About this house rental

Nestled in Oceano, this lovely house for $84 per night is a great option for your next vacation. This is a single/private vacation room for rent in a house. No house access. Room is blocked from rest of house and is private. Own entrance into room. Own bathroom in room. Small refrigerator, microwave, and kuerig in room. Queen-sized bed. 3rd person would sleep on a floor sleeping mat. Large TV and wireless in-room. Own entrance to front patio and firepit. Street-parking and room for bigger vehicles/trailers. Dogs considered. Dogs and cat live on property. Guests sometimes let cat into guest room but people w any allergies have had no issues. Our dogs have no access to guest area. One mile to Oceano Dunes and 2 miles to Pismo Beach. No access to main house. Motorcycles welcome. $25 extra a night for 3rd person. Business license 6004617.

Great place to stay for a couple. The reason I gave a 4 (it would be 4.5 if the option were there) is because there was only one nightstand and we had to lie on our sides to watch TV. It would’ve been nice if the bed were in the middle of the room so both sides could have a nightstand and sit up in bed to watch TV. Other than that, it was a great little spot and perfect for our needs.

We really loved the place, they went out of their way to accommodate our motorcycle! Really enjoyed the fire pit on the patio and can’t wait to go back!

It is comfortable but lacking a few things especially a fold up tray and chair. Also a few utensils and paper towels. I ate my “takeout” meals at times.

Cute room/cottage- a good place to rest your head, not up to my cleaning standards. I went to take a shower, water was draining slowly- I promptly removed a wad of hair ( not mine) . Knickknacks in bathroom /on shelf terribly dusty as was the window sill area. On Saturday morning, 6/10, one owner left early (6-6:30 am),and with no one left in the house/owners around, the two dogs were barking on and off for an hour or so- made it difficult to get back to sleep. Not owners fault, just an FYI. Overall quiet and safe neighborhood ( minus the brigade of fireworks on Friday night around 10-10:30pm -ish, again, not owners fault at all) I’m sure a lot of people like this place, but it’s not for me.

I enjoyed my stay. The decor was cheerful and uplifting, yet peaceful. Bed was commfortable. I enjoyed the Keurig. Cold water in frig was handy. I would stay again if I'm in the area. I didnt have time to use the outdoor area, but appreciated the privacy of the front yard.

This was a nice and clean room for our one night stay with our puppy while visiting the area. The room is filled with color and character, we loved it. Location was an easy and quick drive to get to the beach. Jen was really responsive and made sure we were checked in and comfortable. Overall recommend if you’re in the area!

We were only at this hidden gem for a day and a half but sitting on the private patio made us feel relaxed and calm. The garden is beautiful and the colorful decor cant help but make you happy. Room was very clean and worked perfect for our quick work visit. We highly recommend

We loved this cozy little room and the bright and sunny decor! Also so close to all the little coastal towns. We hung out in Pismo, hiked in Avila, had dinner in SLO, and coffee in Arroyo Grande. Such a convenient location! Our favorite this about this spot was the outside lounge area and living garden.

We were only looking for a place to rest our head at night and we got much more. The room was cozy and small but the patio outside made it feel bigger. We spent more time outside enjoying the garden and private patio.

I was nervous when I arrived, as it seemed like an active neighborhood and I was concerned about noise. It was quiet! I also appreciated the black-out curtains, comfortable bed, playful and fun decorations, lovely private front patio. It was helpful to have a small fridge, microwave and keurig so I could have breakfast on the patio. Jen and John were friendly, available, positive hosts. I loved being close to the ocean, and drove to spend sunrise and sunset on the beach some days. Lovely place!

Had to cancel the Oceano part of our trip due to floods and more rain. Yet, I got charged the full rent. Your rules ought to allow for the renter to bear some. of the burden when the no show is due to weather.

This spot was just what we needed for our short trip: a peaceful reasonably priced place tucked away in a quiet neighborhood that was within short, easy driving distance to Grover Beach and other amenities. The personality of the place was an added bonus. Just look for the artsy property decorated with antiques and various knickknacks. You can’t miss it. The spot is connected to the main house but is totally private, with a private entrance, a bathroom, and a microwave and fridge. There’s also a patio area for guests. Check-in and Check-out were a breeze.

Wonderful stay in an artsy room with a patio. Very comfy bed, quiet location with everything you would need for a nice stay near the beach. Loved the decor, and I can’t say enough about how comfy the bed was.
