Escape to the unspoiled beaches of Figure Eight Island & enjoy the panoramic views from the Tree House.
You'll be on the highest spot on the island so nothing will obstruct the breath taking 360 degree view of the crystal clear blue ocean, white sandy beaches, intra-coastal waterway or the beautiful sound filled with wildlife. You can enjoy kayaking, paddle boarding, claming, crabbing & fishing off the PRIVATE dock which is located behind the cottage. You have your own walk way down to the dock. There is also a sitting area which is a great area to gather. You are directly across the street from a beach path. So you have the best of both worlds. You can get to the beach but only the lucky families that have their own boat dock can get to the sound & enjoy all that it has to offer.
Easy living is what figure 8 Island is all about.There are only single family homes on Figure 8 & nothing commercial. It is only 3 miles to shopping & restaurants. This way you have the island to yourself, no crowds, no noise except the waves lapping the beach or a bird singing. Enjoy biking the island, best way to see the island. The road ways on the island are residential, neighborhood streets. NO highways, no 3-4 lane roads & no traffic lights. You just slow down & enjoy a slower pace of life.

All good. Some insects and some rooms had a musty smell. Seems there was a leak coming from upstairs bathroom.

What a wonderful property. The house has spectacular views of both the ocean and the marsh. And the dock is a great place to crab and kayak from.

Great location with easy access to beach and best views of both beach and sound. Nice deck, living area and kitchen on top floor but could use additional seating to accommodate a family of 8. Need better lighting in living room for readers - two outlets near the couch sparked when lamps were plugged in so we were afraid to use them. Internet was spotty at beginning of week and then went out completely on Wednesday morning. Owner had it repaired on Thursday midday. Overall bedrooms/bathrooms were fine but tired. Bedroom near front door had bathroom with peeling wallpaper, bad lighting and weak shower head.
