About this apartment rental
Beautiful 2 bed/2 full bath condo, located directly on the Seawall on the 9'th floor. Walk across the street to Galveston's new "Babe's Beach". Completely unobstructed view of the ocean; the building has a 24 hour concierge on site, and the building has an elevator. Onsite amenities include onsite community laundry, tennis court, onsite pool, security, trash, water and sewer.
Tile in every room provides for an allergy free stay. Modern kitchen has utensils, plates and cups and with stainless steel appliances.
Kitchen comes fully stocked with dishes, pots and pans, and basic cooking utensils.
Open concept dining room and living room have stunning ocean front views.
One bedroom has a king size bed, and another bedroom has a queen size bed. Bedroom 1 has a private full bath, inside the bedroom, and large walk-in closet. Bedroom 2 has an ocean view, with a closet with a sliding door, and the bathroom is located just outside the door of the bedroom and can be shared with guests who are using the living room area.
Property has a pool and tennis courts.
Close to restaurants, Wal-Mart, and transportation - Galveston trolley line runs in front of condominium property on Seawall Blvd and in back of property on Stewart.

The place was clean and great location for the beach. We were blindside by parking fee. It said the price you see is what you pay by plus tax. Then tacked on a 37.00 parking fee. The bedroom by the balcony was a little hot.

Beach view was great. Parking was easy to condo tower. Rooms were clean. Kitchen had all necessary supplies needed for our stay.

No shampoo, and no body wash? Isn’t the Vrbo host supposed to supply this? I had to take the liquid soap from the sink and use it as a body wash! The pressure from the shower head was also pretty low. This property is somewhat run down. The tile in the hallway where the elevators are is just bare concrete as it looks like they are replacing the tiles but started and never finished. The metal storm shutters are rusted half way open. The sliding glass doors have absolutely no insulation so that when there’s high winds outside the wind blows through the doors and creates a very loud high pitched whistling sound while you’re trying to sleep. Otherwise the styling of the apartment was cute and the AC worked well. Lots of beach themed art work. The view of the ocean was great but there was some road noise from the street directly below the unit. It has four chairs out on the somewhat wide but skinny balcony. Also has a dishwasher which is nice. Overall the property seemed a little old and run down but acceptable if looking for something cheap.
