The staff were extremely friendly and the breakfasts were amazing.
There was a carnival on the Friday night and most awful music went on until 3.30am.

The breakfast contained everything - fresh fruit, danish, toasted bread, gonfia, bread rolls, tomatoes, jams, ham, eggs- it was amazing. Also had my cup of coffee refilled 3 times.
The building is historical and has beautiful walls made out of natural stone. I stayed in a room on ground floor level, the entrance of the room consisted of two doors- a wooden door made out of a wooden grid and an inner door with glass inlays. So you could close the outer door to block visibility and still have a stream of air entering the room.
Maybe my room was a bit dark, which could totally be an advantage in summer (it stays cool then)

The breakfast and the staff in the morning were both good and when the shutters were open it was far more inviting
We were disappointed when we arrived (late afternoon in November) The place looked like it was closed down with shutters across the windows. On reaching the door we found the instructions for entering. When we got into the inner courtyard it did not feel anymore welcoming as everything was grey and all the doors to the bedrooms are grey slatted doors. Our room was number 12. It had a small window which faced a stone wall which was within reaching distance. The room was clean and freshly painted but the lighting was dim. The bathroom was clean but in need of a bit of an upgrade. We certainly did not have a mountain view! If I had been staying more than 1 night I would have asked to be moved. We had a look in room 8 on our way out and that was on the front and resembled the pictures
