The only issue I had was getting in. It was late, very dark. Couldn't see the key pad behind the fly screen door. A sensor light would be useful. The iron is broken in U2

From the point of view that you could easily walk everywhere in town and fabulous coffee two doors down, the position is great. The bed was comfortable as was the lounge. The tv worked well. It has the charm of a really old building. The bathroom is modern and quite spacious with lovely products and good hot water. Towels provided were lovely and plentiful but only one hand towel. The entry lock was easy to use and the fridge was spotless.

When we arrived and opened the back door we were greeted by a pile of crumbs and old slippers on the kitchen bench. But the horror was that the toilet hadn’t been cleaned and was significantly marked with the last person’s doings. There was no toilet cleaner to use. Also the cutlery wasn’t clean. It had only been rinsed and the water bottle in the fridge was leftover and the outside of the bottle had the grime from handling. It is next to the exit of a petrol station and the noise of the diesel trucks and Harley’s rolling out the exit was dreadful. The doors opening onto the front yard could not be opened nor the kitchen window. Also the interiors differ a little from the photos. There are no bathrobes that feature in the photos nor Bluetooth speaker for which directions are left. The place is up for sale and it felt like it was run more as a motel than a luxury stay and I think possibly new owners using the previous owners photos.
