We loved everything about the property. It was very quirky with lovely furnishings, very clean and had everything we could possibly need. The location is perfect for exploring Krakow, with cafes shops and restaurants within walking distance. We had a beautiful view from the balcony of the castle and river. Maria was a lovely lady, very welcoming and she arranged a taxi to take us to the airport when leaving.
There was nothing to dislike.

The appartment is situated just across from the castle (with a sports ground inbetween, large parking underneath), close to the river, in a quiet residential corner of the city away from the tourist circuit but super close to the center. The building as a whole has seen better days, but it is a beautiful piece of residential architecture from the 1930s (I guess). The appartment itself is very well kept and charming, with spacious rooms, high ceilings, beautiful vintage furniture, etc. It is not glossy or new, but has lots of character. The view from the living room and terrace on the castle is wonderful (better than the pictures suggest). The kitchen is very well equipped, the bathroom is small but sufficient. We could easily arrange a late checkout, communication was always prompt and clear. We were greeted in person when we arrived, and received a friendly introduction to the place.
Note that there is no elevator, and it is a bit of a climb to the appartment. We had some noise from a folk festival below the castle, but it stopped early and the main bedroom is in the back, very silent.

The stairs where tough in the heat, however that would not put me off booking this apartment again. It was just perfect.
