It is a spacious 1 bedroom, 1 bath unit with fully equipped kitchen and use of private rear yard. Located in a historical neighborhood in close proximity to Churchill Downs, St James Art Show, Yum Center, Expo Center and all downtown activities. 5 minutes from airport. This unit has a King Size Bed. Flat screen TV with cable and Wi-Fi provided. USB charging station at breakfast bar. Keurig Coffee maker provided with an assortment of coffee. Owner lives on site and will be available if needed.

Wish i had more time to explore in the daylight but i love the history in the home and surrounding area. The folder cheryl had put together about the life story of the house was great. The apt was very nice with everything you would need for the stay.

If I could give this more Stars, I would. Everything was perfect and neat as a pin. I particularly loved the bed linens. The owner thought of everything a guest might need. The temperature inside was perfect and the seating area outside was wonderful. The property is very well maintained and it's obvious that great care was taken to preserve this beautiful old house. We will return!

Comfortable accommodations close to downtown and U of L. Lovely private butterfly garden. Would stay again. Grand old house with excellent host and house history. Must be able to climb up and down stairs. Parking was a breeze. Architecture in the area is wonderful and there are some walkable locations to get diner food and pizza during daylight hours.

We stayed here for a long weekend and it was perfect! The space was very clean, had all necessary amenities and even some extra. We didn’t cook any meals but there were enough dishes to comfortably cook a meal if needed. Location is great, short drive to all downtown neighborhoods and Old Louisville was fun to walk around and see the old architecture. I would definitely recommend staying here!

My husband and I have stayed here at least 4-5 times and, obviously, we keep coming back. The house is perfectly located near the city center but in a quiet neighborhood. The apartment is so clean and comfortable with all you would need for a stay-at-home visit cooking in or simply a great place to rest/sleep. I like it thot the wonderful host, Cheryl, is on site. In shorts, it’s a great place!

What a nice place. Older, refurbished upstairs apartment. It was very quiet and everything you need is there. We have stayed in many VRBO places, but this one was exceptional in cleanliness!! If you can do steep stairs, this one is great!

The efficiency is clean with everything working as it should. The TV was easy to use. Downtown Louisville with the museums and parks are 5-10 minutes from the house, as are restaurants on Bardstown Road.

Great location and airy space. Renters need to know that you are on the second floor with additional stairs at front door entry. Not for those with certain physical limitations.
Hopefully the owner will have a new mattress on the otherwise comfortable king bed in the near future. Everything else great!

We really enjoyed our stay. Parking was easily accessible, distance from down town was only a short 10 minute drive. The unit was clean and tidy. The host had several small touches that made the it feel homey

Simple check in with easy private access. This is a beautiful and meticulously clean home with great access to the old downtown area. The home has free on street parking with great availability. We really enjoyed our stay here. Very quiet and comfortable!!

This is a good location from which you can get to most tourist venues in about 7 minutes. House has been broken into four apartments. This unit is on the second floor and includes a big bedroom, kitchen and bathroom. It is very clean and has all that you need. We had a great stay.

Truly such a great experience! The bed was SO comfy, we slept great! There were extra blankets, tons of clean towels, creamer and toiletries. Every single piece of bedding/ towels smelled so good and fresh, and we loved being so close to so many restaurants and hikes!
The only reason we gave 3 stars for location is because the neighboring homes had bad yards and within a mile or two there are lots of abandoned places, but we felt perfectly safe inside the home!
It literally had vaccuum lines in the entry way and on the stairs!
