About this bed and breakfast
Situated in New Orleans, this lovely bed and breakfast for $169 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Just renovated. Well-appointed light filled two bedroom historic cottage in a lovely quiet uptown residential neighborhood. New furnishings, bedding, kitchen appliances and supplies. This is your NOLA home away from home. Located three blocks from the St. Charles Avenue Streetcar, five blocks from Freret Street restaurant row, five miles from the French Quarter, and a mile from Tulane and Loyola. THE SPACE: The cottage was once the horse stables for a nearby plantation. We lovingly renovated it into a two bedroom apartment in 2017. It's located behind our home, and is accessed through a private gated entrance and an 80 foot long landscaped pathway to the front door. With a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, and private entrance, its perfect for long term guests and is kid friendly. License 21-RSTR-08662 / 20-OSTR-01025. GUEST ACCESS: The guest house is equipped with high speed WI-FI internet, washer & dryer, and a well supplied kitchen. INTERACTION WITH GUESTS: Please let us know how we can make your stay more comfortable. PLEASE NOTE: No pets, No smoking or loud music. We have children who you may hear playing in the yard adjacent to the cottage.

It’s truly the very best place to stay in NOLA as long as you don’t mind not being right downtown where all the action is. But it’s not far from all that either. The owners are incredible and kind. The place is super quiet and immaculate. If you can actually find open dates, don’t book it cause I probably want too!!! No really, this is a no brainer. If there were 10 stars, I’d give it all 10!

I don't normally stay in NOLA for an entire week but my daughter was getting married and there was a lot to prepare for. I couldn't have asked for a better spot location wise and it was charming and so comfortable. I actually would have been happy to stay and I missed the place when I left! Hope to visit and stay here again.

This was a great experience for my family to stay in for my sisters wedding. Jenny was wonderful to work with and very quick to respond! The property is private and safe. The decor is beautiful and very comfortable!

This is a garage style apartment in the back of the property of the owner. It is nicely landscaped and fenced off from the house. There is complete privacy. We did not see the owner our entire stay, however, they were immediately responsive to any communication. The rental has many fine upgrades and is newly renovated. These include soft, close cabinets, new range, high quality, bed, sheets, and mattress, and nice amenities like shampoo body wash. Kitchen is fully equipped. I can’t say enough about this property. I highly recommend Five stars

We had a wonderful time at this guest house/cottage! It was in a great location, just a short drive to all the best activities and sights New Orleans has to offer. The cottage was stocked with all the essentials and was so cozy. We were sad to leave, but enjoyed our stay very much!

Incredibly clean and just as pictured. Worked wonderfully for 2 adults and a toddler. Easy to get around town from the location and the property owners has one of the best guidebooks I’ve ever seen in a location. Will be keeping this place in mind for future trips back to New Orleans!

We have been to Nola at least a dozen times. This is one of our favorite locations. The cottage was perfect for the three of us. The location worked very well for us to walk to restaurants on Freret and to get ice cream at the Creole Creamery. The proximity to Tulane is great as well.

Everything was perfect, and the property was well-stocked and comfortable. The location was in a quiet area, with convenient access (10 minute walk) to the St. Charles streetcar, which we used to visit all the other neighborhoods nearby. We happened to be in town for the Irish Channel St. Patrick's Day Parade, which was fantastic. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We had a great stay at Jenny's place. It's in one of our favorite areas of New Orleans, and the property itself is great. Quiet neighborhood, comfy beds, spacious, and well designed and decorated. Jenny and her family are great hosts and were super accommodating (we were able to check in a bit early!) They are also excellent communicators and we would highly recommend them and their property to anyone looking for a great place to stay in New Orleans. Thanks Jenny, we hope to stay again sometime soon!

What an awesome place to stay for our family of 4. The guest house is tucked away and basically hidden in a secret garden. You are only a few blocks away from the street car and close to many restaurants. The beds were great, and though we didn't cook, there was a kitchen with everything you need. Jenny was an amazing host and so helpful!!! Will stay here again when we come back to NOLA.

Perfect for 2 couples or parents with children. Both rooms were very comfortable and the kitchen/living room area provided plenty of room and comfortable seating for us.

Outstanding location in a beautiful, well appointed carriage home with amazing decor. Linens and bedding were sumptuous. We all slept like a babies. Well stocked kitchen. This suited our party of 3 perfectly. Jenny is a superb host-attentive and quick to respond. We definitely plan to return.

This guest house was perfect for me, my husband and daughter when we traveled to New Orleans recently. The entrance is secure; we felt so safe the entire time we were there.
The location is great...just a few blocks from St. Charles St. and the streetcar.
The guest house itself felt new and clean and came equipped with everything you might need....like you are in your own home. They thought of everything. Jenny and her husband were great! They responded quickly to my questions before our arrival and were so kind when we met them while we waited for our Lyft in their driveway. They had no problem letting us leave at around 5:30 pm on our last day because they didn't have it rented the next day. We really appreciated that since our flight was a late one!
If we go back to New Orleans, there is no doubt...this is where we will want to stay.

We loved our stay. Everything in the cottage was amazing. The high ceilings and beautiful decor made it seem much larger. There was ample space for three adults. It was easy to find off-street parking and close to all the things we love about NOLA. We will definitely book with Jenny again!

Gorgeous interior decor, high end linens, and very comfortable beds. Our 15 year old daughter slept comfortably on the fold out futon chair. Appreciated that there were lots of drawers and trays to keep our personal items stored away. Well equipped kitchen with good quality appliances, pots/pans and utensils. Cabinets stocked with lots of basic staples for cooking.
Bathroom also thoughtfully stocked should you need anything. Safe neighborhood with short walk to streetcar stop. Great communication from experienced hosts. Lots of attention to detail. Stay here, so much nicer than a hotel.

Amazing stay!
This place was perfect. Location was great, only 3 blocks off St Charles Ave. The cottage was spacious, decorated beautifully and well stocked. It has a private pathway that was lined with flowering jasmine, which smelled heavenly.! Communication with Jenny was swift and friendly.. We come to New Orleans every few years and this will be our go to place from now on. Note…if you have a group of 4 there is not really a good place for you to sit and eat a meal together. The dining table is small but perfect for two people. The place is so lovely we actually ordered dinner out half the time and brought it back to the cottage!

Nicely finished in excellent location
Nicely finished interior with small kitchen. Having dishwasher and clothes washer/dryer was helpful for staying more than a few days. 3-4 blocks walk to some good Po-boys, excellent Ice cream shop and bakery. 7min walk to St Charles Street tram (about 30min ride to downtown). Short drive in the other direction to more restaurants and grocery store. Easy check in. Neighbourhood is really nice.

Best VRBO ever
This place had everything. Jenny, the owner was easy to contact and provided all the amenities for a perfect weekend. Cottage is very roomy (larger than pictures). Really loved having the nice kitchen. The lighting from the beautiful windows was amazing. I really loved waking up each day to the chirping of birds in that luxurious king bed. Linens and extras were top notch . We can’t wait to come back to this cozy cottage. Thanks so much for sharing your home.

A hidden gem in NOLA
We loved our stay and everything was absolutely perfect! It’s located in a safe neighborhood with a private gated entrance that is easily accessible. Jenny was wonderful to work with, and the property was absolutely gorgeous. It had everything we needed and close enough to everywhere we needed to be. It was quiet, quaint, and parking was simple. We would definitely recommend this hidden gem!
