About this house rental
Nestled in Pacific Grove, this lovely house for $340 per night is a great choice for your next trip. This is a fantastic ocean view home just steps from the beach. A two story mediterranean house with a large second floor deck extending across the entire house, with wide ocean and Lover's Point views that can be enjoyed from the kitchen table, living room, or the master bedroom. Due to the implementation of Measure M, a minimum of 30 day rental is required for any stay. The upstairs in this reverse floor plan beckons with wonderful hardwood floors, leading to a master bedroom with a comfortable king sized bed and an armchair for reading or just enjoying the nearly 180 degree ocean and bay views. The master bathroom sports a glass shower and a jacuzzi tub. The living room has a fireplace and a large new leather sectional sofa comprised of four power recliners which can serve as an extra sleeping space. When not admiring the views, one can enjoy the HD television with XFinity/Comcast, local HD programming, and a DVD/BluRay player. There is Comcast high speed WiFi Internet throughout the house. A separate dining area extends from the living room with ocean views. The adjacent chef's kitchen is well appointed with granite countertops and most anything for cooking up a special meal. Experience the spectacular view from the glass topped kitchen table. Barbecue your dinner in a Weber propane grill on the second floor deck or cozy up near the glass bordered fire pit and enjoy a beverage while listening to the waves and looking out on Monterey Bay. There are two bedrooms downstairs, each with a comfortable queen sized bed. When not enjoying the ocean view, one can watch local HD television or a Blu-ray/DVD on an HD TV. The second bathroom is festively decorated with a beach motif and also contains a jacuzzi tub. There is a laundry room with a standard washer and dryer. The attached finished 2 car garage may be used for storing your vehicle, kayak or bicycles. There are also bicycles available for use. Conveniently located just steps from the beach and recreational trail, short hikes open up your world to tidepools, surfing, scuba, snorkeling, and paddleboarding. A 10-15 minute stroll to downtown Pacific Grove will bring you to many excellent dining options and unique shops. The kitchen window reveals portions of the Pacific Grove Municipal Golf Course, known as "Poor Man's Pebble Beach" for its amazing views of the ocean and Point Pinos Lighthouse on the back nine of the course, all at an affordable price. A 15 minute drive can take you to famous golf courses such as Pebble Beach, Spyglass, and Spanish Bay, or to fantastic dining and artistic options in Carmel.

Loved the location and view that this home offered. We could walk for miles along the coast or head into town to various restaurants. We took day trips to Big Sur and Santa Cruz and enjoyed Monterey and Carmel as well. The home was comfortable and it’s location was beyond perfect!!

First of all the view from the slightly higher elevation is spectacular. You can see from Lovers Point and Hopkins Research facility almost 180 degrees towards the beginning of Asilomar. The location is also perfect because you are away from the busier cottage section of Pacific Grove but still close enough to enjoy the great restaurants and everything Pacific Grove has to offer. An amazing coastal walking trail which goes miles in either direction is right outside your door step. The kitchen is extremely well stocked, the couch in the living room with motorized recliners made an excellent indoor meeting place with ample room. Spectacular views are available from the kitchen, living room and master. The deck is wide and has a propane firepit which is perfect for chilly evenings. All the beds are comfortable and the bathrooms well designed.

Beautiful House, Fantastic Location
This is such a wonderful house. It’s located a minute walk to the Bay and a great coastal trail for walking or running. The back deck is the full length of the house and looks right out over the water. Sunrises are spectacular. The house is very well-maintained and amazingly well-appointed. Super comfortable beds, a giant couch with recliners and a kitchen that has everything you will need. The hosts, David and Celeste, are very responsive and just great to work with. The neighbors are awesome as well. You will not have a single regret when staying here…except maybe the desire to stay a lot longer…

This property located by Lover's Point has great views from inside the house from 2 bedrooms, the living room and the kitchen eating area. There is a long balcony on the second story with these views so you can enjoy the views outside also. The house is well maintained, decorated well and nicely appointed. The kitchen is well equipped. Everything was great about the property. I want to return.

Awesome Pacific Grove charmer
This lovely home in Pacific Grove was the perfect place to stay while visiting the Peninsula for the Monterey Jazz Festival, the home was well appointed and every detail was considered to provide travelers with a welcoming environment. Celeste was easy to contact and very responsive. The bottle of wine was a special touch which we enjoyed while viewing the sunset on the back deck overlooking the ocean. It was hard to leave this paradise. We plan to stay here again the next time we are in the area. Five stars for sure!!! Thanks to David and Celeste for sharing this great property

Wonderful family time
So much to enjoy! Super view of ocean, loved the fire pit and deck...easy access to things and places we wanted to do... didn’t have time to ride bikes, would have enjoyed that.... next time!

We had a wonderful experience at the house for a golf week. I love the reclining sofa that let you stare out at the ocean.

Nice House, Fabulous Views
My family enjoyed our stay in this well-maintained house with sweeping ocean views from the breakfast room, living room, master, and deck. Beaches are within walking distance, and there was a beach umbrella, ample beach towels, and sand toys and such at the house. There were two aquarium passes as well, which we really appreciated (saved us a lot of money!).
I would note that there is a lot of separation between the upstairs master suite and the two downstairs bedrooms, so if you have little kids you might want to bring a monitor.

Beautiful house across the street from the beach
My two kids, husband and I all enjoyed this property. I went on several long walks along the ocean during our stay. The property is not quite walking distance to the aquarium, however, especially with little kids (we did bring the stroller but it's 1.5 miles to the aquarium). The views of the ocean from the house were lovely and if proximity to the beach is important, I would recommend it.
A few things could be improved- ie chips in dishes and there very few plates and utensils.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS HOME AND PG!
We were so blessed to come to PG and relax and get refreshed and this home make it so amazingly easy to do. The property was beautiful and well supplied. We loved the reclining sofa with amazing views! WOW...yes we now have to buy one of those. Thanks D&C for an amazing home and blessing us.

Loved It.
Great property and location. Nothing to fault. Our only issue was we were a group of 3 couples. One got the master, which was wonderful. The other two rooms share a bathroom which is not ensuite. Just a planning thing for 6 adults. Downtown and the beach is a very short walk.
