The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Overall the place was nice. It was very nicely decorated for the season. The attention to detail with regards to the theme was outstanding. We did however encounter several issues within the property that were not appreciated and if I had known of these issues I would have booked elsewhere. Firstly, I contacted the property ahead of time to ensure certain features would be available such as hot tub and grill. The hot tub was functional but the grill was not. I was told to buy a propane tank which I did. Upon inspection of said grill, there was ALREADY a propane tank however the grill's pilot did not light. It was inoperable and the tank itself was $80 which clearly was a waste. When I contacted the property regarding this issue they were not helpful at all. Another very big issue was that the full bathroom on the main level was inoperable as well. This is a huge problem as you might suspect. Not everyone on the trip knew each other and we were expecting 3 full bathrooms and was only able to use 2 of them. Again when I contacted the host, they were not helpful and provided no resolution to our issues. In addition to these very problematic issues, the fireplace on the main level also was inoperable. It really was frustrating that every single day of the trip we found a different issue which brought our rating down significantly. It was most frustrating that the hosts did not attempt to rectify any of these issues or address them at all. Check out is way too early also. Bad time

5 Little Acorns was a great location for my family to get away for a long weekend. Home was clean, plenty of cookware, plenty of hooks for towels, and a great office space.

Plenty of space in the cabin. They had a lot of cute details like their dinner wear. The kitchen was fully equipped and then some! Wi-fi was excellent. We really enjoyed the pool and the hot tub. The cabin has been well taken care of- including the grounds. We most enjoyed the wrap around porch. It’s really close to groceries and restaurants which was so convenient. I would book this cabin again.

This house is just beautiful and in a very quiet location surrounded by trees. Our family of our children and grandchildren had plenty of room to spread out for quiet time, but also had a lovely open concept kitchen and living area for games and spending time just being together.
The location is such that it is secluded and yet we were only about .2 miles from Perkins pancakes and a grocery store. There was also a Fun Zone that the grandkids enjoyed nearby.
Everyone in our family agreed that this was the best house we have rented for our family vacations!

The place was great. We did call about the upper bathroom shower door that was loose from the fringe. We understood someone was coming to take a look yet no one ever came during our stay.

perfect cabin for a short 4 night stay with 2 families, 8 people. pool, hot tub, TVs, and just overall cozy ambiance, makes for a great home away from home during a ski trip. highly recommend, and i will only stay here in the future when going to wisp to ski!

Property had wonderful amenities as we enjoyed pool table , hot tub and wrap around decks…kitchen well stocked with all needed utensils….good heat and water pressure for showers.
Our main complaint was cleanliness as the first casserole dish, wine glass and soup bowl I pulled out of cupboard were all dirty. Also, it was unusually cold with a snow dusting and the fireplace in living room did not work…it took two days for anyone to even come to look at it and discover it needed a part to he ordered….the fireplace would have added a lot to ambiance.

We loved the home and all the amenities; hot tub, fire pit, and grill. Grill was not clean though. We used foil to cover it. Hair dryer was listed as an amenity, but we had to call to get one, because there was not one in the cabin. Enjoyed the cabin very much. It was very comfortable and we also enjoyed the pool table in the basement. The cabin was a short 4.5 mile drive to Deep Creek Lake which we enjoyed a lot. Visited the lake for swimming, fishing, and also the Discovery Center and aviary. Really liked Ace’s Run restaurant and pub. It was pricier, but worth it. Also tried Archie’s BBQ and the food was good. A grocery store, Shop and Save is in the same community as the cabin. You can also drive to Walmart which is within 10 miles. Really enjoyed having coffee on the wrap around porch. We had a good time.

The property was equipped with all the essentials and then some . Located in a small wooded neighborhood and close proximity to all that Deep Creek Offers. We even got to see a momma bear and her cub up close wandering through the neighborhood! We had a wonderful week with our grown children and two grandsons! Looking forward to the next trip!!

This is my first time using Vacasa or any other service like this so I didn’t really know what to expect. Great experience! The house was clean and just what I expected, cozy and cabin like yet spacious. What I didn’t expect was the amazing porch. I had coffee out back every morning and it was my favorite part of the house. This house is big, probably more than we needed for four adults and two kids but it felt great to be able to spread out. Even with all the thousands of properties to explore, I am very tempted to rent this exact house again next year.

Stores that you might want/need are all close by such as grocery, coffee, beer/wine, etc. The location is also great for exploring surrounding areas such as Oakland. The property management company was very responsive to minor questions/needs we had. Highly recommend and would stay here again!

Wonderful Place
We are very pleased with our stay here. The house was very clean, cozy, and spacious. We loved the deck, nice place to hang out with friends. The yard space and privacy was great to play cornhole and jenga. Great firepit with the hot tub nearby. Overall, just a great place.

Loved staying at this place, just what we all needed. Wish so much we could have stayed longer. It was so peaceful and quiet. Went with adult children and SO’s. Lots of space. I think if there had been a lounge chair on the porch I would have napped there every day. The weather was perfect too! Can’t wait to come back!

We had to buy our own pans and knives to cook. There should also be a sign on the refrigerator not to load everything at once. We had to take everything out and wait 6-7 hours for the refrigerator to get cold.

This is the 2nd time we've stayed here. It's very relaxing and the best time is coming out with your coffee in the morning and watching nature. Will be back again at some point.
