Located in Little Torch Key, this attractive cottage for $150 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. These cottages are not fancy, but clean and comfortable. Plenty of space for your boat trailer, public ramp just around the corner. We have 2 cottages on this property. This is unit #1. This cottage does not have an ocean view but is on the open water. Just a few steps you can walk out and lounge by the ocean. Cozy cottage in a nice location exactly as described in the listing! Has two cottages side by side so would be great for families wanting to travel together. Enjoyed a peaceful sunrise on the water. Will definitely return.

Our third time staying at this cottage, and we’re always so pleased with the combination of the feel of old school Florida and the fact that it’s such a great value. A/c works great, king-size bed is pretty comfortable and enough kitchen supplies to cook a meal. Also a brand new grill where you can barbecue while looking at the water. If you don’t feel like cooking, Kiki’s Sandbar is a great bar/restaurant within walking distance. Great alternative to paying $600/night in Key West! A+++

There were a few things that need fixed. There were screws sticking out of the wall where a towel holder used to be that are at head level.
As others said, the bed was not very comfy. The air conditioners are loud and can make watching tv a little difficult.
However, the kitchen and appliances all work great, the water pressure is outstanding and the water is HOT.
Definitely a house for just 1 or 2 people.

Decent location but lacked some amenities. Only one roll of toilet paper; paint supplies in the middle of the closet along with spiderwebs and dead flies; kitchen supplies could be updated and expanded (eg matching dinnerware, more glassware & kitchen utensils). Towels and linens were nice.

We arrived to the property after check-in time and the property was still left dirty with towels on the floor and beds unmade from the last guests. The owner said that she would make it right by buying us a drink while it was cleaned but never did. The entry room with the second bed is not air conditioned, making it impossible to sleep there in the summer. The rest was fine and we got by for the time we were there.

The property was perfect for my son and I for a 3 day fishing trip. Cottage was very clean but not spotless. Plenty of space for us to park our car with small boat trailer. Susan was very responsive. Thanks

the place was a total wreck outside. I am embarrassed to show the pics of the place. They were "renovating" but nothing told us to expect that. The inside was ok, but in a state of moderate disrepair. Plan on bringing everything you may need, only the bare minimum there not even coffee filters. No extras like board games or cards for when it is raining. The mattress was sagging in the middle and we woke up with sore backs. The host said she had a new mattress and had planned on changing it out, which she supposedly did saying we had a "new mattress" when we were out on the water the second day. Turns out it was not a new mattress but fixed the box spring and covered the old mattress so we wouldn't know? It was little better and since we were only there a couple days we put up with it but we won't do that again. If you can, spend the extra money, there has to be nicer places. We didn't expect the Ritz but wow!

If you are looking for a perfect little rustic cabin with a beautiful view of the gulf then here is your place. The furniture was very coastal and cabin like with full kitchen. A nice place to get away and relax. Any issues were handled by management right away.

The cottages were not as described on the VRBO listing. For starters, we pulled up to the cottage & they are total crap holes on the outside. Siding is falling off with holes in it & paint coming off. They have put zero effort into these 2 units.
I thought, well the pictures looked clean inside so maybe it’s not that bad. Well it was really bad on the inside as well. The pictures were deceiving. Holes in walls, major ant problem, saw 3 roaches during our stay but the worst part of all is these 2 units have mold damage. There was mold water damage in all the window sills in the bedroom where we were sleeping. The paneling is bowing in the Florida room from water coming in after the rainstorm. The whole place smells musty. If you have any issues with mold, do not stay here. No one should stay here, they are not livable & I will be contacting VRBO to get these off of here so no one else has to go through what we did.
I started having symptoms of my ears feeling clogged that progressed into non-stop sneezing/congestion & by the end of the trip I had full on flu like symptoms, very unwell feeling.
When I spoke to the manager she informed me that these are advertised as “fishing cottages”. I told her so it’s ok for fishermen to stay in an unhealthy place. She also informed me that these units will be torn down soon & building new ones, so they know that they are total crap holes & still taking people’s $ for them. So basically they are being condemned. She just said sorry & will refund me for 2 nights. We tryed to leave the unit but couldn’t find anywhere to stay so left our vacation early. Keep looking, DO NOT STAY HERE.

We went away to chill from a busy life. The house is 1 bedroom and a kitchen/family room. In addition it here is a daybed in front sun room. The cabin is old. Repairs are needed but that didn’t stop us from chilling. I encourage the owner to do outdoor renovations before she rents to others.

Nice property. Quiet, but there is a restaurant/bar near by. It never got loud. As others have mentioned, it is a little dated and could use some minor upgrades. One of the biggest being lighting outside. We arrived late, so it was dark. There are no lights facing the street so we almost missed the property. The light outside, near the door, looked like it had seen better days. It was very dim even though it looked like it was made with LEDs. Inside was nice and simple. Had all the normal amenities minus a washer/dryer. No biggie. Standard size fridge/freezer to store drinks and your leftovers. The bed was comfortable, but on the older side. There was a dip in the middle. The bathroom setup was weird. On one side there was the toilet and sink. Behind that was the shower. A wall divided the two. They were connected by a narrow "hall". This isn't really a concern, just something to point out. I am 6'1", about 250lbs and it was narrow. Someone who may be a little larger or wider would have a difficult time getting through. But there are two doors that lead to the bathroom, so there is another way to get to the other side. The outside property has some space if you want to play some games such as horse shoes or cornhole. There are some trees at the edge of the property that limit the view of the ocean. I would suggest cutting those down to provide a more relaxing environment when lounging outside. Other than that, nice place and would gladly book again.
