About this cabin rental
Located in Salmon, this lovely cabin for $165 per night is a great choice for your next break. The cabin is built in the style of a traditional trapper cabin that were common in the area when the west was settled. It has 600 square feet and contains one bedroom and one bathroom. The cabin sleeps 3 comfortably. The bedroom has queen bed and one of the love seats converts to a single hide a bed. The cabin has a living area with dining table seating for six. There is a full kitchen with all the essentials to cook up a western style meal. The cabin has a nice front covered porch with Amish built gliders for relaxing. The large side deck overlooks Jesse Creek and the fire pit area. There is outside seating on this deck with a grill station for outdoor cooking and eating. The cabin is about 3/4 of a mile from downtown Salmon. Ample parking is available if you have a boat, four wheeler or snow machines you plan to use during your stay in the area.

Ralph was timely and responsive to all of my questions and gave helpful information. The cabin was comfortable, well-stocked and everything worked. We enjoyed being there and liked the quiet neighborhood and easy access to town. All in all very positive.

Loved the cabin next to the river. The cabin feels secluded because of the beautiful landscaping that hides neighbors. It’s perfect for a couple retreat. The door into the bathroom inside the bedroom is louvred, not a lot of privacy if that’s an issue. Bed is comfortable, kitchen has everything you need. Great place. Host is very helpful.

After 7 arduous days on the road, our Salmon cabin gave us exactly what we needed to rest and relax. We were lulled to sleep by the sounds of the nearby stream. We could choose from many options for relaxing on the wraparound porch. The cabin was spotless and the bed was comfortable. The kitchen had everything, even a salad spinner. Ralph, the owner, was very communicative, and he answered my questions and provided suggestions in a very timely manner. The landscaping around the cabin was another plus. At the edge of town, it felt like we were in the country from the deck. There isn’t much room for unpacking.

We had the most wonderful time staying in cozy cabin by the creek. It was our base camp before and after a multi-day river trip - plug for Idaho Adventures Rafting! It was charming, clean, tidy and cheerful. The open layout and large wrap around deck made the small cabin seem much larger. Generous supply of coffee, spices and supplies were much appreciated. The landscaping that wraps around the house is lush and lovely. It was spring so the creek was running high - lulled us to sleep with the windows open. Host was very responsive, accommodating and helpful. The posting, last we checked, said no wifi but wifi is available and plenty fast. Read instructions for managing the hot water for the shower carefully before showering. No cleaning fee is charged which we were grateful for, so leave some time to do dishes and sweep before you leave. Quiet neighborhood and Very close to town to get groceries, but we didn't venture out otherwise - just enjoyed staying at "home" :) Can't recommend it more highly - we'll be back for our next river trip!

Mountain cabin in the middle of town
Great cabin for a couple visiting Salmon! Located in the heart of town, but the large lot, fire pit & creek make you feel like you're out in the woods. Visited during the fall so we really enjoyed the gas logs stove.

Very relaxing and enjoyed the atmosphere
Loved the location. Close to town but once you were there you felt there was no one else around except all the deer we were able to see and watch. The fall foliage around the cabin and other foliage was amazing. Very comfy and cozy. Appreciated the owners being so accessible.

Cute, Cozy, Clean and Convenient
This adorable cabin and it's setting offer more than what the photos really show. When we arrived we were surprised at spaciousness around the property and the size of the deck -- which we had a couple of family dinners on. I grew up in the town so this place made me feel at home and also was close enough to go downtown, have family stop by to visit, ride our mountain bikes around, and give our 8 yr old daughter plenty of room to play outside. It is very quiet and peaceful with the small creek out back, and although there was a ban on firepits while were were there, we loved the idea of being able to have one to use. This home has all the necessities to stay for days. Everything was charming, comfortable and very enjoyable. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you Ralph and Deb for providing a great spot to rent.

We loved our stay in this peaceful cabin. We spent almost every morning and night setting.on the front porch enjoying the weather and the occasional deer. The cabin was clean and well maintained. We appreciated the host checking in to see if we had everything we needed and if everything was going well. We will be recomeding this to our friends and family.

Nice little cabin convenient to everything Salmon. Three guys attending the annual Horse Sale for three days. Had to sleep one on the floor but it worked out fine. Had barbeque on the nice deck one night.

Renting the cabin was a breeze quick and easy. Ralph was easy to get a hold of via text his response was quick. He graciously offered any help that might be needed if returning would definitely use cabin again.

Fabulous extended weekend in Salmon, Idaho
Our stay in Salmon was wonderful. The accommodations were clean, extremely comfortable and perfectly located. Being in a neighborhood just minutes from town was very convenient, and at the same relaxing on the large outdoor deck with mountain views, visiting deer and a trickling creek, you felt you were secluded high up in the mountains away from the world. The host was very communicative checking in via text before, during and after our stay. Fishing in the nearby rivers and other outdoor recreation in the area can’t be beat! This is definitely worth a second visit!

This cabin was perfect for our stay, a short distance from town and the rafting outfitter. Landscaping is gorgeous with beautiful flowers and trees and great birdwatching. Was lovely to be by the creek, so peaceful. Only issue was the on demand water heater for the shower, tricky to get temperature and flow right, but we figured it out! Host was easily reached via text. Two thumbs way up.

Wonderful and beautiful location on creek!
Owner was great to work with and I truly believe this cabin is the very best in Salmon! The sound of the creek lulled us to sleep, the decks are a great hangout and the cabin had many essentials for cooking. The deck barbecue was great too!

Fun Stay
We were so happy with the location of this cabin. It was near friends and restaurants. The cabin was darling . We really enjoyed the large deck for entertaining friends. We would have called it 100% perfect if there were a television. If the fall we love college football and baseball playoffs!
