About this condo rental
Nestled in Missoula, this lovely condo for $168 per night is a great option for your next trip. The Babs Building was built in 1905 and has housed many of Missoula's colorful characters over the years. More recently, the building was completely updated into luxurious condos that provide it's occupants with immediate proximity to Missoula's downtown area. Unit 7 is recently remodeled and immaculate. The original wood floors were refinished and remain but everything else was tastefully redone in a manner that compliments the building's era of construction. Unit 7 is a well furnished 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom 630 square foot space within walking distance of everything Missoula has to offer. The unit has a fully furnished kitchen, comfortable living room with sleeper couch for extra guests, cable TV, wifi, and is one of the best locations in town. A washer and dryer are in the unit for additional convenience. Located on the Hip Strip, restaurants, coffee, and a brewery are steps away and downtown Missoula is less than a 5 minute walk. The University of Montana is only a 10 minute walk, making Unit 7 the perfect place to stay if you are visiting a student or cheering for the Grizzlies. New for 2020-21....we are implementing enhanced cleaning protocols.

The property was an old historic building that had been renovated. The condo was tastefully decorated and comfortable. The location was excellent. Walking distance to restaurants, bakeries, shops, and more. We are in our 70’s. We knew it was on 2nd floor with stairs but should have clarified. There were 3 flights— 1 to the 1st floor entrance , 2 to 2nd floor. Wife wears oxygen and a brace on knee. It was difficult to climb for her and get heavy luggage upstairs. No elevator. Also, street parking only. Very busy area. Often hard to find space close. Had to park 1 block on occasion. Hosts were very gracious to extend our unexpected longer stay.

Comfortable, clean and wonderful location. (We went inner tubing down the river, with the meeting point right near the place.) We, definitely, will stay here next time we are in town to visit our daughter, who attends college there.

This is our third stay at the Babs. The hosts are very responsive and friendly. It's obvious they want to create a welcoming atmosphere. The kitchen is well suited for cooking. Linens and bedding are comfy. We always have a lovely stay. Thanks again!

We were there during a heatwave and smokey conditions so the AC was needed but very loud. It got quite warm in the bedroom but the box fan helped. We really liked the property and would consider staying there again. Nice location, walking distance to downtown.

Splendid Getaway!
My daughter and I enjoyed our stay in Bab's Condo #7 very much! The location was excellent. Restaurants, shopping, and a path along the river were steps away. The condo was comfortable, well equipped, and very cute! I loved the convenience of having a washer and dryer available during our stay. I would stay here again for sure!

Check in was easy. The king bed was very comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans and appliances were top grade. Although the bathroom was small and retro, it was adequate. It was nice to have two bakeries within walking distance. A lovely walk across the bridge puts you in the center of Missoula activity.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Apt.7. We had our two little ones with us as well. You can't ask for a better location. We really enjoyed walking on the river trail and walking across the Higgins bridge to get downtown. The apartment was clean and cozy. :-)

Charming.
Excellent location, safe building and very quiet. It was well below freezing outside and I was warm and cozy. The condo had everything you need, very nicely decorated and a comfortable bed. Good instructions for the renters and very clean as well.

Love the Babs!
We have stayed in the Babs several times. We like to return to it everytime we visit Missoula. It's all about location, location, location! You can't beat it if you want walking distance to downtown, restaurants, the university, etc. etc. Our unit #7 is roomy and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking meals in during longer stays. Parking can be troublesome, but definitely not a deal breaker. We love staying here.

Perfect get away condo in the center of Hip Strip.
My husband and I enjoyed staying in this perfect get away condo in the center of Hip Strip while spending at few days in Missoula to watch our daughter race mountain bikes at Marshal Mountain for UCI College Nationals. The condo had all the amenities needed, but in easy walking distance to many great eateries that any foodie would love. Will definitely be back.

We could not be any happier with our stay here in unit 7 of the Babs! All the reviews were spot on. Lydia was wonderful to work with! The place was stocked with everything you can think of, the location was the best, and it was decorated perfectly! We had a wonderful trip to Missoula and feel very fortunate to have found this gem of a place! Hope to come back soon.

Well equipped apartment in super location
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Missoula and this apartment was well set up with everything we needed. The owners were also very helpful if we needed anything. The location was ideal and we rode our bicycles all over town. We would certainly stay there again, if back in town.

Comfortable, Clean and Convenient in Missoula
My wife and I enjoyed our 5 night stay in early August. It was our first trip to Missoula. We attended the Travelers' Rest music festival. The bed and furnishings were quite comfortable. The apartment was clean and included supplies that were more than adequate. Lydia, the host, was gracious and willing to assist if needed. The temperatures were hot during the day (we used the air conditioner and were comfortable) and cool and pleasant at night (open windows/2nd floor worked out great.) Nearby, we enjoyed walking trails, restaurants, pubs and breweries. Parking was not an issue as a space was always available, either in front of the building, or less than a block away. Nearby and within walking distance, we explored outdoor music, food trucks, a farmer's market, a microbrewery, and a great walking trail near the river. It seemed like everyone we met was very friendly, both locals and customer service people. If possible, find time to explore the Imagine Nation Brewery, University of Montana campus, Rockin Rudy's (lots of fun, local and quirky stuff there), Bernice's Bakery (amazing coffee and pastries!), Iza Pan-Asian restaurant (Sake and beer happy hour!), Jeannette Rankin Peace Center, and the river trail system. If you have a car and some time, drive north for a day trip to Flat Head Lake Brewery and try True North Hoppy Lager (really good!). The food and lake views are excellent. Along the way and back you will find beautiful views of mountains, forest and the scenic Flat Head Lake. There are numerous places to pick up some flat head cherries too. Overall, we had a happy, fun and comfortable stay.

Loved staying at the Bab’s number 7. Very clean and comfortable. Convenient to shopping, restaurants and parks. When in town, I most definitely will seek out this cozy one bedroom apartment.

We felt very lucky to have found this place. It was stocked with absolutely everything we might have needed. And the location was fantastic. If we ever revisit Missoula there is no where else we would stay.

Wonderful apartment in a prime spot for walking in Missoula.
This was our base camp for four days of exploring in and around Missoula (early June 2018). The building has been so beautifully updated, and the hosts have the place stocked for ease and comfort. Lydia was great about staying in touch about details and we couldn't have been happier overall with our experience. Parking is a bit limited but we managed to find a spot each time we came and went. VERY nearby businesses include an Italian restaurant, breakfast spot, a pizza place, coffee shop, a taco place with great breakfast burritos (perfect pre-hiking fare) and a taproom for a post hike beer--not to mention a gas station. And all downtown Missoula has to offer is just a short and scenic walk over the bridge. We were happy campers. Thanks, Lydia!
