About this cabin rental
Our cozy cabin welcomes you with honey-pine interior and a bear theme decor. Sit on the deck and listen to the wind whistle through the pines or play horse-shoes in the backyard while you grill on the barbeque.
Step away from the fast-pace and simply relax, read a book, play a board game, or sway in the hammock.
After a long day on the slopes, hiking or biking the trails, enjoying the lake or visiting the casinos, the experience of sitting in front of the fireplace with a glass of wine or a mug of hot chocolate just can't be beat!
The cabin has two bedrooms one with a lovely 4 poster queen bed the other a warm pine twin / full bunk bed perfect for the kids or couple.
Our full bath is decorated with a bear and moose theme. Towels provided...We also have a large mudroom with washer and dryer.
The cabin is centrally located within fifteen minutes away from Heavenly and Sierra Tahoe resorts, casinos, restaurants -- and, of course, beautiful Lake Tahoe. It is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, protected from traffic and tourist noise.
Our cabin has everything you would need for a romantic getaway or a family vacation. Come and enjoy a weekend or week you will LOVE it!

Just so you know there is little to no cell phone service and the house has no WiFi. This was great for our getaway but if I had needed internet for a work emergency it would have been a pain. I wish this was a little more clear in the ad. I enjoyed no TV as well and got to teach my four year old what a VHS was and that you should rewind it before you put it away. We loved being able to sit out back and BBQ and relax on the deck but there are several spots on the deck that have weak soft wood, be careful. Two things would get me to go back to this house in a heartbeat, first is NEW mattresses. The master bed was extremely uncomfortable and I often moved to the couch. Second would be to update the kitchen, the stove worked but was a struggle and the dishwashers was very loud. Set it for when you head out for the day. After everything this stay came out to over a few hundred a night for four nights and that is rather steep for what you will be getting. But if you need to escape it all sometimes price is not a factor.
