Situated in Cardiff, this charming house for $387 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Cardiff by the Sea is a romantic surfing village with beautiful beaches and incredible weather. Pack your gear and head to Cardiff State Beach for surfing, swimming or just a relaxing stroll. Its restaurant row offers abundant beachfront dining. Cardiff is home to Seaside Market, VG Donuts, numerous boutiques, shops and local eateries. Nestled between the cities of Solana Beach and Encinitas it is a short distance to the city of San Diego accessible by the “Coaster” our local train service. The ' Del Mar Race Track” is 3.2 miles south and “Legoland” in Carlsbad is just 8 miles north. The World famous San Diego Zoo, San Diego Safari Park and Sea World are just 30 minutes away. Other attractions such as Disneyland and Knotts Berry Farm are just 1.5 hours north. This single level home was designed with an open concept to entertain inside and out. Grab your morning coffee and sit out on the front patio to watch the sunrise. The main living area has a 52in LED TV and a gas fireplace. It opens to the back patio/sports bar. It too has a 52in LED TV, bar fridge, gas BBQ and plenty of seating. The fully equipped kitchen allows you to prepare gourmet meals for your family and friends. It has travertine floors, granite counter tops and a floating island. It has numerous small appliances, coffee maker, toaster, blender, crockpot, rice cooker, hand mixer and dinner service for eight. You can cook in or eat out. The home has Wi-Fi throughout. The sun deck offers a year round ocean/sunset view that stretches from Oceanside to Torrey Pines. Had everything we needed, was super clean and well appointed. The only issue we had was that the internet would drop at times, not sure this was in the owner's control so we didn't contact anyone about it. the house was gorgeous! Would stay there again.

We stayed here for a wedding and other events. The kitchen is complete, the amenities fantastic and the communication great through the property notebook and host. Comfortable beds and gorgeous viewing deck with ocean views. Highly recommend!

The home was very well kept and all items for a four day stay were in place. True ocean view from top-deck and nice back yard. This was one of the best homes we've chosen over the years. Hope to come back. The owner communicated well. Thanks George!

The house is nicely updated and well equipped. It’s in a nice neighborhood that is close to downtown Encinitas and the freeway as well as the beach. The only thing I would mention is that there is a natural gas smell in the garage. It’s not that strong and the owner was very responsive when I mentioned it and came to check it with a meter. We loved our stay overall.

We had a wonderful time at the Cardiff house. The house was very clean and is only a mile to the beach, great restaurants, and shops. George was extremely responsive. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The best part is the upper deck with views of the ocean. We’d go up there every morning for yoga and breakfast, and at the end of the day for sunsets. If I were to mention any negatives it would be that you can’t regulate the heat in the house yourself. It has a set program, so if it gets cold, like it did when we were there, George will have to change the program to make it warmer from his end. Also, you can hear the Hwy which is just a few blocks down the hill. But we didn’t notice that after a while. We look forward to staying there again sometime!

I really liked this house. It's very spacious with lots of areas to hang out in, inside and outside. The master bed is amazingly comfortable and I really loved being able to access the backyard from there as well.

Perfect spot for us
This rental was perfect for our week. Quick freeway access was a big plus. The outdoor kitchen, covered patio and yard were wonderful. And the upstairs deck was ideal for early morning coffee and enjoying sunshine. The house had everything we needed and more. We will be back.

Great house with a great location
Stayed here for almost a week for a pre Thanksgiving vacation with my family. The house was very clean and great location, very close to the beach. The backyard was perfect for my kids to hang out and play around. The rooftop was a great addition to watch the sunset. Living room TV was not working but George the owner was on top of it to get it fixed for us. Would definitely come back.

Great location and easy to find/access off the Interstate, as well as, being just blocks from the ocean. It was very clean and comfortable for our family of four. The only criticism I would make is the lack of extra garbage bags, and soap/cleaner/softener for the dishwasher and washing machine. If we had needed the house for more cooking type activities and other family stuff, instead of being busy at a wedding, the limited amount of those items would have been really frustrating. Otherwise, though, the property was nice and back yard setting quite comfortable and well equipped.

Great location and easy to find/access off the Interstate, as well as, being just blocks from the ocean. It was very clean and comfortable for our family of four. We had a lovely time at this property. The backyard is great with plenty of seating. The house was very clean and had a fully stocked kitchen. The beds were so comfortable. We all slept really well. I was very happy with the location being so close to the Seaside Market and downtown Encinitas. Plenty of parking. Nice neighborhood good for walking. I would definitely come back.

Perfect Getaway House
Quiet neighborhood with great views of the ocean; clean comfortable house; great yard with both backyard bar and rooftop sunning deck. Within minutes of village, restaurants, supermarket; easy access to San Diego attractions. A great stay!
