This property was wonderful. A fantastic base of operations for our daily excursions into northern Door County. We cooked meals in the well-stocked kitchen, relaxed by the firepit, & got some our best sleep in months on the comfiest of beds. Thank you for hosting us. We will be back soon!

This house was perfect for our mom and daughter getaway! Close to town and easy to get to things we wanted to do. Would definitely stay here again.

Easy to get to, but far enough away from the traffic to be quiet and private. Only a few minutes away from Potawatomi State Park, which gets fewer visitors than the bigger parks to the north. Bed is comfortable. Kitchen is adequate, but like most rentals, you'll need to haul real kitchen gear in if you're doing any serious cooking. All of the important stuff was well-maintained. A few easily fixable problems: The sofa is in bad need of replacement, and there really is no other comfortable seating. The bedroom needs dark blinds or shades on the west windows to block light from nearby outbuilding - I had to hang up blankets to darken the room enough to sleep, especially with the rain making that light flicker. When the wind was blowing, which it did quite a lot on our last night there, we heard a constant knocking sound. I think it came from the TV antenna mast, which is loose in its mount and bumping the fascia. I still gave the place 4 stars. We're both really light sleepers. Fix that and you get 5 stars. A few guests complained about lack of cell service and wifi in older reviews. We got two bars on our phones, so I think the mobile providers have built more towers since. Hold your phone near an open window for more signal. Hey. you're in the boons. All in all, it's a pretty good place to stay for that price point.

Cute, cozy 1BR, 1.5 bath cabin near Sturgeon Bay. It was very clean & the king bed was nice and firm. Only downside is that there is NO WiFi, so unless you desire to be off the grid, be sure to check your coverage for that exact address. My mother is ill, so I had to drive up the road a couple of times each day to check in with her & my sister

This property was well cared for and maintained. Clean and as pictures show. A bit off the beaten path with an approximate 10 minute drive to Sturgeon Bay but totally quiet and reclusive because of it. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks!

We were impressed with the little details to make us feel comfortable during our stay. Filtered water, comfy king-size bed, Keurig machine with coffee pods provided, plenty of towels and blankets, beautiful deck with nice patio furniture, and very well-maintained and clean. It seemed like no corners were cut. A very cozy cottage in a quiet area near the bay. Just what we needed. Thank you for a relaxing stay.

This is the sweetest little cottage in the middle of nowhere and yet close to home. It was exactly what my husband and I needed, a place in the country somewhat close to town without any cell phone reception! It was such a blessing to unplug! We once in a while would get a little text message by the coffee pot but otherwise, no reception which was a God send for two busy workers. Thank you for an amazing stay we loved it and will be back!!

Perfect size for a couple on an anniversary getaway. Lack of Wifi wasn't a problem, because we anticipated it. Need to drive a bit to get anywhere, but that's Door County.

Absolutely fabulous! We were able to go sightseeing during the day and come back and relax in the nice quiet country!

Just what we wanted. Quiet place away from city noises but only 15 - 20 minute drive to any sightseeing, shopping or restaurant.

I was fortunate to spend 4 nights in this lovely, cozy and charming cottage. The fireplace, quiet setting, a bottle of wine, and a pile of books were all I needed to have a delightful and relaxing escape.

5-10 mins from town but turkeys just outside our bedroom windown each morning. It was 100% perfectly and we will definitely be returning!!!

A good getaway close to Sturgeon Bay and Algoma. Hiked in Potawatamie State Park and saw few others. Visited the new Maritine Museum Tower but it was largely unfinished. Algoma and Jacksonport beaches were very pleasant during this heatwave.

I loved this little space! The bedroom was great and the solitude was my favorite part. I only missed the WIFI for a pressing work project and it was my fault that I didn’t check and see that there was no WIFI. If you want to “check out” check in to this cute little home.

Everything was just lovely. Comfortable, clean, charming. Would have appreciated a tutorial on how to lock the front door. Unlock easy, locking from outside, frustrating.
