Situated in San Clemente, this lovely house for $225 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Welcome to San Clemente the quaint village by the sea. There are two entirely separate living apartments distinctively decorated, one upstairs Apt 'B', one downstairs Apt 'A'. Each apartment has two bedrooms with the same floor plans. We are in the best location in a quiet low density area of San Clemente just two blocks north of the pier bowl area, here it is much quieter. We have a nice open area and a great community park in the little canyon just steps below us which you can see in the photos. Just click on that first photo and you'll see the inside of the unit. Also, you can actually see and hear the waves even from inside the casa! We have four gigantic five by eight-foot windows that look out to the beautiful unobstructed view of the waves and ocean sunsets. There is nothing but fresh ocean air between you and the beach. At Casa Azul you will have your own patio, off street parking (a real commodity at the beach), and a feeling of comfort that comes from knowing you can walk to the beach, main street or pier all in a matter of minutes! On Main Street, which is really named Avenida Del Mar, you will find great restaurants, craft fairs, farmers market, antique shops, and a hidden deli/sandwich shop called Billy's which is worth looking for! At the north end of Avenida Del Mar will be El Camino Real. Turn right here and you will find Antoines, get your morning coffee, anyway you like it and better than Starbucks, also delicious, healthy, exquisitely prepared breakfasts. We are mid-way between Los Angeles and San Diego. Each a fantastic city to visit if you want to take a break from the beach. San Diego has a world class Zoo/Wild Animal park, along with fantastic public transportation to reach their harbor, complete with a pirate ship open for tours. There is a train stop in San Clemente that will take you to LA or San Diego and all points in between. Laguna Beach is just nine miles north. Here you will find picturesque rocky beaches, a world class artists colony with unusual summer festivals. Dana Point three miles north has a great harbor with tours for whale watching and sight seeing, you can rent your own watercraft here or get on the ship to Santa Catalina Island for a day tour of this California gem. Stay at the casa and relax in beautiful San Clemente, don't tell anyone but this town is one of the best kept secrets in Southern California, with all the amenities you will need, or visit any and all of the interesting, enticing, sights of Southern California from your temporary 'home' at Casa Azul. Had a wonderful beautiful experience!!! The condo was warm and comfy. The view was extraordinary! Everything was within walking distance. The owner Victoria was very easy to work with. We saw her several times and throughly enjoyed her company! We will be back this Fall. Thank you!!

From the moment I contacted Victoria, the property owner, I knew I had selected the right place to stay. She was responsive, warm, friendly and super nice. I arrived and entered a blue heaven...amazing views of the ocean from the LR and I slept in the BR where I could hear the ocean waves- falling asleep and waking to that beautiful sound. The apartment is great- I had family and friends stay, and gave them the queen size BR and they and I all agree the beds are super comfy and that's so important. The kitchen is also stocked well, and I was able to cook many meals for myself and my guests. Very comfortable, and especially enjoyed sitting on the beautiful patio mornings and evenings and sometimes just staying all day long in the apartment with the French door fully open (there's a screen door) so I could hear the ocean waves and enjoy the vista view. Delmar (the Main Street) where all the action is, is a few short block walk away and you can find whatever you need there. A wonderful stay and if I visit San Clemente again, I will look forward to staying at Victoria's sweet home. Thank you for your hospitality Victoria! And to all others, I encourage you to book this place- you won't regret it.

If you love the beach, this is your place. I walked on the beach 3X/day during our two-week visit. The house is about 200 yards up the hill from the ocean, and has a decent view. It had everything we needed.

The Casa was clean, comfortable, and spacious, and Victoria was very nice to communicate with. Plus the location is amazing! Basically one block from a great beach, providing lovely views, with a cute park across the street and the shops & restaurants on Del Mar just a few blocks away.

We love Casa Azul! It is in the perfect location. Walking to the beach, pier, park, and downtown every day was so easy and it is just heavenly to be so close to the ocean! Victoria is wonderful to work with and has made the home so cozy and comfortable. It was great to have boogie boards, sand toys, and beach chairs at the property so that we didn't have to bring our own. My 3 daughters all shared the kids' room and it was much more spacious than it seems in the photos. My family had such a wonderful time! We will definitely be back next year! Can't recommend Casa Azul highly enough. LOVE the home and Victoria !!

This was our first day at the Casa, but it will not be our last! My wife loves the view, my daughter loves the shops on Del Mar, our dog loves the park, I love the pier and long beach walks, and we all love of the bars and restaurants and the terrific beach vibe of San Clemente. As beautiful as the pictures are of the Casa, they do not do it justice. Thanks Victoria for a wonderful stay.

We enjoyed the Casa. The view was beautiful and it was easy to get in and out of. We picked a very hot week and with no AC it was a bit uncomfortable but the place is amazing and well appointed.

The location of this place couldnt be better. We were walking distance to a trail and the beach, we could walk to the park. You can see the ocean from the casa. The owner was very accommodating and offered us a pack and play for our baby. We had a queen size bed and 3 twin size beds (one was a pull out). Very comfortable. The decor is beautiful. The house had all needed amenities including basic spices and oils for cooking. There were beach toys, towels and chairs. We will absolutely stay here again!!! 6 star stay!!

We stayed in the second floor apartment. The living room and dining room had great views of a park below, the waves and beach. This is an older building but comfortable and clean. It was very quiet (we had no one downstairs till the last 2 days and didn't find it noisy then). Victoria was great in getting back to us to answer any questions. Not easy for her as we turn off cell phones while on vacation. This original part of San Clemente is very much a beach town and is still a very charming place to spend some time. The shops on the main street are interesting and fun to explore. Had a lovely time.
