Beautiful, well maintained and equipped oceanfront duplex (west side not the entire house) perfect for family vacations. Views – high ceilings on first floor provide light and panoramic beach and ocean views, second deck off of oceanfront bedrooms. Relax on the main deck in rockers and picnic table. Dune deck provides a wonderful spot for sunrise and sunset viewing. Vacant lot to the west provides 230 degree views of the beach and ocean. Child friendly – equipped with high chair, crib, booster chair, gates and pack & play. gates on each end of the deck provide some security for pets. Second floor bedroom offers bunk beds & futon – plus TV. Entertainment – large flat screen HD smart TV in family room equipped with Blueray DVR, , TVs in all bedrooms. Cable TV with recorder ~ record on 1 receiver and watch on all. Card table and chairs, plus DVDs, Books & Games. Two adult bikes are available for your use. Two recliners in living room. Large Dining Room table able to seat 8-10. Communications – high speed wireless WiFi, two telephones one with answering machine. Unlimited long distance. Beach – medium depth beach just a few steps from the deck, plenty of room to spread out. Beach chairs & sand toys stored in Guest Closet underneath house. Private outside hot and cold water shower and hose to rinse off. Fully stocked kitchen with dishwasher, stove, microwave and refrigerator. Modern Cabinets and granite counter tops. Weber Gas grill underneath house. Additional appliances - we try to make sure everything you will need is available. Appliances include: air fryer, coffee maker, single cup Keurik coffee maker, ice tea maker, tea pot, deep fryer, slow cooker, toaster oven, iron and ironing board. Hair dryers in all bathrooms. Suggestions for additional items welcome. Great location – a favorite spot for surf fishermen, walking distance to convenience store with gas, grill, beverages and food. Dollar General within walking distance. Bedrooms - 2nd floor Master Bedroom Suite with king size bed 2nd floor Oceanfront bedroom with queen size bed 2nd floor Childs bedroom with bunk beds and double futon First floor bedroom with queen size bed Clean House - We have a very thorough, well trained cleaning crew. Most weeks we will inspect the house to be sure everything is100% before your arrival. You can check-in by 3 and do not have to depart until 10. Privacy - Vacant lot to the west. Bike Path - now complete all the way to Coast Guard Rd Maximum 2 dogs welcome with a $150 non-refundable pet fee. Local owner lives 15 minutes away, ready to meet your needs. The is a house for families - minimum age to rent 23. Due to septic system the MAXIMUM is 10 people, we usually do not rent to parties larger than that. Ideal max is 6 adults and 4 children. If all adults the max capacity is 8. The second floor street side bedroom is equipped for children with bunk beds and a double futon. No hidden fees - linens and housekeeping included. Great location oceanfront and close to a public dock on the sound (to paddle board), fantastic views, comfortable well-appointed house, and welcoming host. We enjoyed morning coffee and dinner on the deck. We love Emerald Isle and now have a favorite house. We can’t wait to return. Thank you.

We loved the location of this house. Oceanfront, gorgeous views, somewhat private beach and not crowded at all anywhere along our beach. Close to several restaurants, mini- golf, aquarium, lots of hiking! Overall, for the price and location, we would absolutely go back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at this vacation home. You can’t beat the view! The beds were comfortable and everything you could possibly need was provided in the kitchen. We enjoyed using the bikes and the grill worked perfectly. Our only complaints are that the living room furniture was filthy and really needs a good upholstery clean and the carpets upstairs need to be cleaned as well. I know it is a pet friendly home but these two factors made the house feel unclean.

Great house and great communication. Had a couple of issues when we were there but they were but were fixed by the end of day. It had plenty of room and everything was well marked and clean. Great views of the beach and dolphins.

Great property. Very comfortable place. Love the decks and the floor plan. Amazing views and we also saw dolphins! We had a punch list of items that need fixing, although it didn’t stop us from being there.

The view from this property is amazing. Watching the dolphins every evening and early morning when the tide was in seemed like they were putting on a private show for us- they were so close. If you want a beautiful quiet beach vacation with no walking and awesome views, if you want to wake up and see the ocean from your bed, this house is for you! Owners couldn’t have been nicer!

Wonderful stay! House is safe, pretty, and absolutely as advertised. Owner answered all questions and made check in very easy. House is right on beach. It is very well stocked. It has 2 nice bikes. The Weber grill works great. The guest closet has some fun beach items which were very useful. Would absolutely rent again!

John and Gloria have a lovely home and are great hosts. It’s full of everything you need for your stay at the beach. The house is clean and well cared for. Owners are quick to respond to messages. For those familiar with Emerald Isle, the location of this house is ideal for running to the store if you need something and heading out on adventures like the aquarium.

Everything was perfect! The house was exceptionally clean, beds comfortable, and view was spectacular! We enjoyed watching the dolphins from the deck, searching for shells, and sampling the local cuisine. One of the best properties I have stayed through VRBO!

We've been renting oceanfront dog-friendly homes in Emerald Island for the last 15 years and this is one of the nicest we've found. The spacious gated deck and comfortable furnishings throughout made for a wonderful stay.

The house was a perfect layout! The views were breathtaking! Perfect location! The kitchen had everything you need. The house could use a little attention and a good cleaning. The beach chairs need to be replaced and there was no umbrella . All in all I would stay again.

We had wonderful time. This is by far the cleanest vacation house I have rented. The kitchen is fully and nicely stocked. The deck was very nice and having gates on all exits was very helpful. Views were fabulous.

Location is great, convenient to everything the island offers. We could easily see dolphins all week, from the decks or even from inside the house when it was too chilly to go out. The house is in the process of being updated and is lovely. A new mattress would make it perfect. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home with us and our 4-legged kids.
