About this cottage rental
Situated in Oceanside Village, this lovely cottage for $147 per night is a great option for your next break. Relax and enjoy your vacation time in well equipped, close to the beach, three bedroom, one and a half bath cottage in a private cul de sac on Jacana. Recently remodeled with, updates like new flooring, kitchen cabinets and countertops, along with a new full bath, will allow you to enjoy morning coffee or afternoon cocktails on the screened in front porch as you enjoy the breezy setting for this cozy home. Supplied with all the conveniences including staple items like paper towels, trash bags and TP for a family, the home can handle everything from a barbecued steak, a blender of Pina Coladas, a bag of microwave popcorn or a batch of homemade cookies. With one level living, and the open floor plan, the home is great for seniors and families with youngsters. In addition, guests get linen and towel use, or simply bring your own and use the full-size washer and dryer when needed. Amuse the young ones with the new 42' flat screen or the other cable TV. HDMI connections allow streaming of Netflix or other computer video files right on the TV. Select a DVD/blue ray for quiet times or family viewing. With just a 5-minute walk to the beach, enjoy the use of either of the 2 bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas, fishing poles, skim boards, snorkeling flippers, sand toys and other beach equipment there for use. The open-air outdoor shower is a treat for sandy beach goers, and the golf cart offers convenient parking at the beach with a lot less clean up when sand makes its way to the family vehicle. Others may simply enjoy either of the two village pools, and not to mention the Tupelo Bay golf center just across the street. If you're sharing your vacation time with others, the home has accommodations for two vehicles for off street parking, so more than one couple can enjoy this great vacation site. This home is exactly as advertised. Michael sent a very detailed and informational video for an introduction to the property and how to navigate in the gated community. I had a small issue and Michael addressed it with immediacy and checked on it again the following day. I could not have asked for a better experience. I plan to rent the same property next year!

Wonderful little beach house that's extremely close to the beach. You can leisurely walk there in just a few minutes. Or get there right away, with all of your gear, on the provided golf cart. The property was clean, and the neighborhood was quiet. Great amenities at the house. Plenty of things to do in Oceanside Village. The owner was kind, and communicated well.

We enjoyed our stay. The owners were wonderful to deal with. Prompt to respond. The location was great being on a cul-de-sac and also close to the beach. Quiet and away from the noise of it all. The screened porch was a lovely place to have morning coffee. We could walk to the beach or ride the bikes or use the golf cart! There were plenty of chairs to use too. Even though things were not in perfect condition, we appreciated having the use of so many "toys".

We loved staying in this home. It was wonderful being able to include our dogs on this vacation…thank you for allowing them! The owner was great, got back to me quick anytime we communicated. This house is on a cul-du-sac and it’s so quite. Bedrooms were kind of small, but you don’t need much room on a vacation. The beds were amazing, they were so comfortable (I’m thinking of replacing my mattress at home now! Lol) The proximity to the beach, use of the golf cart and community amenities were best features. We used the golf cart to explore the community, go to the pool(s) and take our dogs for rides…plus lugging equipment to the beach! The golf cart was a bit noisy and like some of the other reviews mentioned, the bunk bed bottom bed is very squeaky, but other than that…everything was great. Would definitely recommend.

Michael was wonderful and always answered all my questions quickly. We loved the location being so close to the beach and the use of the golf cart was the topping on the cupcake. They even have a special parking lot on the beach for just Oceanside guests! He has beach chairs, umbrellas, bikes, trash bags, toilet tissue, everything you need. We brought a lot of our own items and really didn’t need to. We also brought our little dachshund with us and he loved the front porch. (We did too). The home is small but it was perfect for us. It was such an easy check in/out process (love that the key is already at the house waiting) and the video he sent for us to watch had ALL the information we needed. We definitely want to come back!!

We decided to visit friends for the holidays and booked the house a week before the trip. The owner was very helpful and the house was just as described. We were able to bring our dog along which is important to us. The owner provided bedding and towels which made it easier for us. The kitchen was well equipped, the house was close to our friends and we felt at home. Would definitely recommend this house to others. Thanks for a great stay!

We found the property well-equipped and as advertised. We had one issue that needed attention, and communication with the owner was prompt and courteous. Would have liked to have been able to take the golf cart off property, but it was convenient to use to go to pool area and beach parking. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and were pleased.

It has a nice screened in porch and private patio. It has a lot of seating areas in and outside the house. It is a gated community, so plan on finding the front gate first so you can get in.

We stayed at this house with our four kiddos, for my son's birthday. It's equipped with everything that you would need for your stay, including beach toys, chairs, umbrella, and golf cart! The two community pools/splash pad/playground available we're super fun for afternoon outings.
We decided not to rent a car, and got Lyfts from the airport for about $25. We were able to have groceries delivered and biked for the few things we needed. Everyone was super friendly and helpful around the community. We were off season, but the Conch Cafe (our favorite) is right next to the entrance of the beach.
The house was amazing, the porch was relaxing and the owners were responsive and super friendly. Check in and out was easy. We'll definitely be back!!!

It's ok but when I get there the first time when I open the door and enter the house I find a cigarette butt in the living room, during my stay I have to kill like 4 big roaches. The bunk bed make a lot of sound and its like it's going to fall in pieces any time. Nobody want to sleep in the top bed, because they was scare to fall in the top of the one in the bottom. The dryer took to much time to dry. The rest was ok. If they fix all that it's a good house to stay, just need a little more of love.

This was our third time staying here. Michael has such an amazing place. He has everything you could need for your stay. The golf cart is the icing on the cake. It makes going to the beach as a family so much easier. Michael is a great host, who us very easily to communicate with. Thank you for such am amazing week!! We had a wonderful week staying at Michael’s house in Oceanside Village. The house was immaculately clean, and was stocked with everything you would need. The included golf cart was great for carrying all of our gear to the beach. But the house is literally a less than 5 minute walk to the beach. Our daughter especially enjoyed the screened in porch for reading and relaxing. Michael was great to deal with. Got back very quickly to any questions we had, and even has a 20 minute video explaining everything you need to know about the rental. It is not a huge house, and the bedrooms are on the small side,but there was plenty of room for myself, my wife, our adult daughter and another couple. I already miss the outdoor shower. We hope to return again next year for our week in Myrtle Beach

The house is nestled in a cul-de-sac. It is quiet. Michael has an excellent video that gives great information about the property. He is fair and kind. I would rent front him again.

House was just a described. Came with use of a golf cart and is pet friendly also! House was clean and nothing to complain about. 1 indoor shower and 1 outdoor shower available. Could be interesting if you have a large group. Less than a 30 second golf cart ride to the beach!
