Situated in Saugerties, this lovely house for $286 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Our cozy home has three bedrooms and one bathroom with a large backyard and private parking. Located in the village of Saugerties, we are within walking distance to restaurants, shops, movie theater, and the farmers market in town. We are minutes away from HITS, Diamond Mills, and are close to the Saugerties Lighthouse and Opus 40. Close to many hiking trails and Hunter Mountain Ski Resort is about a 30 minute drive.

This was perhaps the nicest VRBO we’ve ever stayed at as a family! It was an immaculately clean, super nice house with 3 spacious bedrooms, a huge backyard, and right near the center of town and a large sports park. Lisa is an amazing communicator and so considerate. She even left chocolates and materials to make s’mores for us! Even my cynical teen son who isn’t a big fan of nature said it was great! We would definitely stay here again.

My mom, sister and I took a few days to enjoy the beautiful quiet of this home and neighborhood . We celebrated my sisters 49th birthday together while enjoying the fireplace, backyard and wonderfully decorated home. We were left with everything we needed plus thoughtful touches like candles and s’mores and a gift for my sister. Wonderful memories made. Thankful and grateful!

My family and I stayed at this lovely home for a horse show and couldn’t have had a better time! The home was clean, nicely decorated, and convenient. Check in was easy and the house had everything we needed and then some. The s’mores were a special touch and were greatly appreciated. I have already booked it for the next show!

My hubby and I really enjoyed our stay in Lisa and Chip's lovely home! It was clean as a whistle and was a nice, cool retreat from one of the hottest weeks of the year. The backyard and patio are gorgeous. We loved all the little extras like smore fixings, bath products and coffee. They even left a little gift for my hubby's monumental birthday, which we was incredibly thoughtful! The location was perfect and within walking distance of great restaurants and shops in cute Saugerties. Be sure to hit Main Street, the Dutch and Village Pizza! There is a set of baseball fields right behind the house and we were entertained by fireworks on Saturday night. You really get a hometown feel in this quaint home. It was the perfect place to stay while visiting the Hudson River Valley -- what a great home base! Thanks to Lisa and Chip for a fun stay!

10 out of 10 experience at this well equipped, very clean, home in a quiet neighborhood. What the pictures don’t show is the living room now has a gas fireplace that just makes this place perfect for post skiing relaxation. About a 30 minute drive to Hunter was very easy. Easy checkin/checkout from reasonable hosts. Kitchen was fully equipped which I can’t say for all rentals we’ve done in the past.

Well appointed house in quiet neighborhood close to the restaurants and shops in the small downtown area. Host communication was friendly, proactive and informative. Wonderful stay in a warm, inviting home. Thank you for a great experience!

A few nurses and I stayed at Lisa and Chip’s house over NY sheep and wool festival weekend. Their house was perfect! So clean and welcoming. I wish we stayed an extra day to enjoy the town more! Walking distance to cakeapalooza, and under a half hour drive to wool&folk, and rhinebeck. This beautiful home had everything we needed! Cozy beds too! Hope we can come back soon!!

This cottage is the most magnificent place I have ever spent on a vacation. The cottage offers full amenities and more including an outdoor living space. From the beautiful fireplace and open concept inside to the outdoor fire pit with amazing seating and views. This is the Diamond in the rough. We were in town for a wedding In Saugerties and decided to book our stay at a VRBO instead of a hotel. I’m so thrilled we chose this one! The location was great, within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants in town, and also close to the wedding venue at the Diamond Mills Hotel. My family and I were in awe of the cleanliness and all of the thoughtful touches throughout the property. Each room was so nicely decorated and the house had absolutely everything to provide a wonderful stay. The owners were great. They had provided information about the house, city, local restaurants and areas to go sightseeing. We had a fabulous stay and felt right at home. Would highly recommend staying here- you won’t be disappointed!!!

This property was exactly as advertised, lovely, convenient to the show grounds. Owner was communicative and clearly goes the extra mile to make your stay as easy as possible. Wish we had gotten to use the outdoor space & make s’mores, but hopefully next time! 100% looking to stay again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this charming cottage. With the exception of the evening katydid serenade (also charming), it is a quite location in a lovely neighborhood. It is extremely well appointed, clean, and just a joy to come "home" to after a full day of visiting the historical locations in the river valley. A++

We found the home to be a great location for our family getaway. The house was very clean, the decor was inviting and the kitchen was well equipped. Exceeded Expectations
We loved every part of our stay! The decor and attention to detail is fantastic plus all of the extras (bathroom items, kitchen snacks). We enjoyed sitting on the back porch and by the fire pit. The AC kept the house cool during some really hot days.
It was also great to walk to town and experience the wonderful choices of restaurants and shops.
Lisa was a great host and very responsive to our questions.
We can’t wait to return to experience so much more in the area.

This property is half a block from municipal electric vehicle charging (level 2) at the senior center, which allowed us to leave the car plugged in for several hours after an afternoon driving around to different cideries and then stroll back over to move the car to the driveway after dinner. The bathroom does have a pocket door, so sometimes you have to be a little patient getting a grip on the door and getting it rolling. They really are super hosts!

Fantastic house in perfect neighborhood!
This house was exactly as it seemed in the ad, perfectly clean, and had all the needed amenities. We have stayed in this area before so we already knew how nice it was. This house is advertised as "cozy" which usually means "tiny" but it really wasn't small at all! Bedrooms all had enough room for queen beds, luggage, and space to move around the room; living room into the open kitchen was a great size too. The back deck with fire pit, grill, and backyard were even better than we expected. And that fireplace was such a treat!

This house was amazing and was so clean. The owners communicate with you promptly when you need them. The town is cute however we were in the area to ski at Hunter Mountain. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you for accommodating such a great place to stay!

Cozy, relaxing week in Saugerties. No surprises with the house -- exactly as seen on the computer, but lots of extra touches or comfort like teas, snacks, candles, soaps. Easy walking distance to town which is very COVID-conscious. Many restaurants closed Tuesday/Wednesday, but always options. The weather was grey and cold, but we still had a wonderful week of relaxation.

Lovely home with so many thoughtful touches. Comfortable, warm, cute. Lovely fire and outdoor patio. So convenient to Hunter Mountain skiing. Lisa was so kind and flexible to accommodate our delayed departure due to snow. Thank you again!
