Me and my wife had a great stay! Views were amazing. Would love to make it an annual trip

The weekend went as planned, check in and communication went well. The place was as described. A secluded cabin in the woods nearby to Hocking Hills State Park was just what we needed for a getaway. All the amenities made the stay even better and we will go back hopefully soon. Thank you Ian and Keith!

The treehouse was a great spot for my friend, and I to spend some time away from our busy lives just to relax, and be close to some pretty amazing hiking, and fall colors!
5.0
We loved our stay at this beautiful treehouse. The fall colors were a gorgeous thing to wake up to first thing in the morning, we could see them through the large windows. It was a very comfortable treehouse with heat, a full bathroom, a comfy bed, and a nice couch. We were able to make some food in the kitchen using the toaster oven and mini crockpot. The treehouse is secluded and private, you really feel like you’re in your own little oasis, but you can be at Hocking Hills in 20 minutes.

Our trip was very nice. We were lucky to have perfect weather. The cabin is very cute and clean. However, it is quite tight, but the dimensions are mentioned on the VRBO overview. We were a little unsure what all was provided in the cabin as the site we were using didn't list everything. Just as an fyi... Keurig with pods are provided, dish cloths, dish soap, garbage bags. No stove or microwave. There is a toaster oven, hot plate and small fridge. There is a fire pit with a bench to sit on...lots of wood around to use. Also, a small table with a couple of chairs on the deck. There is a very well-done binder in the cabin listing all appliances, equipment and details how to use! Loved the organization! Also in the binder was a list of restaurant recommendations and "things to do". You will love this cabin...as mentioned earlier, be prepared to be cozy!!!

This was a perfect weekend stay near Hocking Hills. I loved the seclusion of the property and it had everything that we needed. It rained the morning of our last day, the sound of the tin roof made me not want to leave.

Small but with plenty of amenities. And not as small as I expected. Absolutely lovely and peaceful. We left once to go to the grocery store! Hope to go back!

This was the perfect getaway spot for a short trip to Hocking Hills. Change your whole perspective of rustic with this charming, every amenity you need, modern cabin in the woods. The cabin doesn't disappoint, from the wrap around deck to the full shower to the Bluetooth speakers. You have everything you need for your stay. We had omelets in the morning and toppoed off the night stargazing. The attention to detail took it from quaint to unforgettable. I highly recommend this treehouse and will stay again if we are in the area.

This tiny house is truly unique--you feel like you're living within the trees. The all around deck and windows make this a truly special place.

Cozy little treehouse cabin that’s perfect for a weekend escape. We had everything we needed and were only a 12 minute drive from some of the pet friendly hiking trails! Would definitely recommend, especially if you have a fur baby you want to bring along :)

Wonderful tree house to stay while visiting Hocking Hills. So peaceful!
Anything and everything you need to cook with, even more than what is said in the listing. Love that it is pet friendly! Would definitely book again!

Cabin was exactly as I hoped. Small and quiet cabin. Clean and everything with the owner was as easy as can be.

Good stay. Could have used info on how to control outside lights. The tiny treehouse had everything we needed. This is perfect for a couple.

5 Stars - Great little cabin surrounded by beautiful wilderness. This is not a complaint by any means - just my feedback to the owners on what would help guests plan their trip: It would be helpful if even more details were provided on the cooking-related ammenities. Just one example: I knew there would be a grill but didn't know it was electric (it worked GREAT!) so I needlessly packed a big bag of charcoal. Another little example: There is a campfire pie iron in the cabin which made me wish I had brought bread & pie filling. These are just a few examples. An extensive list of all the kitchen items & cooking tools would be a bonus. So, not knowing exactly what would be in the kitchen, I packed things I didn't need while neglecting to bring things I wish I had. Oh, one more little thing: There was only 1 wash cloth for 2 adults for 2 days. Not a huge deal....I know I could have called for more but I just used a big towel as a wash cloth instead. Anyway, GREAT little cabin. I highly recommend & would stay again. Thank you.

Upon our arrival, getting into the cabin went well. It's a small cabin with a very neat setting. The back sliding door however wouldn't open. The owner happened to be on site mowing and saw us arrive and made contact. He immediately began looking into why the door wouldn't work and after about 30 minutes of us working on it, we got it working. On our second night, we got driven out by a sewer gas smell. The owner immediately put us up in another cabin(which had its own issues). By the time he got there the next morning, the smell was gone and he could not figure what had caused it. We chose to stay in the other cabin for the remainder of our trip so we didn't have another late night sewer gas issue. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but there were a few too many issues with both cabins that we stayed at. The owner was great at communicating and trying to resolve issues though. The cabins were generally clean but there were cobwebs in areas of both cabins along with other minor issues such as coffee maker cleanliness and cooking appliance cleanliness. I absolutely loved the very private setting of both cabins.

