Multi-generations gather together from different parts of the country to reconnect and be together for graduations, weddings or holidays. Spread out on three levels with bedrooms and baths arranged for privacy and enjoy your stay in Gainesville on Lake Lanier. The property slopes to the water for an easy walk to the dock--not totally flat, but gently sloped. It is easily manageable on the well groomed path. The house is only a short drive from downtown Gainesville (10 minutes) as well as Lake Lanier Islands (25 minutes), Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta (20 minutes), North Georgia Premium Outlets in Dawsonville (25 minutes) and even Dahlonega (35 minutes). This house has beds located on 3 levels which allows for some privacy. (Upstairs room with single beds must access bathroom through a bedroom or go downstairs.) For outdoor living, there are three deck areas – two are covered--one with 3 ceiling fans--and a deck by the outdoor kitchen and fire pit. For entertainment, there are board games, a large flat screen, smart TV and a shuffleboard table on the terrace level. While lakeside, sit on the private dock and enjoy the sun on the upper part of large party dock or stay below for more shade or fishing. Either location allows for a great view of lake activities. There are boats and jet skis for rent at various marinas on the lake, the closest being Port Royale. Feel free to bring your own boat and leave it in our boat slip at the private dock.
