Located in Dry Fork, this charming cabin for $180 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. *Attention Cabin has a max. limit of 2 adults , due to lack of professional maids and an HOA request. Winter months ~ 4-wheel drive and/or snow chains please! Precious, cottage-style cabin is perfect for those who are looking to get away from the city stresses. "Sunset cabin" offers an amazing tranquil, mountain setting. We are constantly upgrading and changing out decor to make our cabin inviting and comfortable! Pictures may not always reflect the same decor. Located in a private community with approximately 17 homes all spread out on at least 4 acres plus! Once you check-in to this cabin you may not want to leave! Unwind on the front porch with a glass of clean spring mt. water and take in the fresh mt. air. This might be what your soul needs to get rejuvenated after a hectic work week. 'Sunset cabin' has one of the best views of the beautiful Appalachian Mountain range around! It is positioned for you to capture some of the most spectacular sunsets and sunrises in between the mountains! The hot tub makes this cabin great for honeymooners or those who want to celebrate anniversaries. The cabin also has an outdoor fire pit and a charcoal grill for your enjoyment. Stepping inside the cabin you will enjoy a large wood burning Stone fireplace. We provide enough logs for you to enjoy a couple nights by the fire. However, please bring kindling-wood or a box of fire starters logs to get you going😊 "Sunset cabin" has one private bedroom with an extra comfy Queen size bed for a peaceful night sleep: in addition to a loft with two double beds. Kitchen is fully equipped with the basics; dishes; pots and pans etc. Additionally, we have, a crock pot, blender, electric hand mixer, microwave, coffee bean grinder and of course a basic coffee pot as well as a Keurig. Naturally, there is plenty to do for the outdoor enthusiast! Hiking, golfing, hunting, stream fishing, mt. biking, rock climbing, skiing, horseback riding, nature viewing, star gazing etc... But you don't have to do anything...you may just want to relax and enjoy all that nature provides around this special cozy cabin! It should be noted this cabin is located in a private subdivision, mostly secondary homeowners. All homes are on at least 4 plus acres and spaced out for privacy! Sunset cabin is located on 6 plus acres. Keywords: Rustic but refined, cottage-style Cabin for those lovers of West Virginia's gorgeous mountain ranges, sunsets, and star gazers! Great for honeymooners and anniversary celebrations! We showed up in a snowstorm and they had the driveway shoveled and ready for us. The road was maintained adequately for 4x4 travel the entire stay. Everything in the cabin worked well and suited our needs. It snowed and blowed the entire time so we mostly just stayed in and laid around the fireplace like a couple of hogs. When we did decide to go drive around, the roads were fair most of the time. There wasn’t much to do except get sideways and eat fudge from the general store in Seneca Rocks. The views and countryside were beautiful with the snow everywhere. The cabin looks out over a hillside with several other cabins off in the distance. The property owners are in a cabin right across the street which is nice if you need anything. Highly recommend this cabin to stay in.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sunset Cabin. The cabin was perfect with an incredible view and has everything you need. We enjoyed using the indoor fire place and the hot tub as well. We will definitely be back.

Took a couple days get away with my husband to relax. The cabin was perfect. Views were amazing. We loved relaxing by the fireplace and evenings in the hot tub. Hosts were wonderful as well. Brought us fresh eggs and checked if we needed anything from the store since its a 20 min drive out. So thoughtful. Will definitely wound love to come back.

The cabin is amazing. The views are amazing. It snowed while we were there and it was like a winter wonderland - I honestly don't think I've ever seen anything so beautiful! The cabin is so well appointed - Dan and Barb have truly gone above and beyond to make this cabin so comfy and cozy - little things so considerate that I've never seen before in a VRBO rental like tissues in every room, flashlights by the bed, night lights in the outlets, etc. We so enjoyed our stay at Sunset Cabin and hope to revisit again some day. Thanks for sharing your little slice of heaven, Dan and Barb! 💜

Due to confusion with the owners, our stay ended up being at the Morning Glory cabin. This cabin is newer and beautiful. There was not much of a view which I was disappointed with. We did not utilize the hot tub but enjoyed having a fire in the fireplace. It is a great place to stay if you are hiking Red Creek in Dolly Sods, as the trailhead is very close. There is no cell signal which is nice to unplug. All in all it was a nice place.

The cabin had everything you could possibly need. A gorgeous mountain top setting, beautiful views, a warm fireplace and hot tub to use if you want after a day of strenuous hiking. The stars at night are in the millions. The hosts are extremely helpful and friendly. This was our third stay here and we are already planning next years visit.

This place was so much better than expected. The views were absolutely amazing! Dan and Barbara were very thoughtful and accommodating. They gave allot of suggestions or things to view and places to go, which really made the trip sooo much better.

I don't know what I can add to my review that other people haven't already said. Gracious and communicative hosts, check. Spotlessly clean, check. Million-dollar view, check. We absolutely loved this cabin and would come back in a hot minute.
One of my favorite parts about this rental was that we could open all the windows and doors and let the fresh air in. So many places I've stayed have the windows sealed shut and you have to rely on air conditioning. Not here. The mountain breezes were fantastic, and we slept like babies.
We were so close to Dolly Sods and Blackwater Falls State Park, and we also enjoyed seeing Davis and Thomas. We spent plenty of time just on the front porch watching the clouds drift by. We came primarily to star gaze, but, unfortunately, the clouds had other plans. As my husband said, however, "We'll just have to go back!"
At the risk of too many people knowing about this perfect cabin, I have to say that if you're on the fence about renting this place, don't be. Go. Have a fantastic trip. You can thank me later.

Thank you for the great stay. Great communication, great available amenities compared to other places we've stayed. They even had odds and ends like Q-tips, toothpicks, hair ties, etc. The view is amazing, the house is relaxing with lots of windows and air flow, and the hosts are extremely helpful and friendly.

Our stay at the Sunset cabin was just what we were looking for. The cabin was everything we expected it to be. It was very clean and all maintained. The hot tub was an added bonus. Exceeded my expectations! The landscaped view is insanely beautiful. The cabin is cozy and convenient to the quaint friendly towns and sightseeing. I will certainly recommend this to anyone!! You won’t be disappointed! The hosts are pretty darn amazing as well!

Even though the weather was not cooperative did us to explore outdoors much we had an awesome stay in Dan and Barbara’s cozy cabin. The wood burning fireplace kept us cozy, and we enjoyed their collection of games and puzzles, as well as the full kitchen which allowed us to cook in. The hot tub was very nice and had a great view of the mountains. We also enjoyed feeding the nearby horses. Dan and Barbara were awesome with their communication and helpfulness. They are excellent hosts, always looking to improve their property for a better stay! We hope to be back!

We had a wonderful time. Even though it rained almost our whole trip we still made the best of it. The hot tub was very relaxing even in rain. I could spend the rest of my life on that porch with the beautiful view it has of the mountains, loved drinking my morning coffee out there and taking time to read as well. We definitely hope to go back. Dan and Barbara are the best they make you feel like family but also give you the space you go out there for. The horses are beautiful and very friendly too
