The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious. The location was great, right in the city centre, with plenty of bars, cafes, restaurants, and transport options on the doorstep. The bar and housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful.
As noted in the fine print there is loud music on weekends, but with earplugs in I slept through this with no issues. Overall the property is a bit dated with new carpets and some repairs needed (for example, the bathroom blinds did not close all the way, the shower temperature dial was missing, the hairdryer and TV remote did not work, etc.).

Location was fantastic, central to all tourist attractions and shops. Room was clean and facilities generally good.
No air conditioning. Loud music from nearby clubs and bars until 3am even on week nights. With the hot weather, it meant having to leave the windows open during the night which made the noise even worse. 7am wake up call of beer barrels rolling down the cobbles. And I haven’t even mentioned the ghosts!
