Sugaree is 700 sq ft with a full kitchen, living room and washer and dryer set up. Awaken to a courtyard garden and open your doors and enjoy your morning coffee on your private deck. The upstairs is a great place to relax and plan your day's activities. Walk or bike to nearby shops and dining in Seagrove, Seaside and Watercolor. Enjoy fishing, stand up Paddle Boarding, Canoeing, and Kayaking, or just kick back and drink in the sunset as you bury your toes in the sand. The tastefully furnished cottage comes with a plush queen size bed to enhance your beach getaway. Beach access is directly across the street. Excellent location, came with beach chairs and umbrella, & bikes. Kitchen needed more linens as well as bath. We had 3 bath towels. Kitchen needs sharp knife. Would def stay here again.

It was a great location we loved the short walk to the beach with the convenience of the crosswalk. It was tricky to spot coming in at night time but truly 10/10 would stay there again. The house is all you need if you love to spend most of your time on the beach or in walking distance of seasides fun activities.

I misunderstood one of the pictures associated with Sugaree. I thought the steps leading to the beach were right on or next to the property. They are not. So I was disappointed when we got there, as a beach vacation to me means being on the beach. I did adjust, and the beach is only a short block away, across 30A. Aside from that, and the unreliable wifi (it randomly disconnected in the middle of movies, podcasts, games, etc.) Sugaree is very enjoyable. Very clean, well furnished, and amply supplied.

Sugaree is the guest house as part of a larger property that includes a large main house and beautiful grove of trees in the front yard which creates a wonderful "screen", as this is directly on busy but convenient Hwy 30A. Road noise inside the house was not a problem. There's a parking spot between trees on the shoulder and my car was fine there. An entry gate takes you down a wooden boardwalk to the little house. There are 2 beach chairs and 2 bikes behind the house. They give you a code to access the key in a lockbox by the front door. Keep in mind this place is small and only accommodates one or two people (who sleep together, lol). You enter into the master bedroom with a gorgeous 4 poster queen size bed. There's a dresser (the drawers are a little wonky, might be time for the owners to upgrade :-). The master bath is also downstairs, right off the master bedroom, and is nicely remodeled in beach white with a spacious shower. Upstairs is a living room with loveseat (not a full sized couch and not a pulllout sofa) and one chair. There's a Juliet balcony; the view is all trees and there isn't space for a chair but the sliding glass door lets nice light into the room. There's a kitchen table for 2 and a small, pretty kitchen. Be warned, there is no dishwasher so you'll have to wash dishes the old fashioned way. But there's a full size frig, stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker and all the basic necessities. The window over the kitchen sink overlooks trees in the back and the driveway for the big house. I did have a problem with small bugs on the kitchen counters. I'm sure Management will take care of that. The best part of this place is location. You can easily walk to Cowgirl Kitchen for amazing food (til 3pm). There's a convenient crosswalk where traffic will politely stop to let you over to the other side of 30A where it's just a few steps to a boardwalk that takes you down to the beautiful white sand beaches and blue/green waters of the Emerald Coast. Seaside, Watercolor and Santa Rosa restaurants and social scenes are a short drive. I loved my Fall Break 2020 getaway in this adorable "tiny house"!!

My daughter & I stayed here for an extended weekend beach trip & had a blast! The place was extremely clean & uncluttered. We rode the two bikes provided & the beach entrance across the street was a 5 minute walk.

Quaint cottage
The location for this cottage is amazing. It took less than 5 mins to get to beach! The bedroom and bathroom are downstairs while the kitchen and living room are upstairs. There isn’t anything bad about it, just wasn’t expecting that. I would recommend this place to any couple staying. We enjoyed it!

July 2017 Stay
Great location and access to the beach. The unit was not ready when we arrived. We had to call the rental company due to fleas in the unit. Clearly someone had a pet. They came and sprayed, unfortunately there were still fleas. It was an inconvenience and felt dirty to me after this. The unit itself is cute and was perfect for the two of us. I most likely would book again. We had a great time!

We would highly recommend this spot! We had such an amazing week & everything was perfect. The beach was very quiet & felt like we were on our own private beach! We loved our little carriage house & would absolutely come back. The only suggestions we'd have: Include a mixing bowl in the kitchen & make sure hangers are in the closet. Additionally, we were so grateful for the complimentary bicycles, but one of the seats would not stay positioned & they didn't have lights for nighttime riding. Because Seagrove does not have street lights, we felt very unsafe at night! We just wished we could have had lights to let cars know when we were crossing the street & to see the sidewalks. Other than that, it was absolutely perfect! One of our best vacations together. Thank you!
