Save money and make your food at the house. House details: This 2800 sq. ft. home was built to entertain groups. It's located on beautiful Sabin Lake and sits directly across the lake from the top rated Legends Golf Course. Shallow water, sandy lake bottom, great for kids. The main floor consists of the mudroom with front load washer/dryer, fully stocked kitchen (crock pot, blender, waffle maker etc), large center island and table, living room with TV and gas fireplace. The master suite has a queen bed, TV, double sinks, large shower and bathtub. The 2nd bedroom on this floor has a queen bed and is next to the bathroom that has a shower/tub. The downstairs consists of a large family room with comfy sectional couch. A 60' TV w/ sound bar is great for watching sports and movies. There is a walk up bar area with a sink and another full size fridge with freezer so you have plenty of room for food/drinks. Bedroom 3 is on this lower level and has a queen size bed. Bedroom 4 is a custom built bunk room that has 2 twin beds over 2 full beds. There is a large full bathroom on this level with double sinks, bath/shower combo. There is a deck off the upstairs dining area with a gas grill and sitting area. Walk down the steps to a large patio with 2 tables, chairs, fire pit and nice gradual slope to the lake. Enjoy the use of our paddle boat, 2 paddle boards and 2 kayaks and explore beautiful Sabin Lake. Our lake shore is sandy and gradual slope so it is perfect for kids. The lake shore is the main reason we bought this lot! Fish or just hang out on the dock. We have lots of sand toys, floaties, life jackets for you to use. There are hundreds of miles of hiking and biking trails just across the street. The trails offer a dynamic path along the streams and large forested areas. The trails connect to the well known Mesabi Trail (which runs from Grand Rapids to Ely). We paid extra attention to detail and kept the renter in mind when we designed this home. This is the second time we’ve stayed at this property and overall we were pleased with it. The on the water location with the walk out beach is great and access to paddle boat and kayaks was also nice. We had several bonfires as well. There are many bedrooms/bathrooms and comfortably fit our group with 3 kids.
A few cons during our stay: one downside was that we loved the shuffle board when we were there last and that was broken. Also the wii was missing. There was also several very large tree branches down when we arrived that we had to move.

The accommodations were a good fit for our group of six adults and four kids. Well equipped kitchen with all utensils and appliances. Nice airy bed rooms and large common spaces. The sofa needs replacement. Overall a very satisfactory experience for all of us.

Overall great size house and location for what we were looking for. Great sandy beach area for swimming and plenty of water toys available. Only negative to the trip was the amount of cleaning requested before check out on top of the additional cleaning fee charged at booking.

We have gone on a vacation with the same family for over 10 years and always stay at a VRBO around MN. Well, this place definitely takes a top spot in that list of places we've been!
We have 4 adults, 7 kids(15, 13, 13, 12, 10, 9, 9). The rooms were as described and great for the kids. Plenty of space. The kitchen had everything we needed with utensils and whatnot. Seating for all of us for dinner. We didn't have a fire because it was too hot, but the fire ring looked like an awesome place to hang out and enjoy some s'mores. The beach was great. Good sand and a good amount of weedless space to swim and hangout. The amount of water amenities was spot on and more.
If you are contemplating, look no further, you will enjoy your stay if you stay here.

Where do I start? I’ve stayed at over 50 VRBO properties and own a few myself. I’m hypercritical to say the least. This home is wonderful. It is cozy and warm and very well-appointed. My family stayed for 3 nights a weekend in late February, and spent a few days skiing and snow tubing. This was a wonderful home to make a big breakfast and return to at the end of a long day. We loved the spacious setting where all three families could spread out. We hope to come back to experience this property in the summer! If you are reading reviews to determine if this property is a good choice….BOOK IT NOW!

We stayed here with three other families while our kids raced at Giant's Ridge. The house was very nice, clean and large enough for everyone to have a bed. The owner was friendly, great to work with and accommodating. We will definitely stay here again!

What a beautiful home. It was perfect for our family of 10. The bunk bed room and the toys and books were perfect for our 3 grandchildren. We really appreciated having a crib and high chair for the 18 month old and the 3 and 6 year olds had so much fun with the toys and games. . The “big kids” enjoyed the shuffle board and big screen tv’s and the games. It was perfect for enjoying the Super Bowl and celebrating a birthday. We could all fit comfortably at the dining table and in the living room and rec room. The furniture and beds were super comfortable. The kitchen is beautiful with absolutely everything you might need. Having the extra fridge downstairs was super handy for beverages and extra food. The house was immaculate and beautifully decorated. It was so nice to have the two fire places. We saw some amazing sunsets over the lake. What an amazing quiet and beautiful property. I would highly recommend this property. The owner was great to communicate with and super accommodating.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property and have already booked again for next year! The house has everything you need for cooking, entertainment, meal prep, dining, hanging out by the lake, having a bonfire, or snuggling up on the couch to watch a movie. The kids loved the sandy beach and the water was shallow and they were able to walk in it all the way out to the dock.

Northern paradise
For the past 24 years we've rented a cabin every summer. Myself, brothers and families - total of 12- look forward to this annual tradition. This cabin is by far one of our favorites. Plenty of room, tons of amenities, very clean, beds/ furniture comfortable and new, great lake access and beach, awesome fire pit and plenty of outside seating. We laughed hard, relaxed in the lake, had a ping pong tournament and made many great memories. Highly recommend staying at this property.

Great Lake House
We spent a longer weekend there with the family. This was our second time here as we had some much fun last year. The beach is nice and sandy and we got to use the Lily pad which our kids loved. We used the stand up paddle boards and kayaks and paddled over to the Legend golf course #17 to see the course. There was plenty of room for all 4 families to gather around in and outside the house. Great communication from the Owner and very responsive!
