Brand new guest apartment overlooking the St Johns River on first floor of luxury 3 story home. Apartment has one bedroom with king bed 1 bath with a full kitchen and private dock with a 600 square foot porch. Boat dock is available with available boat excursions and Rental if arranged prior to arriving. Property borders the edge of the Ocala National Forest near several beautiful Springs . Juniper Springs, Silver Glen Springs, Alexander Springs, Salt Springs, and Ormond Beach are all within a 30 minute drive.

The suite was very comfortable and had everything we could want. The variety of snacks provided was a nice surprise. Our favorite "activity" was relaxing and enjoying watching the birds, alligators, and boat action on the creek and St. Johns River from the lanai. It was a great home base for short day trips to rediscover authentic Florida. We did not bring a boat, but this is a great place to stay if you have one. It's a boater and fishermen's paradise!

Well kept, comfortable accommodations. Hosts were friendly and helpful. Lovely views of the river. Within a mile if a market and an ice cream store. Close restaurants. Easy access to Volusia Speedway. Pizza delivery was available. We very much enjoyed our time there.

House is beautiful and the apartment was perfect for the two of us. Paul, who is a great guy, allowed us to use his boat house for our boat. Paul left us a good basket that we utilized for our days on the water. Everything was perfect! We will be back!

We enjoyed a lovely few days in Astor in Paul and Terry’s beautiful one bedroom suite. The waterfront location was fabulous and we enjoyed watching boats and wildlife cruise by on the Blue Creek and St. John’s River. Paul gave us great advice on things to do, and we had a great day swimming and kayaking at Silver Glen Spring. We can’t wait to go back!
