We love the neighborhood (which we know well) and always prefer it to over-stressed tourist spots. This is still real Rome where people actually live and work. San Saba nearby is wonderful, and the more spectacular Aventino and cutesier Testaccio also close. Good transportation both from Airport and busses/metro to rest of city. Excellent, helpful host.

We had to change plans a couple of times during our planned stay, the host was always very helpful and accommodating. Her restaurant recommendations were spot on!
The location is very convenient to the Ostiense Train station which makes arrival and departure to the airport very convenient. The neighbourhood is very quiet yet still a reasonable walking distance to many of Romes's attractions - this is the place if that's what your looking for

We very much enjoyed our stay at this property. It was in a great location, close to cafe and bars. The apartment was clean, spacious and had a feeling of home. Anna was wonderful, great communication from the time we booked until after we left. She also left notes and tips for our stay. I definitely would recommend this property.

The apartment was spacious comfortable and easy to settle in to. The area was quiet and peaceful. The kitchen was well equipped for home cooking. There are good places to eat out nearby, notably Trattoria Pennestri. Its well connected too, only ten minutes walk to stations with fast access to Rome central train station and to Fiumicino Airport. Access to the centre was fast, 20 minutes by bus or metro, or 10 minutes (under €10) by taxi. The wifi was exceptionally fast. Our host Ana was warm and welcoming and provided us with very useful information about restaurants and local shops.

After a bit of miscommunication during the booking, all was great. I really liked the apartment and the host was very nice. She had good recommendations and made sure we had good directions to the train so we didn't have to pay for a cab to the airport.

We had a wonderful stay in Tastaccio exploring the nearby sights. The Forum and Baths of Caracalla were within walking distance as was Eataly and restaurants. Our host was very helpful in getting us orientated and making sure we were comfortable.

Everything fitted the bill here. Perfect location with all the main highlights of Rome in short distance. The apartment was yet in a very quiet neighborhood guaranteeing a good night sleep. The apartment itself was well equipped and clean and Anna Paola is a very friendly host. So a definite recommendation!

Quiet neighborhood, comfortable accommodations
I recently stayed here for 11 nights. The apartment house is in a hilly neighborhood about a 10 minute walk from the Pyramide metro station and the commercial center of Testaccio. The apartment was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was excellent, with a gas stove, and the bathroom small but spotless. WiFi worked without a hitch. The apartment had a good feeling to it; lime and pomegranate trees outside the windows and lots of quiet. The bed in the main bedroom was VERY comfortable, and AC was available. The host was obliging, answered all questions patiently, and made arrangements for a driver to and from the airport. I'd certainly try to stay here on my next trip to Rome.

We enjoyed our one week stay at Anna Paola's place. It is ideally located and we could access all the major monuments by metro, buses and even by feet.
Anna and Matteo's welcome was very warm and left at our disposal lots of brochures on what to see and where to eat. Anna even sent us a list of restaurants and bio markets where we could do our shopping.
The apartment is extremely nice and fresh (we appreciated though from time to time the air conditioner).
We highly recommend this place, not only for the kindness and caring of our hosts but also for its location. We will definitely stay once more there shall we come back to Roma.

Wonderful host, convenient location, spotless bright apartment with thoughtful amenities
Anna was kind, helpful and very informative about the neighborhood and things to do in Rome. She was a terrific host. We appreciated the goodies she left for us in the kitchen. The apartment had a very well-equipped kitchen, the beds were super comfortable (a relief after some rather hard beds in other places), and it's a lovely classic 1930s building with gorgeous floors and high ceilings. The area is quiet, which made sleeping easy, but the Ostiense/Pyramide metro and train stop are close by so it's easy to get around, and there is an Eataly nearby as well as many restaurants just past the metro station. I didn't want to leave and I hope to return!

This beautifully appointed apartment was the perfect base for our trip to Rome and was a delight to return to after busy days sightseeing. Being so close to the station and tube made travelling easy but many important venues were within walking distance which enabled us to make the most of the wonderful weather.
Anna Paola made us very welcome and was full of helpful advice as to how to plan our trip and also find attractions off the beaten track. We were generally very lucky and did not need to join any organised tours in order to see even the most celebrated destinations. The large amount of information at the apartment and information offered by Anna Paola gave us a great grounding and enabled us to have a lovely holiday.
The apartment itself is lovely with very comfortable beds and all the equipment you could ask for. The quiet location with good nearby amenities make it the perfect place to stay when exploring this beautiful city and we are happy to heartily recommend it.

