About this condo rental
Welcome to Surfside Beach. The community feel on the beach is noticed by the absence of high-rise buildings which equates to less crowds and more tranquil relaxation. Our condo is bright and colorful, it says beach vacation everywhere. The master bedroom has a queen microfiber bed, wall mounted HDTV/DVD, new hardwood floors, ceiling fan and a private bath. The master also has a sliding glass door that leads to an over sized balcony where the sound of the waves will lull you to sleep each night after a fun fill day in the water! The second bedroom has two twin beds, wall mounted TV/DVD and a ceiling fan. The second bath like the master has a full tub/shower. Pillows, blankets and comforters are provided. (linens may be included if needed for an additional fee) The dining room and family room are open with ocean front views from the dining table, sofa and family room chairs. The kitchen is equipped with electric appliances; the stove, dishwasher and microwave all were purchased in 2014. The dining table seats 6 comfortably to make your seafood dinner a deliciously pleasant event. The double balcony has the best 1st floor views on Surfside Beach. Looking north, Myrtle Beach appears to be within walking distance. Look to the south to see Surfside Pier which is actually just a mile down the beach. Within site of the pier you will find River City Cafe, Bubba's Seafood, Scotty's Pub, a tee shirt and ice cream shop. There are assigned parking spaces with limited spaces: No trailers, boats or carts are allowed. Our HOA restrictions does not allow student groups and pets are not allowed. Any violators are subject to eviction. The condo's private pool is well maintained, the pool deck has recently been refurbished and we have new chairs . The private walkway to the beach has a nice bench to sit, relax and enjoy the views without getting your feet in the sand if prefer. The beautiful beach is just steps away, awaiting you to soak up the sun, fun and make awesome vacation memories. We hope to hear from you and will be glad to help with any questions you may have. We just returned from The Coddages II after a most relaxing week . We were delighted with the condominium and it’s amenities. The condo spacious and clean.
We had the most delightful view being that we were steps away from the beach. We were awakened each and every morning with spectacular sunrises. This morning before we left, we could not decide which way in the sky look , because there was the sunrise to the left of east and a beautiful lightning show on the west of us!
We’re with in walking distances if local restaurants and the pier.
We highly recommend this condo for the most enjoyable stay at Surfside Beach!

We loved #106 Cape Cottages II in Surfside Beach. Well equipped kitchen. Nicely decorated. Very comfortable. Tonya was very quick to respond to any questions or issues we had. View from large deck is perfect! Would definitely return. August 2023

Great property and as described on VRBO. Takes 2 minute s to walk to beach from second floor unit, but is really the first floor since everything this close to the ocean is elevated. This is a quieter beach compared to Myrtle for sure. There is a public access just N of the unit, that can bring in extra traffic, but you will have that most places. Life guards on duty during almost all beach hours during our stay-helps keep an eye on things. Great communication with owner. There is a convenient storage under the condo with items owners have left to use. If you borrow an umbrella like we did the life guard can dig a quick proper hole for it. There are two parking spots, we only used one, the other one under the unit would fit a very small car or golf cart. You can get almost anywhere you need to go via golf cart-rent one way ahead of your stay!

We had a great stay and the unit was very comfortable with many comforts of home. Location was great with easy access to the beach but the pool was still too chilly for us. Tonya was very responsive and made the booking process very simple. Can’t wait to come back again.

Other than Hurricane Ian and the guest bathroom sink clogging, our stay was very nice.

there where roaches, light in master bedroom was going off/ on ,2nd bathroom tub would not drain right, kitchen sink faucet would not rotate easy, condo had a smell to it(like wet dog),did not tell us about parking(did not know we had two spots or where the other was at), parking was not big enough, ( was hit by a renter,)lights where not label, could not turn on living light ,Hot tub did not look like it had been clean in years, beds was not comfortable. we left it cleaner than we got it. Did not see condo instructions until last day due to being posted on side of the fridge, (should be posted on front of fridge)other renter in the other units in the building ,told us about some of the same thing in there unit, roaches, smell and not being clean. outside pool shower did not work, building has issue, love the porch and the lay out was nice, would be a nice place if these thing could be corrected

Beautiful and well appointed condo. Easy beach access and bonus storage room on ground floor for your beach gear. Everything you need for a relaxing week is there. Bess were very comfortable. Only negative were the sofas - definitely needs an upgrade as they were worn. Would definitely rent this condo again - location is close to several dining areas, a few miles from Brookgreen Gardens and Huntington Beach state park.

Best Vacation in a long time
We stayed for one week at this property and I was not ready to leave when it was time! My husband and I sat on the oceanfront porch everyday and soaked in the views. Our adult daughter and her boyfriend sat on the porch daily as well and it just made our beach stay all the more enjoyable. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals and the walk out to the beach was easy for after-meal strolls. I’ve never used a full capacity stacked washer and dryer until this visit, but it made washing towels so much easier! The house was clean and the beds were comfy. I highly recommend!

Family beach trip
The location was excellent, great view of beach. Unit was very clean and plenty of room for 6. Area was great, out of the traffic of myrtle beach. Parking was probably the best of all the units there but would have been really bad if all units were occupied. Sleeper sofa is shot, glad we bright an air mattress.. I would certainly stay again but would only bring one vehicle

Nice place to stay
We enjoyed our stay at this property. The furnishings were nice and we spent a lot of time on the deck overlooking the ocean. The parking was a bit tricky, but we were able to get in and out when we needed to.

Awesome Beachfront
Location was great! The beach items in the storage closet were super helpful: Beach umbrellas, beach chairs, beach toys for kids. Enjoyed sitting on the covered deck and listening to the ocean. Being covered was a plus that we could still sit outside and enjoy the location while it rained. Definitely would enjoy staying here again! Communication with Tonya was great!

I stayed here with my two kids, 11 and 4, my hubby had to work, we have been staying at Cape Coddages 2 for years, and this is one of the best units. Large balcony, great jacuzzi tub, lovely master and second bedroom, very clean. My communications with Tonya, the owner were great, I had questions, she quickly answered. We left a few things behind and her cleaning crew mailed them to us right away. We will be staying here again next year. Couldn't ask for a better place!!!!

Cape coddages
The location is outstanding. Parking was difficult. Lucky some spaces were vacant. One car is fine you can park outside. A second car parks under the building with other cars located behind you making it difficult for that car to exit. Not much can be done about that. The outside stairs are also a challenge when you have luggage, something that cut be fixed until the outside gets refurbished.
The furniture in the living area needs to be updated. The lighting is dim and difficult to read by. Also suggest outside lighting be maintained. Difficult to retrieve the key from the box because of lighting. Overall we had a great time. The owner was very responsive.

We were down to Myrtle Beach for a week long baseball tournament. The location was perfect for us. Close proximity to the games each day without staying in the heart of Myrtle Beach. We prefer to avoid the hustle and bustle when possible. Only 20 mins from the games and only 15 mins from Murrell’s Inlet and a ton of fantastic restaurants. The rental was perfect…nicely decorated with everything we could want or need. And the ocean view from the balcony each day, morning or evening is what the beach is all about.

Great Location, Great Property
This is our third year at Surfside Beach and we have tried a different condo each year. This one is one that we will probably consider again next year. The property was in a great location, very clean, stocked with the necessities and decorated well. The only down fall, which was not the owners fault, was the outdoor grills were in very poor condition and should be replaced. We went to Walmart and bought a grill to use for $20 that served the purpose. Thank you to Tonya for allowing us to stay at their property.