My wife and I stayed at the treehouse for five nights in late September while hiking in various Hocking Hills state parks and forests. We really looked forward to getting back to the treehouse at the end of each hiking day!
We did have an issue with the heating system on one evening/morning (there are two different back-ups available at the treehouse so we were able to keep the unit warm as the outside temperature was in the 40s) . The property owner's father showed up within a couple of hours of our call and addressed the issue as well as keeping us informed of his progress. Excellent service!
This is a very small unit. It is as advertised that way, but be prepared for the fact that it is indeed small.
Although you can cook some basic food with the hot plate, tabletop oven, small fridge and small outdoor grill, you will be limited. We decided before going that we were going to eat out and now worry about cooking. Glad we did, and there are some excellent restaurants in the area (Jack's Steakhouse, Millstone BBQ, Kindred Spirits at the Inn & Spa are the ones we visited and really liked). I recommend taking some snacks, beverages and breakfast pastries and leave the main meals to the local restaurants.
Would definitely go back as the peace and quiet, view and local parks/forests were awesome!

Near all the hiking, very secluded, great if you have a dog...there is a very Large area that is mowed with fire pit and bench. Great area to play with your dog, play frisbee or lawn games. There is a deck all around the tree house ..We put our totes at entrance of deck so our dog could hang out on deck and not wander off. It is a tree house so it is small but cozy. The lights leading to the tree house , around and underneath are really nice.
The fridge wasn't working..the owner immediately bought another one and brought it over. Owner is readily available, helpful and very nice.
Restuarants, grocery stores close at 8 so have some food if you arrive late.

Everything was beautiful, nice and quite. Great relaxing get away. Only one little negative, there wasn't a window you could open so you could sit and listen to nature in the evening

Great stay in the trees
We loved the treehouse. It was a great location for visiting the Hocking Hills State Park. The property was very cozy. We loved the outdoor deck. The shower was awesome and the place even had a wine cooler. There is no stove but the grill and hot plate allowed us to cook. The Kierig was great for quick coffee. The pillows could use an upgrade . The only thing we missed was ice. The fridge is small but perfectly fine but the freezer section wasn’t able to freeze ice.
We highly recommend this place. It was just the getaway we were looking for!

We stayed at this little house in the trees 5/14/22-5/19/22. It was as described with a few small exceptions. The mood lighting in the main living area is unavailable, but who cares!...Look outside! Gorgeous! The shower mood lighting works, but I had to put a battery in the remote for that to happen. We had a couple of small issues that the Owners took care of immediately. They answered our call right away, came right out, and were super friendly! Also gave us some good tips on where to eat in the area. We loved the location so close to the Hocking Hills State Park and Conkle Hollows Recreation area. The deck was our retreat at the end of 4 days of hiking each day! Loved sitting in the tree tops with a glass of wine, listening to all of the birds singing and we could hear Whippoorwills at night! Truly the Owners were fantastic and the rental is beautiful! I wouldn't hesitate to stay again! We were blessed with beautiful weather and, as early risers, very few people on the trails in mid-May! Great time to stay! Wonderful get-away from it all! Definitely unique and worth it!

Although not actually attached to any trees, it's nestled in the trees on stilts and you get the impression of being in a treehouse. The interior is very modern and comes with everything you need for a great getaway. It has a rather small frig so plan according. As noted in other recent reviews, the remote for the TV is still missing and the interior could use a overall cleaning (mostly dust) but would not keep us from returning for another visit. By chance, we met one of the owners and they have some other unique properties they plan to construct and we're looking forward to staying in one of those in the future, but really enjoyed the "Treehouse". There is no WIFI and carrier signals are pretty weak. You can make calls and text messages but don't plan on using internet.

Great location, wonderful view! Sunrise and birds were marvelous. Loved the lighted path and under lighting of the trees at night. However the treehouse lacked in cleanliness and supplies. 2 thin bath towels, no wash cloths or soap for shower.

The treehouse was an amazing retreat. Excrement panoramic views. Perfect little getaway. A few MINOR problems that were cleared up very quickly. Great communication with the house as he answered and fixed the problem with the broken dvd player right away. Also not all the mood lighting worked. The advertised lighting in the kitchen didn't work and the mood lighting for the bathroom didn't work.
