About this house rental
Our waterfront home has a magnificent view of the Caribbean Sea. Totally secluded, it's merely steps away from the crystal clear water. The elevated porch offers panoramic views of Balara Bay, Cupid's Cay, Levi Island, unbelievable sun rises, and spectacular sunset vistas.
Caribbean Blue has an open, airy feel to it and is tastefully decorated in a tropical theme equipped with all the amenities to ensure a comfortable stay. The house has two bedrooms: 2 masters with attached bathrooms. Enjoy paradise lounging beside the seaside, sipping a frozen concoction as the aquamarine water soothes your soul.
Easy access to the water is available from the property for fabulous snorkeling on Balara Bay. There is fishing right off the property for grouper and snapper. Levi Island is directly across from the house and is one of the island's bone fishing hot spots.
Governor's Harbour is a small, quiet town on the Family Island of Eleuthera, offering a collection of distinctive colonial homes, historic churches, and colorful Bahamian buildings.
You will find all the services you need in town: grocery stores, gift shops, post office, banks, gas stations, liquor stores, an internet cafe, and bakery. There are also several good local restaurants to chose from and a few local bars.
There are no casinos or flashy nightclubs on Eleuthera; the island has a sedate, relaxed atmosphere.
The island of Eleuthera is 110 miles long and is, on average, only two miles wide. The entire island is ringed by spectacular beaches, most of which are hidden and totally secluded.
There are many interesting settlements up and down the island. In addition, you will be able to enjoy fabulous fishing (deep sea and bone fishing), snorkeling and scuba diving, shelling, or you can just relax on the elevated porch.

Romantic seclusion at its finest! Staring out at the blue water, never saw a single soul our entire trip. Great snorkeling out front of house. Been coming to Eleuthera for many years and this is one of the best stocked houses! Coolers, inner tubes, beach umbrella, beach chairs. Only warning is the road to the house is rough, we actually parked at the top of hill because of washout at the bottom seemed too rough to handle. We ordered cocktails to be delivered to house (CocoJo’s) and she made us meet her at Queen’s highway because she didn’t want to venture down the road because of ruts. High clearance SUV mandatory. Even with the rough road would be back for the peaceful seclusion.

The property was extremely clean, and the host was great to communicate with. The location is perfect—very close to restaurants, stores, and several beautiful beaches. We would absolutely stay here again.

Very clean and all was in order and as described! We enjoyed many meals on the screened in porch and evening fishing from the oceanside gazebo.

The vacation of a lifetime, The Caribbean Blue offered my wife and I all the necessities of home and the seclusion of a tropical resort. We are going to book another week so we can experience all the enjoyments that we didnt have time to experience. Bring a lot of defrag time, you will enjoy!
