About this house rental
Located in Yosemite Park Way, this lovely house for $656 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. This Yosemite West home is located inside Yosemite National Park. It is the closest lodging to the Badger Pass Ski area and Glacier Point, a short ten and twenty minute drive respectively, and is only twenty minutes from Yosemite Valley's floor. Hickory floors, slate tile, maple cabinets, vaulted ceiling, gas fire place, and granite countertops all add to the peaceful stay at the home. We also have Starlink internet. The master bedroom is located on the top floor and has a California King sized bed. Adjacent this is the master bathroom which has a shower and large bathtub that looks out over the trees. The loft area can also access this bathroom if you like and is a perfect place to snuggle up and read and has a futon that sleeps two. Two additional bedrooms with queen size beds share the second bathroom on the main level. The large deck is perfect in the summer months and is shaded by large fir trees. The house has a full kitchen, well equipped for those who enjoy cooking, a large dining table and deck furniture. Tesla car charging is available during off-peak hours (12pm - 7am) by special request - please inquire. There is parking room for up to 3 cars; however, please let us know ahead of time if bringing more than 2. Also, to maximize parking, please park perpendicular to the street. **Please note that there are 30+ stairs to access the house** **Please note - the mattresses are very firm** There is a studio apartment in the basement the might be occupied by the homeowner or housekeeper during your stay. There are no shared walls between the studio and rental unit.

This house is gorgeous and immaculate! We loved staying right in Yosemite. This is our first visit here and everything was perfect! Keep in mind there are a few steps down to the house. We were all so impressed by this house! Exactly as described.

Five adults stayed for a few days of hiking and exploring. The home is very comfortable and easy to find with beautiful surroundings and nice furnishings. Owners responded quickly and helpfully to any questions. We will definitely stay again.

You can’t go wrong with this house and owner. Yosemite isn’t simple to navigate since it takes so long to get from place to place up and down the mountains, but this place in Yosemite West is a great location. The house is spotless. Nicely furnished and decorated. Beds are super comfortable. Plenty of blankets and linens. Kitchen has all of the equipment you need. Grill is nice and works great. All hardwood floors so slippers are recommended. The property is on a mountainside so there realistically is no place to hang in a yard but deck is really large and side porch gets nice late day sun. As Barb the owner will advise, you should get all that you need grocery/spices/PAM etc at a full service grocer on way in. The Park grocery (40 min away) is ok but limited and it’s at least an hour if not more to the nearest full serve grocer in a town. No close restaurants except lodge vendor places. It was nice to grill a burger or have some pasta at home after a day on the trails.
We loved this place. We cooked breakfast then went off for the day and came back to a comfortable space to sit on the deck or by the fireplace, have a beer and reflect on our adventures. Owners were fantastic in every way. Tech worked reliably though we really didn’t use it much except for Wi-Fi. Sonos speaker was great while we played games. We were too tired to peruse the nice collection of books relating to Yosemite on hand. Again great experience and wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again!

Everything went as we have planned. We drove up through Mariposa, arriving 10am to the south gate and toured through the Mariposa Grove as a starter. We did hikes to see the valley and El Capitan from the opposite top before we checked in in the evening. The accommodation was great with big tub and outside deck to relax. We met Beth as we were checking out, and she was so welcoming! This was my Birthday week and it was a fantastic way to spend our days in Yosemite with the whole family!

Though it had snowed the week before, the parking pad, steps, and balcony were clear - which was a nice to see as the road into the Yosemite West neighborhood was a bit snow covered and icy. I would definitely recommend this renter to anyone planning to visit Yosemite.