My family of four spent six nights at Anna Paola's flat. The flat is located in a quiet residential neighborhood, but close enough to city center to access great public transportation and even to walk to major sites. If you are seeking that quiet, but accessible location, this is perfect. Coming back was a refuge at the end of busy days. Anna Paola was completely available for any assistance, and helped us with reservations and recommendations. The flat is large, bright, and extremely clean and comfortable. All amenities worked perfectly. I highly recommend this for families with children traveling to Rome, as it offered quiet and peace in a very busy city! We enjoy traveling the "local" way, and this was the perfect fit for us. Thank you Anna Paola.

Beautiful apartment
We enjoyed staying at this lovely apartment, which was full of light and everything else we could possibly need. Modern kitchen and bathroom and comfortable beds. The apartment is also very convenient to the bus, metro and train stations. Anna Paola is very warm and friendly, offering us plenty of recommendations for food and sightseeing, as well as buying us a few things for breakfast, which was very sweet and appreciated. The next time we are in Rome, we would happily stay here again!

A wonderful stay...
This place was a great combination of a clean and comfortable apartment (great beds!), with easy access to many things (15ish minute walk to the Colesseum/Roman ruins), but with a local vibe that was much appreciated. It was a 10 minute walk to a neighborhood with some wonderful local restaurants that were not overrun by tourists. Close to the train as well.
Highly recommended!

Nice comfortable stay
The apartment is in nice quite neighborhood. We loved getting plenty of sunshine and nice breeze through the big windows. Parrots visited the garden every morning while we were there. The apartment is thoughtfully furnished with all you need. Stores are nearby. The trainstation is walkable. We walked to the Colosseo and took the train to vatican and other parts of Rome.
Anna is very helpful and quick to respond. The taxi service she booked for us was on time, professional and hassel free.
We had a very nice stay!

Love, love, love this apartment
Staying in Anna’s apartment was the absolutely best part of our 19 day trip to Italy! We stayed one week and couldn’t have been happier! It is spotlessly clean, modern, well organized and comfortable. The kitchen is a dream and has everything one needs to cook. The neighborhood is clean and quiet and filled with heavenly scents of honeysuckle. A supermarket is a short 5-10 minute walk away, as is the Piramid Metro. My daughter and I agreed we could live there permanently! Anna ia a gracious and helpful host and arranged taxis and airport transportation for us! Thank you, Anna!

Great location, comfortable and safe.
My family and I enjoyed our stay very much! We walked to nearby restaurants and were not far from colloseum. We felt like we were a part of the city, without being overcrowded. It was close to the Metro station which was great! The apartment was beautiful and had modern upgrades. Anna was very helpful and was very quick to respond to any questions I had ,both prior to the trip and during our stay. She also provided us with information on local sites and points of interest. We would definitely recommend this apartment!

Simple, clean apartment, great location
We chose the place for location (near Testaccio & close to downtown) and price/value, and it was perfect on both counts. Kitchen & bedrooms well furnished/supplied; the living room was on the simple side, but we weren't entertaining - we were out enjoying Rome! Anna Paola was great - we'll be back!

Rome gem.
Impeccably clean, spacious apartment, well equipped kitchen and close to public transport for easy travel around Rome. The best part was being close to Eataly, 5 minute walk,a foodie paradise! Gourmet food stores, restaurants and fresh produce all close at hand. Anna Paola was a gracious and personable host who was always ready to answer any questions we had. Will definitely recommend to our friends.

Wonderful apartment in Rome and incredible host!
We loved this apartment. Immaculately clean and nicely appointed in terms of furnishings and linens. As mentioned by others, very light and airy and a good central location. Only a 5 minute walk to the metro and you are in central Rome. A special thank you to Anna for answering all of my questions prior to the trip and helping with trip planning logistics. She set up the airport transfers for us as well, and the fact that she is attentive to emails and fluent in English helped immensely. I would highly recommend this rental, the neighborhood and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Great property, Great location and great parking close by
We enjoyed our stay in the apartment that has all conveniences you need for a short stay.
The location is great and what we appreciated the most was available parking close by. If you don't find parking on the street of the apartment you can drive down and there is ALWAYS unlimited parking (5 minute walk). We often stay in Rome to visit my mother and access to guaranteed parking when you get back in the evenings is very rare.
Anna Paola was great and always extremely responsive to our requests.
One minor negative is that the "feeling" you get, when in the apartment, is that it is quite "barren", e.g. it has minimalistic furniture, kitchen hardware and supplies, etc. It has everything you NEED but nothing EXTRA.
We would definitely consider reserving this apartment again for future Rome trips.
