Nestled in Cleveland Heights, this attractive house for $60 per night is a great choice for your next break. Safe and secure, our upper floor of our double is warm and inviting for all. The hardwood floors from early 1900's have been refinished along with solid wood doors. The bath offers a claw-foot tub with stand up shower as well. Kitchen includes utensils and dishware for your stay. Oven and fridge as well. The home is located literally one minute walk from Cleveland's RTA Red Line Rapid Transit train system. The Rapid ride downtown is two minutes long and fifteen minutes to the airport.

We wanted to take a little road trip and ended up with Cleveland as the destination. Just needed a designated place to rest and wash up between adventures. The post is accurate, the renters are very kind and it was very clean. Bed and futon were comfy.

We had a nice stay. I didn’t realize that the listing didn’t have air conditioning (my fault). It would have been more comfortable with another fan, but we survived. The place was very clean. The key was a little hard to get out of the lockbox at night.

Great location for cyclists that are going to ride the OTET. Just 2+ miles from the start of the OTET. (We were riding South.) She was very helpful in providing places we could secure our bicycles overnight within the rental. The rental was sufficient for our needs (4 adults). No problems with anything.

Adam was prompt and pleasant when responding to my inquiry. Chris became our point of contact after that. Since we were flying in from GA and using public transit the entire trip, she gave us excellent directions to the apartment via the subway. The location is very close to the RTA Redline which makes it convenient to access all parts of the Cleveland area. (I recommend getting a weekly pass which works on all trains and buses. There is also free transportation in areas such as University Circle.) The apartment is also an easy walk to Gordon Square with an assortment of arts, entertainment and restaurants. A bit further down finds you on the shores of beautiful Lake Erie. I found it to be a pedestrian friendly area and never felt concerned walking about. The apartment itself was perfect for our needs. Plenty of cups, plates, bowls, pots, pans, etc.. for cooking meals in. They also kindly supply you with a generous starter amount of coffee and tea until you can take a stroll to the local Save-A-Lot for groceries. The short flight of stairs up to the unit might be a little narrow and steep for some but they reminded me of a place I stayed in Amsterdam. :) The apartment can be set up as a one bedroom or two bedroom unit, just let Chris know what your preference is. If you’re a bibliophile, you’ll love the very ample and eclectic assortment of books available for your reading pleasure after a long day of exploring. The apartment / house is as described, a restoration project for Adam and Chris. It’s a wonderful older home with beautiful bones. Having restored/renovated a home built in 1913 myself, I can certainly see why they invested in it. Bottom line... if you want to stay at the Ritz, please do. If you want to stay somewhere with charm and character, close to public transit, with delightful hosts that are easily accessible but not intrusive, I wouldn’t hesitate to book this property. Thank you again, Chris, for the extra touch when you brought us fresh towels. Your thoughtfulness made my evening! How did you know? ;)

Location is okay. Neighborhood is not the best, but I wouldn't say dangerous. House is on a busy street too, but parking aplenty right in front. Unit is really 1 bedroom with room for 4 with the additional pullout in living room. Kitchen was newly updated and nice, but minimal in size and amenities (small microwave, but no toaster). Bath was also newly updated, but could use some shelves and hook. Towels and linens included, so that was a plus.

A great location! Adam and Chris were great hosts that were very flexible with our late arrival. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking, and the bathroom had all the necessities! The only issue we had was the lights on at night in the stairwell, which may have been a safety issue as the stairs are steep. Some shades would easily resolve that issue. We would definitely stay again should we be in the area!

It's a great soaxe! Very very close to downtown. Decent neighborhood. House is old but not terrible. But for the money it was great. Hosts were very polite and answered questions about the town for us. Very happy overall.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our hosts were very friendly and accommodating. The parking was convenient and the house is located close to numerous restaurants. I was originally hesitant to stay here because there's no air conditioning; however, the rooms were quite cool and comfortable, even though we stayed here at the end of July. Everything was very clean as well. We give this place 2 thumbs up and would not hesitate to stay here again if we're ever back in the area.

I stayed with my sister and my 3-month old son and everything went great! The only thing I would recommend is a window air-conditioner unit. There were window fans that cooled the space off at night, but it was verrrry hot during the day which made it difficult for my son who was a little cranky :-/

This property was a pretty excellent option for us, a group of three dudes checking out some of Cleveland's bars and breweries. The hosts were very nice and easy to communicate with, and suggested local places to check out.Though it is obviously in the process of some renovation, everything was very clean. As long as you're not a primadonna who is offput by a little bit of chipped paint on a doorframe, this is a cool little space. Would I stay here again? Yes.
