time, we had the larger unit and invited family. This time it was just my husband, me and our little doggie. Every thing was perfect. It was clean and had everything we needed for a vacation by the sea, chairs, umbrellas, beach towels, etc. If it is hot you can sit on the shaded porch and put on the fan. If cold, there is a platform with lounge chairs for sunning. We especially enjoy the the boardwalk over the dunes, where you can observe the gopher tortoises and rabbits that live there. The beach is uncrowded, a perfect place for long walks, I found the bed so comfortable that I was sleeping longer than I do at home. I had to set the alarm to catch the sunrise, which you can see from the inside through the sliders to the the porch or outside. We think this property is a perfect spot to escape the cold and snow in NewEngland.

We had the best week at Fernandina Beach. This place was clean and quiet, nicely stocked kitchen, very comfortable. We enjoyed the covered deck and the quiet beach. Great location, close to grocery and quaint downtown Fernandina. Owners were great communicators, very responsive to questions - and check in super simple. We hope to return next year!

Even though our little fur girls didn't much enjoy their first time ever trip to the beach, we sure did appreciate the most wonderful weather we've maybe ever had on a beach vacation! So much so, that we mostly spent our time enjoying the serenity of the uncrowded beach. Loved seeing the beautiful sunrise every morning from our patio. The fact that I didn't feel the urge to wipe down or clean anything upon arrival speaks volumes to the cleanliness of the place. And everything that we needed was thoughtfully placed and at our fingertips. We're glad that we had the pleasure of briefly meeting Brenda and Jim on our way in! They've got a good thing going there!

The property has the perfect setting for a beach vacation for 2! Brenda's communication is quick! Bed is comfortable, plenty of linens including beach towels, beach chairs, deck with shade and without,and walk right onto beach!!

We’ve been staying at the property for several years now. It’s always clean and has everything we need. There have been some upgrades done to outside area and it looks great! The owners are so accommodating and make sure you have everything you need. Example: My husband wanted to watch the Braves and couldn’t find them on tv. The owner came down not once, but twice to find the Braves for him to watch. Of course while he’s watching tv, the pups and I are enjoying the east access to the beach and sitting out on the patio. Can’t wait until our next trip!!!
