Check in and out was very easy. Plenty of space for our two families. Excellent outdoor spaces for relaxing, sharing meals, and grilling.

We fished both in the surf and on a charter and had a great time. The chef was incredible and prepared some of the fish we caught. Can’t wait to come back next year!

Our stay at La Vida Loca was amazing! The house was beautiful, right on the beach. I loved that it was close enough that the kids go play by the water and the patio was close enough to keep an eye on them. The 4 master bedrooms all had ocean views which was super cool. House was well stocked. Omar was extremely helpful and accommodating with everything we needed. Everything was perfect and I can't wait to get back! Thank you a fabulous trip:)

Second time staying at Bruce’s house and it was very relaxing. Comfortable accommodations and the beach was fabulous. Quiet and beautiful. I could easily sit on the back deck from sun up to sunset everyday just enjoying the view, ocean sounds & dolphins too! The only very minor suggestion I have is to clear out some long expired pantry items and put hand soap in the kitchen. We love this property and especially appreciate the thoroughness at the security gate. It’s so nice to not have to worry about our family’s safety!! Thanks for a lovely weekend!!

I can’t begin to tell you how amazing this place was! It was absolutely amazing! The house was super clean easy to get to and we felt super safe! We had 10 in our party and there was a plenty of room for everyone!!! I have nothing bad to say about this place!!! Omar the house manager was an amazing guy and helped with the things we needed. Bruce was wonderful to work with!!! I will be booking this place again! My biggest worry was feeling safe and I had no worries from the first moment I walked in! This place was amazing!

The house was perfect for our group. Beautiful location on the beach. Pretty well stocked with pantry items. House manager was very accessible and coordinated all of our excursions. Had a few minor inconveniences pop up but we would definitely stay here again. Tons of beach toys which was awesome so we didn't have to bring any but we could have used a beach umbrella. Bring one if you need some shade. That Mexico sun is fierce! The only other minor thing was the propane tank for the fire pit was empty on the night we were trying to use it. Omar sent one the next day so we did still have one night for smores. We got a chef for 2 dinners. They were great. Cost us $25 a person. Food was fresh and they cleaned up everything and left us with great leftovers for lunch the next day.

First time to Puerto Penasco and it was amazing will definitely return again! This rental property was perfect did not disappoint one bit! It offered ocean view from every room and very spacious. We enjoyed eating outside on the back patio in the evenings watching the waves. On our last day a group of dolphins swam by close to shore as if they were waving goodbye! Amazing!

This property is so close to the beach and has a great patio! It was very clean, and they have water toys available. The only issue was the DVD player. It was broken, but we hooked up on from one of the bedrooms. Overall, a great stay!

The location of this property right on the Playa Encanto beach was excellent! It was so beautiful and the beach was very nice! The 4 bedrooms, all with beach views were great, along with the exterior patio area. We definitely would have used the exterior patio more had it been a little warmer, but we were there when the weather was a bit cool. The beds were comfortable and all bedrooms were quite large. We really appreciated the use of the paddle boards and our kids used them in the gentle ocean, and had a great time. The place could use a coat of paint, new towels and sheets, and some minor upkeep, but for the most part, we were quite happy. The Wi-fi worked pretty well, once we got it working (as one of our party had inadvertently tuned off the router in the one of the upstairs bedrooms). The land line phone at the property never did work, though Bruce told us that someone would come to fix it (they never did show while we were there). As we expected, the property was about 20 -25 minutes or so from Puerto Penasco, which was not a big deal, though getting to the property late at night was a challenge during a heavy rain storm during our arrival. There is a paved road for about 8 miles outside of Puerto Penasco, then a dirt road for about 4 or 5 miles to the property. The dirt roads became a muddy, slippery mess, and the signage to turn toward the property was no longer there, so we had a tough time finding the actual property. It would have been a lot easier to find in the light, and without the heavy rain, as it was extremely difficult to see. Bruce was very responsive and good to work with. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend the property with the caveats mentioned above.

Property was clean and the owners were great in regards to accommodating allowing us to arrive early and make use of the back patio and the beach/ocean. Beds were comfortable and the house had everything we needed. It will be even better next year when they add internet access however we knew this prior to making our trip so it was a non issue. We did experience an issue on day 6 of our trip with the water system. We ran out of water due to leaking toilets and shower valves. I texted the owners and they had the water service out immediately, they filled the tanks and attempted to make repairs to the pump and plumbing system for the pump however a plumber was needed. The plumber did come out th same day and made repairs, however additional repairs were needed - which did get made the next day after I again had texted the owner. All in all the owner was very responsive to this issue, the only "critic I would offer is that rather then rely on those being dispatched to resolve these issues - I would prefer communication back from the owners to keep me informed of what was being done to resolve the issues. That said the issues were resolved very timely, especially knowing the speed at which things move in Rocky Point. Thank you Bruce & Erika for responding to our SOS as quickly and expeditiously as you did. These things happen and it was great to see your attentiveness to them. We were surprised upon arrival that we were not given access to the "bonus" rooms since the listing does indicate queen and twin beds in addition to the 4 master bedrooms. We inquired about it with the house cleaner and were told that if we were to have access she would have known about that. In fairness I did not make an inquiry with the owner which would have given them the opportunity to either give us the access or explain why it wasn't included. If renting and this area is desired I would recommend specifically addressing this when renting. Once again I learned about the folly of "assuming". In summation we enjoyed our stay and once again had a great visit to Rocky Point. Playa Encanto remains our favorite beach area in Penasco.

Bruce is an amazing owner to work with. He answers you right away with any questions or help that you might need and don't even get me started about the house, AMAZING!! We had so much fun and definitely will be returning again!

The location of this property is Paradise!! The beach was more than we expected!! The house was perfect for our family. The four spacious masters with own bathroom and beach views could not have been more perfect! Can't wait to come back!! The owners were easy to work with and if we had a problem they were easy to reach and quick to respond!

The beach I’m front of the home was the best part of the home...with that said, there were some things about the home that did surprised us. -No WiFi -No reception so we could not contact the owner with concerns. -furniture was very outdated worn out -no gas I’m fire pit -TVs in the downstair bedrooms did not work -The house was not as clean as we expected. Pros -Beach (beautiful/ clean/ no rocks) -Easy checkin and checkout/flexible -Gas BBQ -Good AC in whole house *keep in mind the town is about a 30-40 min. Drive

We had a few hiccups with miscommunication on both of our parts but overcame it smoothly and we couldn't be happier! What a fantastic house with the Perfect Beach! Plenty of room for all of us and house well stocked! We highly recommend this house!

Hassle-free check in/out. House had four master bedrooms all facing the ocean, as advertised. Also had an additional “wing” with four kids’ beds, another separate room with a queen bed and 2 additional bathrooms. There were 6 total bathrooms in the house! It was cold when we were there, so we never used the AC, but the house had units in all the rooms. The beach at the house has no rocks anywhere in sight- great for enjoying the giant sandbars when the tide goes out. An overall great property.

Our family had an amazing Christmas on the beach of playa Encanto. We had church on Christmas morning outside in the back with the beach as our view. This house had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The most important thing was that my family felt very safe. Having a beach home as beautiful as we did with all the things that was needed to enjoy the beach was all amazing and the best experience ever. We had no problems with checking in or out. The owners allowed us to check in two hour early and that was nice of then. Ericka and Bruce thank you for allowing my family to enjoy your home during our Christmas vacation. Thank you for allowing us to add to more people to our party. We cant wait to have another experience in your home.
