The location of this home is unique and offers the best of Gearhart. Shops and eateries are within walking distance (including the local favorite Pacific Way Bakery & Cafe), and fun activities like playing on the beach and playing a game of doubles on the public tennis courts are close by as well. The beach is about a three-block walk away, so you won't waste much time getting to the sand. A perfect blend of traditional beach house and modern decor create an atmosphere that can't be beat. The fenced backyard is a nice place to relax after a day out and about. Light the firepit and roast s'mores while the dogs and kids run around. Please note that there is a nightly pet fee. Gather the group in the living room to cozy up on the plush sofas for a movie night on the large flatscreen TV. Cable is provided so you won't miss your favorite shows. Across the room is a full kitchen with major and small appliances (coffeemaker, toaster, blender, microwave, mixer, and dishwasher included) for tasty at-home meals. A breakfast bar with two chairs sits off the butcher block island and a small bistro table for two is nearby as well. The master bedroom features a king-size bed and a gorgeous in-room clawfoot tub next to the sink and toilet. Two twin-size beds occupy the second bedroom and a 3/4 bathroom with a large stand-alone shower is just off the hallway. Feel free to stay at this fresh vacation rental as long as you like and have peace of mind knowing clean clothes for tomorrow's activities using the washer and dryer. Head down to Gearhart Ocean State Park to beachcomb, take a relaxing stroll, and even build sandcastles on the rare, yet divine, sunny days. Play tennis, reserve a tee time at Gearhart Golf Links, and try out glass-blowing. Go hiking and horseback riding, or take a trip south a couple miles to Seaside or about 10 miles down to Cannon Beach. From whale watching to staying in on a rainy day, your stay at this dog-friendly Oregon home will be one for the books. If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the nightly pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting "Yes" to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The nightly fee ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. This is a cute, well priced place to stay. Everything is very comfortable. Our dogs loved the fenced yard and we made full use of the well equipped kitchen. (We replaced the missing can opener and could have used a few cleaning supplies). The location worked so well as we enjoyed many of the fun things to do in Clatsop County and being able to enjoy walks around the village and on the beach. Parking was great. We’re already planning a return visit.

We enjoyed a weekend with the pups at our favorite beach in this lovely house. It was perfect for the two of us and our pups. It could have easily accommodated more people as well.
The house was very clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed the decor. It had everything we needed and the fenced yard was perfect for the pups. The location was on a quiet dead end street but close to everything.
We are already looking forward to another stay here. Highly recommended!!

We love Gearhart and were happy to find a vacation rental property that is dog-friendly! Our pups loved the big fenced yard. This home sits on the Ridge Path which is lovely to explore, and is only a 5-10 minute walk to the beach. The wi-fi worked great, and we enjoyed watching our latest Netflix binge on the big screen tv. While essentials are provided, there are a few things I'll take next time: sharp kitchen knives, a functional cheese grater, fabric softener (a small supply of laundry detergent was provided), Kleenex (toilet tissue is provided), and a few Tupperware type of containers for use in the kitchen, and cotton sheets (personal preference over the cotton/poly blend sheets provided). There were 3 non-working flashlights which could have been a bummer in a power outage! Vacasa representatives were readily available via text for a few questions that came up. Yes, we would stay here again!

Neighborhood is very quiet and full of trees, which keeps the house and fully fenced yard sheltered from those blustery coastal winds. About a 7-8 minute walk to the beach, which we didn’t mind at all, plus a great trail that runs right past the house to the little downtown area. We cooked a fair amount and the kitchen was reasonably well stocked, but we were glad we brought our own knives and spices, and wished we had brought a good sauté pan (just the usual “rental house equipment”, nothing too bad). Place is very clean, and the only maintenance items that were kind of bothersome were the main bedroom door that really sticks (you basically have to slam it to close it) and main bed/bath sink that doesn’t drain. Great little place and we would stay there again!

We will be back..and the Elk greeted us driving in and trumpeting at dawn and dusk.

For us the short weekend (never been to Gearhart) worked out really well. It's not close to the beach but gave us some good walking. The fenced in yard was the BEST for our dog and appreciated being able to take him with us for his first trip to the beach.

Best for a couple only. Bathtub and toilet in the king bedroom without a wall really odd. Privacy? Yard needs a spruce up but nicely fenced for a dog and large. Window installed to open into the king bedroom so that it swings over the bed and you can't close the blinds.
