Situated in Saugerties, this charming house for $275 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Spacious home, just off of Main Street. One (1) mile from HITS. Walk to stores, restaurants, movies, and antique shops. Close to the Hudson River, Catskill Mountains (Ski Resorts), and other outdoor activities. Lots of activities off and after the slopes. 4 bedrooms with 2 queen and 2 single beds (sleeps 6) and 1.5 baths. Located 1 mile off NYS Thruway (route 87), it is easy to get to. Come enjoy the many activities this area has to offer. NOTE: DUE TO THE UNCERTAINTY RELATIVE TO THE COVID-19 SITUATION WE ARE RELAXING OUR CANELLATION POLICY ON A CASE BY CASE BASIS.

We love this big house in Saugerties. Joseph made it so easy to set up our stay. The house is roomy and you feel right at home. There's a large kitchen and dining room table, a spacious living room, comfy bedrooms, a nice yard, easy access to bookstores, shops and eateries right around the corner from the house. It's a short ride to Price Choppers for groceries and it's close to the Thruway too.

The house is lovely! We did some research and discussed the house was built in 1890 over a 130 years old! Which made the stay even more unique for us. The kids loved how big the house was and the multiple bedrooms. It is within walking distance to great shops and a very nice bookstore. There is a distillery right next door. We travel to Saugerties every year for Thanksgiving to be with family and plan to return next year!

We had a great girls weekend in Saugerties and Rhinebeck at Cakepalooza, Wool&folk, and NY sheep&wool. Best location, walking distance from one of the festivals! So good, we’re booked for next year!

I loved this house! Main Street was right around the corner and we didn’t have to get in our car the whole weekend. Great restaraunts nearby and even the local church! Would love to stay again.. great old farmhouse. Fun weekend with my girls.

Everything was perfectly clean.
Central air worked great and it was hot that weekend. The house is right downtown and close to restaurants.

Our extended family came up to visit my son at college. House was as advertised, older with a great porch, easy parking, clean, and well-appointed. It is not modern, which provides some charm, but is well-maintained and very comfortable. Right in town and walkable to a wide variety of active restaurants and pubs. Have no complaints about the house or interactions with the owners (none during our visit as everything worked). It truly has 1.5 baths, so some flexibility is needed for showers, etc., but we knew that going in, so it was not a big deal.

Though the inside of the house was fine, the outside had peeling paint everywhere including the front porch which wasn't useable due to condition. Location is very high traffic and loud. The site picture did not show any peeling paint. No screens on the windows so couldn't be opened without insects coming in and some like in the kitchen couldn't be opened. Found out after booking that parking was in an adjacent lot. Made bringing items in to the house and later bringing out difficult. Only a center light in the kitchen and over the stove. Made counter very dark to work in especially at night A light above sink didn't work as well as bedroom bulbs. Had one with us to replace. No shades in downstairs windows allowed traffic car lights in constantly as well as lights from surrounding businesses. Very much a mixed neighborhood. This house is surrounded by commercial properties. Shower is tiny and had mildew. I cleaned it as best I could. TV worked well and couches were comfortable. Queen bed in blue room also comfortable. The bed in yellow bedroom squeaks. 2 twin beds seem good but were not slept on.

The house was immaculate and well-appointed. Very convenient location with lots of amenities. My teen girls loved that they were able to walk to the shops in the village. They especially loved the great bookstore! Would happily stay here again.

Perfect for a long weekend
Property was perfect for what we needed it for. A few friends and I came up to NY for a long ski weekend. The house is in a perfect location, right next to a small town. The rooms were nice and clean. Being able to use the fire place was a great benefit! Will come back again!

The check in/out process was very easy. The house was very well kept and the neighborhood was really great! We’ll try coming back again in some warmer months to take advantage of the local hiking too.

Thankful family
This house was the perfect location for our small family (6 adults) Thanksgiving celebration. While the house is somewhat dated, there was plenty of seating, both at the table and in the living room and the kitchen was nicely stocked. It was in a great location for walking into town to window shop and check out various restaurants. The owners were easy to reach and very responsive.

Great fall weekend!
We booked this property for our annual fall hiking trip and couldn't have picked a better house or location for our needs. The house is huge, extremely clean and in walking distance from cute shops and restaurants downtown. Woodstock NY was only a short drive away! We will definitely be back. Thanks again Joe!
