About this house rental
Situated in Door County, this attractive house for $233 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. This, 2 bedroom 1000 square foot home, is only 35 feet off the Bay of Green Bay, was built mid- year 2018. The setting is picturesque and tranquil. The first floor of this 2 story home features a kitchen with a full sized refrigerator, gas stove, dishwasher, microwave, dishes and cookware, a dining area, a half bath and a living room that looks out to the Bay of Green Bay. The Beach House is next door to the LLC Owner's residence. Both homes are shown in the first photo in the photo stream. The living room has a 44 inch flat screen television and a blue ray DVD player with an antenna for local stations or streaming TV thru Roku using your account log-in. There are games and jigsaw puzzles provided. The second Story has 2 bedrooms. Each bedroom has a queen bed. One of the bedrooms also has a crib and a reading nook. There is a 2nd living room on the 2nd level with a queen pullout. The 2nd floor has a full bath with a double sink, tub and a shower. A quiet, private, rural location in Southern Door County with spacious vistas and opportunities for bird watching. Distances to some popular destinations: > 5 mi. Green Bay Austin Straubel International Airport Door County had experienced historically high water in 2020 that caused the waterfront to be in constant flux. Water has dropped a couple of feet since the high water peak. The water varies on any given day and throughout a single day from being completely calm to stunning, waves that crash on the shore. The waves and wind direction may impact beach access. In late April 2020, rip rap was installed to restore and preserve the shoreline. due to the high water at that time. Swimming is at your own risk. A private dock with a bench is included. However, strong storms in the spring and the fall typically limit the dock on the water from Mid May thru Mid September. Due to unpredictable weather conditions the dock is not suitable for mooring water craft. Pictures were updated to show a view from the dock and from the shore to show the improvements.

This beautiful property is very close to the water with a great sunset view. Located only a short drive from Sturgeon Bay. We enjoyed the privacy that it offered when we were not out sight seeing. Highly recommend staying here.

This is exactly what we were hoping for! The Beach House is brand new and furnished with upscale appliances and comfy beds. The sunsets were spectacular! The cottage is right on the water and the gentle sound of lake waves lulled us to sleep each night. We enjoyed walking and riding our bikes on the nearby country roads as well as on the great trails in Door County. Bird life was abundant. Duane and Linda are gracious hosts who were attentive while also respecting our privacy. My favorite memory of our stay will always be of the morning their visiting granddaughters came over while I was sitting outside reading and offered me my choice of the fresh tomatoes they had just picked from their grandpa’s vegetable garden! One doesn’t get that kind of service in at a 6 star resort! Duane and Linda also went way beyond the call of duty after we had departed to help us with several Amazon packages that had been mis-directed to their address, a kindness for which we will always be grateful.

This delightful property is in a quiet, rural location right by the water. Super friendly and welcoming hosts, Duane and Linda Nolte, reside next door. Willing to share all they know about the area and available to answer any questions.
The house is spotlessly clean with two spacious comfortable bedrooms. The kitchen has all necessary items you would need. All windows face the beautiful waterfront. Had a fantastic stay and plan on returning.

Beautiful property, extremely clean & well stocked home. Hosts, Duane & Linda were welcoming, they even had a pile of kindling next to the fire pit for our evening campfire. The view of the sunsets required only looking out the window. We loved our stay at the Beach House & hope to return someday. Rent this property, you will not be disappointed.

We stayed here with our 3 year old and everything was perfect. The host even asked if we needed a toddler bed set up the morning of our arrival. It made our daughter's first overnight stay away from home easy and comfortable. We really couldn't have asked for more and will definitely be back. Loved escaping to the peace and quiet after being out amongst the crowds in Door County. We are so glad we chose this property for its peaceful surroundings and proximity to Sturgeon Bay. It was nice having something to retreat back to at the end of the day from the heavier crowds in Ephraim, Sister Bay, Fish Creek and Egg Harbor.
The accommodations were very clean and comfortable and the view is spectacular. Owners are super accommodating and friendly.
It was also the perfect setup for our two kids, ages 5 and 2 with the accessibility of both a crib/toddler bed.

