Nestled in Carmel Valley, this charming house for $837 per night is a great option for your next break. This serenely comfortable home and tranquil setting will melt your cares away. Soak in the hot tub, enjoy the gardens, swim in the pool, or read a book by the fireplace. This is a classic Monterey Post/Adobe style house that has been fully remodeled and exquisitely furnished. There are many inviting outdoor nooks to discover here. Walk to Carmel Valley Village and taste wine at one of the many tasting rooms or dine at a choice of international restaurants. Perfect for families, personal, group, and executive retreats, or small quiet seminars and workshops. In this park-like setting, you can hear the sounds of birds and the gentle breeze rippling through the pine trees, see an occasional hawk circling over the property, or revel in watching the pool reflections on the living room ceiling. The back terrace, accessible through French doors from the dining room area, has a table with umbrella and chairs surrounded by a raised terraced garden. Each of the five bedrooms has night tables with reading lamps and pretty bedspreads. Fully-equipped and very roomy kitchen. Gas cook top, single gas oven, water filter, microwave, full set of utensils and cooking accessories, coffee maker, toaster oven, phone, breakfast nook (not in picture) with pool view, and skylight. Natural, pond-like full-size swimming pool with solar heat. Pool is swim-able from approximately May through most of October. Hot tub behind bamboo provides serene privacy. Surrounded by pine, maple, willow, and fruit trees full of birds, an occasional deer, and other wildlife. Cozy living room with fireplace, Tibetan rug, oriental cabinet, book collection, view of pool and garden, writing desk, TV, VCR, cable, CD, tape, and radio. The photos dont do it justice, the pool, hot tub and garden are stunning! We had a very peaceful stay, the home is cozy and family-like with a custom feeling home. Not a single piece of IKEA furniture to be found as is typical in rental homes! The home feels like an inviting retreat. We loved our stay and would come back

My adult family of 8 enjoyed staying here for 4 nights over Thanksgiving. There was plenty of room for everyone to find places to relax comfortably and take in the peaceful surroundings, as well as places to all gather together. The driveway and garage provided ample space for our 5 cars. Everything inside is well labeled and instructions for use are easy to understand. The owners were quick to respond to questions we had before booking and even checked in via text after we arrived. Communication was great, and they were very accommodating with a couple of specific requests prior to arrival.
This comfortable home is on a beautiful, quiet and peaceful property. It has many windows overlooking the outdoor gardens. We only wish we could have spent more time on the outdoor patios soaking it all in, but our group was often out and about enjoying the area’s many walking, running and hiking trails and area activities. One couple did enjoy the hot tub.
It was nice to find a level one story home which my 89 year old mother could easily navigate. The 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms gave us the perfect space for our family. The separate guest house would be perfect for a young family. It has 2 bedrooms with separate outside entrances, and the interior door can be opened to join the rooms. Although the single bathroom in the guest house is accessed only through the queen bedroom, we made it work.
We highly recommend this home and will keep it on our “favorites” list for future visits!

Listing was just as described and perfectly laid out for two families traveling together (one in main house and one in guest cottage).
Kitchen was well-equipped. House was spotless. Yard was private and pool & hot tub were lovely and well-enjoyed by our family.

Members of my family kept using the words magical and enchanted! The house was designed so that nine adults could spread out, or come together, as the occasion dictated. The landscaping provided multiple areas, each with a different feel, for relaxing, meditating, or group gatherings. There were even different “views” around the pool area. Even with all the relaxing, we still found time for karaoke and card games! We definitely enjoyed our stay.

This beautiful property was fantastic for our multi-generational family trip! Even with inclement weather, there was plenty of room to spread out and the tranquil setting was just perfect. The location was great for day trips to Monterey, Santa Cruz, Carmel, and Point Lobos (don’t miss this gem!), and the nearby town had some yummy places for dinner. The house was well appointed and warm, and we enjoyed every second here. Thank you so much for opening your house to us! We hope to come back another time!

Loved this property! Used it as a base for a multi-day wedding event at Holly Farms. The zen feel was so relaxing. Every morning we were greeted by deer grazing in the garden. The kitchen was well-stocked and had everything we needed for a few casual meals "at home." Would love to stay again.

This is a beautiful property, deep into Carmel Valley, close to nearby wedding venues. Sleeping arrangements allow for flexibility, total of 10 calculates Queen beds as for 2 guests. It would be a fun place to stay when not so busy with wedding activities. One guest was appointed as cleaner-upper, and did a beautiful job. Absolutely no pets!

We had so much fun at this house! It slept 10 of us and never felt cramped. The guest house was also used and was perfect for 4 people. The weather was warm, so we spent a lot of time sitting by the pool. The yard is large and beautiful. The location is great. We ate dinner down the road a bit, grocery store was close and downtown Carmel was a short ride. Carmel Valley is a little warmer and I think less foggy than Carmel. Overall a great stay and would like to visit again and use the pool. Thank you!

The house is fully stocked for a week-long stay. We cooked several meals, including BBQ. It's very quiet, and just a short walk into town, and an easy drive to Carmel, Monterey and Pacific Grove. The owner is very conscientious and helpful. We would definitely come back!
