It is a cozy 1 bedroom unit with a private entrance. Updated and complete with all the amenities needed for your getaway. Fully equipped kitchen includes Keurig Coffee Maker and microwave. Tranquil bedroom overlooking back yard garden with a comfy queen size bed. Enjoy soaking in the claw foot tub with bath salts and fizz bombs. Tub does have a shower as well. Very cute and nicely decorated 1 bedroom apartment. It has to be one of the cleanest places I’ve ever stayed. Cheryl had everything we needed and it was very easy to get around either on foot or by Uber. Would recommend!

Thank you for sharing your home with us. This area of Louisville is spectacular for walking and appreciating the homes of the era. Delightful surprise for us. Also a quick 10 minute drive to great restaurants and shopping.
The apartment was spotless with a clean fresh scent and well appointed. As a side note the bath towels were the best I have encountered!! Coffee and water provided on your arrival. I would highly recommend this home.

Old Louisville is a great location--very much enjoyed walking around the neighborhood looking at all of the Victorian architecture. The rental is perfectly located to drive to Downtown as well Bardstown Rd and NULU (you will need a car but there is plenty of street parking--I never had a problem finding a spot just outside of the house). Felt safe as a single women traveler and will recommend to my friends.

Enjoyed our stay
This was the perfect place for our derby weekend. The bed was amazing to fall into after two long days at Churchill. I actually missed it when I got home and realized I might need some new pillows at the very least. We had plenty of space to fulfill our needs and were very comfortable. Our host Cheryl was very welcoming, communicative, and even lent me some superglue to fix an earring emergency. 😊 Easy access to Churchill and other sites.

Beats a hotel
Lovely little apartment in beautiful building and beautiful neighborhood. Amazingly quiet. I was nervous about the street parking, but it was ample. I was in and out several times and always had "my" same spot directly across the street from the house. Cheryl was very helpful at check-in. Apartment was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. HIghly recommend!

Beautiful Stay In Old Louisville
Definitely one of the loveliest properties we had stayed in. It’s immaculately decorated and clean and it had all the ammenities one needs for a perfect and comfortable home away from home stay. Loved the backyard garden area. Great location to where I needed to be and only a stones throw away from the airport. Super easy check in and check out process. So pleased to have found it, made my short visit to Louisville just that much better. Will definitely look to return next time I’m in town.

We came dowm for Bourbon and beyond. This is a wonderful place, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The kitchen and bath are well supplied with anything you might need. The whole place is well done and extremely clean and inviting. About a $5 uber to anywhere.

Best Louisville Experience
Wow! First of all, I would love to thank Cheryl for being the most hospitable host for our 5 days spent in her apartment. From allowing me to ship my goods to her place prior to arriving, to all the amenities that were inside once we opened the door. We could not have asked for a better place to be.
Here are the details: We stayed here over Derby weekend, so we were in and out A LOT. The location of the apartment was completely central (about a $10 Uber ride) to Churchill Downs, the airport, downtown and Bardstown. We also found the apartment stocked with drinks, snacks, toiletries, hair dryer and a very comfortable bed (which we kind of just fell into after being out all day), which made it very convenient as well. Cheryl made sure to let us know to look around if we needed anything, which made us feel extremely comfortable. The neighborhood was very quiet and made for great sightseeing.
I would absolutely stay here again if we come back to Louisville because I know we would be taken care of. :)

Comfortable, Clean, convenient location
We liked staying here. It was reasonably priced and the location was great. Loved all the cool buildings in the neighborhood. The bed was super comfy. The toilet was in a small closet-type room adjacent to the bedroom/sitting area, so if you require a lot of privacy, this might be an issue. We didn't mind. Loved the old clawfoot tub. The space was small but attractive with nice colors and light, with a full kitchen. Our only small complaint was that the loveseat in the living room area wasn't terribly comfortable.

Comfortable stay on a beautiful October weekend
We loved the cozy charm of this upstairs apartment with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Cheryl came out to meet us as we arrived. Such a great location. Close to pretty much everything. Loved the unique character of all the homes in this historic area of the Louisville.

This was my second stay at this property. Cheryl exceeds all needs to make the stay comfortable and inviting. Both apartments are well appointed for both long and short term stays. As a business traveler, it's nice to get out of hotel and into something more like home. Thank you, Cheryl!

Gorgeous apartment! Cheryl met us at the door when we arrived and showed us around! Lots of nice little touches like extra towels, Keurig coffee maker, coffee and creamers! Even bottles of water in the refrigerator! I would definitely recommend staying here instead of a hotel❤️

This place is in Old Louisville and the surrounding neighborhood isn’t the greatest but the place was really nice and clean. Owner was very nice and easy to work with. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

wonderful stay!
My son and I were in Louisville for the Robotics VEX World competition which was held at the Kentucky Expo Center 4/29-5/2. The owner was easy to work with. The house is just 5 minutes a from the Kentucky Expo Center which was so convenient for us as we have a very early start each day at 7:30am-6:30pm before we get back to the house. It's also a very easy drive to downtown Louisville to meet up with son's group of friends who stayed there. The inside is cozy and had everything we needed for our stay. I only had an issue with sleeping the first night as it's a little close to the highway and planes flying but got use to it after. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are back!

This apartment was perfect for us. The location was great and the street was quiet. Cheryl was very hospitable and we felt right at home. Everything was clean and beautiful. We talked about the history of the house the whole time we were there. Thanks for making our first visit so memorable.

Really enjoyed our stay
We enjoyed our stay in Historic Old Louisville. This was our first time in Louisville, and we hope to stay here again if we get a chance to come back! The kitchen was nicely (and more generously than most other VRBO's) stocked with items needed for a stay. Very comfortable and while we did not meet the owner Cheryl, it was nice to know she was available if we needed help or had questions. Parking was pretty easy to find...and we had two cars to park since we both drove. Our late arrival was handled seamlessly. All in all a wonderful experience!

Historic Victorian
Cheryl was a perfect host. The rental was on the 2nd story of her Victorian home. The rental was clean and cozy. Cheryl was very helpful with dinning suggestions and places to walk in the neighborhood. She suggested we go to Churchill Downs and it was one of the highlights of our trip. We loved staying in this historic home. The decor and furnishings were tasteful and comfortable. The history provided was interesting! A list of menus and maps for area attractions were provided and we relied on that heavily. Thank you!

Great Neighborhood for a Stay in Louisville
We stayed in Louisville over Thanksgiving. Cheryl's place was so convenient for everything we did. Her place is set up very comfortably, and if we had any questions about anything, Cheryl was just a text away and with a quick reply. This was true even on Thanksgiving Day! She also had great suggestions about places to try out and go to. The only problem for me was the stairs (having arthritis in both knees)...climbing up and down was a little bit of a challenge, but I would stay there again in a heartbeat!
