Great little find in Gearhart!

The cottage was very well appointed, with extra towels, dishware, pots and pans, lots of room with 2 living rooms available... and the neighborhood was very nice and quiet.

The only hiccup we had, was trying to enter the house the first time.... but connecting with customer service, helped a lot. The only other thing, we would have a comment about, would be the different "levels" of floor.

The house is great but the opening system isn"t working.

We couldn't open the door, so we called the office and we were told that someone will come to help us. Nobody came : so I called my son-in-law in Portland , who was able to see on the phone the 3 different lockboxes which were next to the door, in addition to the the code lock on the door which didn't work. He managed to figure out what to do and to coach me : thanks to the video on my phone. We lost an hour outside the house trying to get in. It was really too bad. The house itself is so beautiful .

Place was super clean & really nice!

Wish could have checked in just an hour early..had a wedding..place was empty but we couldn't get in until 4pm..

Had to sleep two people in a full bed. . . was expecting a TWO Queen size Bed

The odor in the home is really awful. Also, a circuit was blown and could locate board.

Great family retreat

Two very large living rooms allowing a family ample space to spread out for different interests. Comfortable close bedrooms. All in all lovely space. Very welcoming to puppies. Well stocked kitchen. Very clean. I really love Gearhardt for a quiet beach getaway!

These are tiny things - the refrigerator door was missing bars would hold jars in the door, no fenced yard for the dog, the house had different levels between the rooms so I stubbed my toe a bit. The sign in the house said checkout was 11 am but email said 10 am - I assumed it was for enhanced cleaning.

Poor

Spacious home, excellent location and the herd of elk that spent hours across the street was fascinating. The neighborhood is very private & quiet.

I reported the microwave didn't work right away & I was assured it would be repaired. I assumed it would be replaced within 24 hours. You usually replace broken microwaves not repair, regardless nothing was done. I'm not a slave to the microwave however, no microwave no reheating, no popcorn. I was extremely disappointed in the total disregard of a problem that should have been resolved. I then I realized the the exterior lights on all exit doors didn't function with the exception of the front door. This did present a safety issue & the fact the property owners request a shoe free home. The only safe enterance in the dark was the front door, a carpeted area. There is a entrance with a vinyl floor area for taking off shoes, wanted to use that entrance primarily but just to dark. Finally a past guest that was reading challenged used the recycling bin for several bottles with some egg shells, orange peel & toliet tissue thrown in for good measure. I tried to remove the glass, however, without dumping the entire container over I couldn't get them all. Finally the kitchen needs one of those silver brillo type pads for all the frying pans. Most all the pans are useless because the only thing that cleans the surface of these stainless steel cooking surfaces is those kind of pads. I don't usually have negative remarks but for me, these issues were a pretty big deal. I guess the microwave issue not being resolved within 24 hours was a BIG sign of poor management. The good definitely overruled the bad on this lovely home.

It's very spacious and well equipped. We especially enjoyed the comfy beds and comforters.