Our stay couldn’t have been any better! Right from the start, it was obvious how much attention to detail Duane and Linda put into the property. The house had absolutely everything we needed and the grounds were gorgeous complete with our own dock with bench to watch the sunsets, grill, picnic table and fire pit. It was the perfect relaxing getaway for our family to spend quality time together. Fox Lane Beach House is a true gem and we can’t wait to come back!

We were 4 adults and 2 kids that stayed at Duane and Linda’s beach house and loved every bit of our experience. The place was spacious, clean, very thoughtfully equipped with everything a family would need for a comfortable stay. We just stayed one night but Duane was very welcoming and attentive to anything we might need, which turned out to be nothing because this gorgeous home is super clean and comes with everything you would need. We were looking for a "home base" for an extended weekend of Door County activities, and Duane & Linda's beach house was the perfect choice. The house is situated nicely on the bay with excellent views and soothing sounds. The interior of the home is immaculate with obvious attention to detail toward making for a relaxing stay.
Even with a colder than expected weekend, we were able to enjoy everything about the house, including an evening fire after a day of activities. The owners are very responsive to questions or if you need assistance.

My friend and I stayed at this lovely home for a few days of leaf peeping. The house is gorgeous. The lake is so close. Everything is stocked with all you need. The owners were friendly and helpful. I would stay here again with NO hesitation.

Parking was probably only downfall , 5 woman ,5 motorcycles. Doesn’t show in pictures but the incline for the parking space is extremely scary. We all had a blast. Last night there , I fell down by the pier, so if you rent, bring huge flashlight 🔦. Serene atmosphere!!!

Duane and Linda are great to work with. Prompt response to questions before arrival. Going the extra mile (the cart for us to put our suitcases on to take to the house, kindling by the fire pit).Very peaceful location. House was immaculate and really cozy. When it came time to leave, we wished we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend Duane and Linda's beach house and plan to return again next year to unwind and relax and enjoy the view!

Peaceful enclave — away from the crowds in denser settings — make this home a true respite from other more touristy areas in the peninsula. And, that’s exactly what we retirees were looking for. Newly built, the cozy yet spacious space is attractively and comfortably decorated with all items needed for an effortless visit provided. We lacked for nothing.
Immaculate, with top quality appliances, we were pleased to be able to cook, make coffee, dispense water and ice, and enjoy the double sinks in the upstairs bathroom. Dishes, pots and pans, and cutlery were plentiful, and having a dishwasher made it a more relaxing stay. We used the gas grill and took advantage of the fire pit and available firewood. The owner even gave me a hand getting my sad, little fire started. Owners live next door and are friendly and available but not intrusive.
One thing that I can’t fail to rave about, as insignificant as it might sound, is the quality of the sheets. I almost didn’t want to get out of bed, but coffee and the fresh day ahead for exploration called to me.

We had a great stay at the beach house! Nice, quiet location with spectacular views of the lake. An easy drive to restaurants and hiking, the Beach House was a calm oasis to come back to. The house was comfortable and beautiful!

The owners Duane and Linda go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable and have everything you need! Correspondence with them beforehand was excellent. We only stayed one night but we left relaxed as if we had stayed longer. Our kids and grandkids joined us just for dinner and we made special memories. The sunset was gorgeous! It is a new beach house with quality included everywhere. We would stay again! Thank you for opening your property to guests!

The perfect spot to come home to each day after exploring beautiful Door County! We loved sitting by the campfire, watching the sun set and catching fish off the dock each night. The beach house had everything we needed, was just as advertised and the owner’s hospitality was outstanding. Would definitely recommend!

This lovely cottage right on the water (with your own private pier, complete with a bench at the end of the pier) was a respite from the noise of life. With the windows open you can hear the waves crashing on the beach. The views were great, especially the amazing sunsets. Close enough to the top of Door County (about an hour), yet far enough to find peacefulness at the end of the day. This home is well-appointed and Duane and Linda were amazing hosts who truly care about the comfort of their guests.

Waterfront Serenity
A very nice house and a really super host, but what tops it all is being right on the waterfront in a quiet neighborhood. It’s 20 min to Sturgeon Bay and another 20 to Egg Harbor, but you get to return to this waterfront serenity each night, watch a lovely sunset and then enjoy a fire in the fire pit. Can’t beat that!
