Nestled in Leland, this attractive condo for $250 per night is a great option for your next trip. Nicely appointed, bright, and spacious with an open floor plan and modern amenities in one of the oldest and largest historic structures in Leland. Hardwood floors throughout with new carpet in back bedroom and stairs. Granite countertop in the bathroom with cast iron tub and tile and Full washer and dryer This 1,100 sq. ft. apartment sleeps 4-6(4 adults maximum with 2 children) comfortably with two private bedrooms (Bedroom 1: 1 Queen; Bedroom 2: 1 Queen & 2 twins). Ideal for a family or two couples. Bedrooms are located on opposite ends of the apartment. Walk everywhere. Hardwood floors and a knotty pine bedroom complement this historic building. Large fully equipped kitchen with seating for six. The private second floor apartment has no neighbors but is in the heart of the Village. Dedicated parking and only 100 feet from Fishtown and the Harbor. Walk to Grocery stores and fine restaurants. A very short walk to two public Beaches. Private, quiet, yet in the heart of it all! Every thing is walkable … beach, grocery, several restaurants. Very comfortable, spacious and clean accommodations. Kitchen was well equipped too. I’d definitely choose it again should I be in the area overnight (as I live 2 hours further north). Thank you for maintaining such a warm, spotless, lovely place.

Right in Leland and grocery store across the street so every thing was convenient. Beds were extremely comfortable.
Keep in mind there are very few places for dinner without driving into other towns. The Cove and restaurant at the golf course were both great.

Leland is such a small wonderful little town on Lake Michigan. This rental was 2nd floor above a shop. (Zero noise). We had a charter leaving from Leland this was probably a 30 second walk to the dock. Also 30 second to Fishtown and 3 minutes to a beach for a fantastic sunset. What I'm trying to say is the location was superb!! Unit was old, it is advertised as oldest building in Leland, but was super clean. Enjoy!

Great looking places except the beds were hard as a rock….. however the pillows made it comfortable enough. I would go there again for sure. Leland was extremely clean zero trash on the ground anywhere very nice!! The place looks like a movie set.

Great location to stay to enjoy Leland and Fishtown and for checking out some of the other attractions in the area. The property owner was very responsive whenever we needed anything. The rooms were clean and it was a nice, spacious apartment.

It was a nice open floor plan, comfortable and amenable. Games provided to play if needed.
Could have used a couple more wash cloths and a good egg pan... the eggs stuck bad and soaked most of the day to get clean.
Over all, we liked it and would like to rent again.

We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it. Very convenient location above a retail business. Leland is tiny, just a crossroads on the M22 and this unit puts you in walking distance to all the stores, Fishtown, grocery, restaurants and beaches.
A few minor inconveniences were, check in seemed unnecessarily draw out. Instructions are to call a store and find out when they close, then to meet the manager on your arrival for the code to the door. It seems unnecessary to call (just let the guest know the hours on arrival day!) And in our case the manager wasnt immediately available so we waited around 5-10 mins and eventually a store clerk gave us the code. (Why not include the code in the welcome email- that included the address and other check in Instructions?).
Other thing was the AC and heating controls are on a set pattern- many guests will never notice but some are sensitive to the temp and want to adjust it. That requires texting the property owner to remotely change it and he was out of pocket the first day or two so there was a lag in making changes to the temp and running the system fan at night (which i like for white noise). Ultimately it was straightened out but it was a a little burdensome.
Due to this downtown location you are in a commercial area and on a couple mornings trash pick up is about 5 am with a lot of noise- the beeping of the garbage trucks in reverse and clanging and banging of the dumpsters.
These are the biggest nit picks in the experience because really no major complaints about the property over all.
As many other reviews touch on it is clean, spacious and has a fully functioning kitchen. Only thing to be improved on for guests that eat in a lot- the cutting knife was as dull as a butter knife so cutting veggies was near impossible. But the kitchen has all the cutlery and utensils needed for cooking a full meal.
A plus was the grocery was across the street and about 20 mins away in suttons bay was a larger grocery store for more extensive shopping.
Fishtown is across the street which is a very charming old commercial fishing village that is under preservation efforts. Its definitely worth visiting and was interesting to see and read the history.
Going in October Leland is sleepy and a couple restaurants had closed for the season but you avoid lots of tourists and traffic and the stunning Lake Michigan scenery has not changed.
